its very nice bike, problem this bike is not engineered for city driving (even lubrication system doesn't work well on low rpm) , everything lower than 7000 rpm isnt good for it :) but if you have possibility to run it on high rpm then you feel beast :) i am driving it every day in city, but have some highway where is no speed cameras, so i am going sometimes to give him 14000 rpm, fucking after that engine even on low rpm works different. :) amazing bike, ill never sell it. p.s. an one more thing this bike is very picky for oil, you need to run the best of the best oil :)

It could be the spark plugs, but it seams the engine is only firing on 2 cylinders some times. It could very well be it has something to do with lubrication or oil. Due to winter here, no one has ridden it in a while. So it's something to check up on when it's undergoing repairs during winter.
@@bikesonroads about lubrication, you can`t do much, only oil like Motul 7100 10w40 synthetic, or Castrol 10w40 4T semi synthetic, and good oil filter, never use unknown quality product (this what i find out from years of researches for this bike, for Castrol you need to be sure that all gaskets are in good state, because the is a lot of cleaning agent in it, ant in case of bad gaskets you'll definitely have leakage, never happens with Motul ), and in winter time, you need to warm up the bike as often as it possible.. About problem of firing: can i guess? the problem exists on 1/8-1/4 range of throttle? :):) i would start from carb cleaning (if bike stands still half of year), jets can be clogged, mostly pilot jets, what affect this range..for winter time, you must add fuel stabilizer in fuel, to avoid humidity and rust in fuel system, even then fuel system in this bike need maintenance quit often. If youll give me more symptoms what happened and, when ill would be able to give more advices .... but main this about this bike, this is time consuming bike, all maintenance must be done on time, like valves, carbs (cleaning, balancing) and so on...
I’m about to go look at one and the guy says it has electrical issues. I’m thinking I can take it to a shop and have it looked at but should I not bother with it?

I have zx6r 2002. It is a very fast bike. I think that the top speed is 270kmh.
