btw. the "one unicorn per map" is only for wild ones ^^ knowing that because I have been breeding them before, the big issue with them is not only is there only 1 spawning at a time, but also they tend to be hunted by any creature around, so they are quite often gone before even finding it or even when finding it lol.
But the one per server rule is actually broken, on ase when on Val we found a total of 3 in the span of a couple hours

@@eddieherring3894 I was about to mention that, we found one, ran out and tamed it, brought it back to base and continued on to what we were planning to do that day and found a second. less than 20 min apart.

I tend to agree with most of your takes but you must be absolutley trippin to rank titans and titanosaurs more rare than the unicorn, mate
It's not a list of the most rare creatures though, it's a list of the least common for players to have tamed. Also, it's a myth about only one spawning at a time. They are definitely really rare on the island since equus are already uncommon but on maps where equus spawn more frequently, it's not weird to have a couple unicorns spawning at the same time.
maybe because 1. titanosaurs are not mega hard to find and 2. Titans can basically be forced to spawn but unicorns cannot as they are a chance to even spawn and then you have to look all over the map maybe to find it if it has even spawned

@@CosmicEcho83true. I *think* they only spawn one at a time on a map but they definitely keep spawning after 1 gets tamed or killed. I got 2 unicorns last week on the island. A day apart. Both male 😫 lol Granted, it had been so long since I’d even seen a unicorn I gave up thinking I’d ever see one again. I almost ignored the ‘white horse’ I landed in front of when I landed for stam. Habit had me spyglass for level when I nearly fell off my argy lol The next day I rescued the 2nd being chomped on by raptors. Both are living happily eating carrots for the rest of their lives inside my house lol. Here’s hoping my luck holds out finding a female
I have never tamed a Titanosaur because I only play Solo, and they're very hard to find. But everytime I'm on Ragnarok I find a unicorn and end up taming it half the time
*Aberrant Dimorphodon. The rarest tame in the game.*
Why it's rare:
-Equivalent spawn rarity of a unicorn on Aberration, making it rare by default
-Only found in/near the radiation zone around the Element Rivers, making it difficult to access because hazmat gear is required.
-Easily killed by nearby wild creatures after spawning, and only tameable in areas where it will likely be eaten alive moments after being knocked out.
-Nobody cares about taming Dimorphodons, the few people who DO see one usually ignore it.
-Small, hard to see from a distance, and easily mistaken for a Seeker if you're not close, making it hard to notice even if one is near you.
-Restricted to one official map, impossible to get normally outside of Aberration.
This is the single rarest tamed creature in the game, and despite how ugly Dimorphodons normally are, this is one of the most beautiful. I encourage you to look up pictures of Aberrant Dimorphodons, they make an ugly creature look cool. You will only find a few pictures, because only a few pictures of these exist.

@@0blacklightning046 Zombie creatures are less rare because more people actively tried to get them. There was a massive rush to get them, and most people tried to at the time they were available. There was also a major duping bug the last time zombie wyverns were avaialble that led to a huge amount of illegitimate ones being created. Meanwhile, the vast majority of the community doesn't know dimorphodons exist on Aberration, wouldn't care about taming one if they saw it, and would struggle to tame one due to the locations they're found in making taming small creatures exceedingly difficult.
The difference is people TRIED to get zombies, and because of that, many people did. Aberrant dimorphs are entirely forgotten and unknown. There's only a small handful of pictures of them that even exist, you'd be hard pressed to find more than 4 or 5.
I was one of those who went looking for them but no luck, also playing alone and going down there was so scary 😱 maybe this time around I will definitely do this since I love my dimorph army and always wanted the glowing abberant kind
After you killed Fenrisúlfr, the Fenrir you acquire is at fixed level, but different stats, beating Gamma you get 150, beating Beta you get 190, beating Alpha you get 225
Once a Unicorn is tamed, another one will spawn, I have tamed 2 Unicorns on The Island, natural spawn, no cheat

@@tjjones10 anywhere Equus spawn. Herbi and Carni island are good spots, as well as the river between the volcano and redwoods.

Tamed about 10 High level Unicorns (9 Females and 1 Male) on Official ASE Valguero over my 4+ years on the server... Bred them and gave a few away to friends who'd visit! They actually have 1 male and 1 female on the map at a time. Once you kill or tame one, the same gender will eventually spawn again, in a random Equus spawn location. Ark trolled me for a few months, which is why I had 9 Females, and only 1 Male. The male I tamed is still one of the highlights of my Ark adventure! (I try to block out the 150 level male I had to 95% before it was eaten by a pack of Raptors!!!!)

My son was playing my Asa, I said “it’s a unicorn, tranq it!” Pulled out the assault rifle…
It's a passive tame, so both methods would have screwed it up.
Either way wouldnt have worked
First time I found a unicorn, I brought it to a trap in my base with an argy. Rode it and kicked me off. Forgot to set my wolves to passive and the unicorn disintegrated

We have tamed probably a dozen Liopleurodons on official ASA in the past month or so.. the drop boost is absolutely OP imo and the O2 buff is a must have for underwater raids...we tame every one we see.

Yeah this got me all fucked up. Was wrong about phoenix and unicorn and a lot of others. I gave it a thumbs down.
Heres the real rarity list (for official)
1. Zombie dodo (people fight the dodo wyvern more because its easier and the dodorex is stronger due to the fire doing based off health % but usually people that os experienced use turrets on the dodowyvern rather than dodo rex)
2. Zombie wyvern
3. Fenrir (this is only rarer than lio because this came out when ark wasnt in its prime)
4. Lio (nobody wants this)
5. Titanosaur (literally takes 3k+ cannon balls but i seen less lios than this)
6. Phoe
7. Forest titan (hardest titan to tame for people with not as good aim as the more experienced players)
8. Ice titan
9. Unicorn (i seen this so many times)
10. Desert titan (too easy to tame and summon)
Nice via man. Just a couple of quick things here:
1. Server admins have an ini setting they can use to allow more than one wild unicorn at a time.
2. Server admins have ini settings to allow titans (the ones from Extinction and the titanosaur) to eat from troughs normally, thus they stay forever. I believe there may also be settings to allow for more than one tamed per ttitan.

Unicorn spawns one at a time on the map. When one is tamed or killed, another will spawn after a time. When Valguero first launched, there was a spot where unicorns would often spawn. I had three total after a while.
As I remember the Phoenix was the first creature that was able to smelt metal. But I'm sure it drops silica pearls instead of feces. XD
And black pearls
and the second dino after that on genesis 1 "magmasaur" can also smelt metal / grill some meat
Ok I'm going to defend the phoenix cause it's a good way to get silica which is essential for electronics and certain saddles
I still remember the very first time I decided to play ARK on official servers. I spawned in on The Island, you know the location, that lip in the south, and I look around and see a Unicorn a few meters away from me. I thought "huh, so I guess this game has more than just dinos then". Little did I know I saw at the time the rarest creature on my first few seconds of playing lmao

I can say that I have got everything on this list haha at some point.
And still have the ASE server from official as a downloaded save.
Highest zombie wyvern I got was a level 420. But officially max LVL was 450. So it would only level up 30 times before been capped.
Safe to say. I am in the 0.1% haha
(And yes I did all these on official)
After the network shut down, we added soul balls to "cryo" titans haha.
The information regarding a Unicorn is totally wrong and the entire community gets it wrong. 2 or 3 can spawn on Ragnarok, 4 can Spawn on Crystal Isles. The Center doesn't have them at all, and there are 2 on Valguero. The Island is the only story map (maybe they're on Genesis?) Once tamed or killed more will spawn, the same as any other creature. I think there are multiples on FJord and Lost Island as well, but honestly I can't remember as I don't play those maps much.
The reality is they used to be rare, but not anymore.
Liopleuredons again, super common on CI. Usually 3 on the Island. The Liop's "buff" is inconvenient because it doesn't just buff the crate, it actually changes the loot in it. This can be tested with admin commands, or awesome spyglass. As an example, I had seen an ASC Basilosaur Saddle BP in a drop with the Spyglass the other day and then when I opened the crate it was full of some crap Ghillie or something.
It's a shame about the zombie stuff. WC actually would remove all the holiday assets when the holiday was over, and then they stopped supporting ASE altogether and now most of the events are broken if you try to activate them on a private server.
I wish they had added assets like the DodoRex and Bunnyraptors back in the game files before abandoning this game.
You can break the corrupted nodes on the desert titan by letting it strike itself with its own lightning. It's basically free once you get a quetz.
Rag was perfect for seeing unicorns in ase in the highlands
I just got into ARK and was running around, stumbled on the unicorn but thought it was just an equus. Tamed it and realized what it was and wondered why I couldn’t find more. Guess I know now 🤣

Don’t forget the Aberrant dimorphodon. It may sound weird but they actually exist and do spawn. But their chances of spawning are sooo slim. There even isn’t a guarantee for one to spawn per Dino wipe like lios and unicorns. Also the liopleurodon is not as rare as people think. I’ve seen dozens of them. Heck, I recently joined a server to play the island recent and found two together.
I still have legitimate zombie wyverns on my Xbox single player. I played through the game and defeated all the maps, and once I was finished, I didn't want to delete all of my data and start over because there were some dinosaurs that I really loved and never wanted to lose. Plus, I had awesome breeding lines that my friends would often pick from to bring back to their own maps.
I simply used another Xbox account in order to play the game over, again. My original account is loaded with a lot of those super rare creatures.
I have had 2 unicorns and both died to either a rex or another hostile tame. Ive found 3 phoenixs in my 7 years of ark and tamed 2 and i found 7 lioplurodons when i was talking about them with my friend that was newer in the same ocean run, i was flabbergasted and he though i was lying about their rarity.
Also you should be able to tame fenrirs in jotunheim but I think they might be smaller then the one you get from the boss
in my current world on the island i found the unicorn right around my spawn point and it was my first tamed creature
Only 1 unicorn can be wild at a time. Once tamed or killed another wild will spawn
However ASA unicorns have baby unicorns to make taming easier lol
Yep, I once had one spawn near my base on Lost Island and the stupid thing got itself eaten by a Rex just as I was about to grab it with an Argy. Then a very short time later another one spawned fairly close by.
I’ve had everything but the zombie dodo on official, also unicorns when you take one a new one will spawn so you can have multiple
I would have thought the Reaper would have made this list. I've had several unicorns, killed the titans, seen lots of Liopleurodons, tamed a Titanosaur solo, even seen a few phoenix's but never got around to being impregnated by a reaper. That one is rarer for me.
Reapers are a bit hard to tame ig but because of how good they are so many people tame them which would be the reason why the wouldn’t make this list I think

Zombie wayverns spawn like crazy on my center map. And are insanely vicious.
The problem I had with my zombie wyverns is that you can't ride on them so they're literally just base decorations if I don't want to risk them flying away. I love them still but it's a sad story for my zombie wyverns
Main reason I bought my ps5 was to play asa. I’m not regretting it one bit. Yea having more maps would be good. I don’t know much about official due to I don’t have the time to devote to it like I hear. So I stick unofficial. But there’s a couple on here that I didn’t bother to tame in ase, so more then likely I won’t be doing it on asa
How to know every single dinos loved food to tame it? I mean without dododex or internet. Im offline player, just i should try try and keep trying every item food for taming? 😢

You can definitely have multiple Unicorns tamed. Once one is tamed or dies another can spawn.
How are the titans more common than the pheonix I've tamed it 3 times since 8 started playing the titans only once each
1 unicorn per map ever had been a very long debunked myth. Eliminate one, another will spawn.
First time playing Ragnarok I killed a unicorn by mistake, not knowing it was rare
Iv tamed multiple lea.or i call the water leprechaun. This thing will make all trops give ascendant loot. Great if you run caves often. Also when i tame one i let other tribes come and get the buff. They so easy to tame. Iv seen multiple at once on the island
if fenrir was cloneable or breedable, it'd be a lot better. the effort to get it is really taxxing. its uses and utility are great but its combat traits aren't worth the risk in losing it, which sucks because its abilities are really cool. It's one of the coolest creatures in the game imo, hoping it gets more of a rework in ASA to make it worth it.
I dint know how rare unicorns were and I found three of them in the past and just moved on😂

Liopleurdons aren’t that hard to find if you spend enough time in oceans in single player. I saw them several times in The Island and Ragnarok. Once I even saw another one after I tamed one.

I do laps around The islands ocean for black pearls like 2-3 times a week, and I will kill the liopleurodon 3 times in that one lap. It’s really not that uncommon to see if you’re always in the ocean.

Lol bs if you really want it you can either learn how to get it yourself or trade for it. Me and my friend hunted Phoenix because she loved to collect them and as a result traded them for other rare stuff. We got zombie wyverns and dodos from evolved Halloween events. But the servers gone now sooo…
The only one of these I got without commands was the unicorn I was just flying round vaguero trying to find a denonicus( I know I can’t spell) and I found it I did force tame it but at least I found it instead of spawning it in also I left it for like two seconds to do something and when I got back it was gone
Had the Leopluredon I found it easy to find and tame over found 14

I had 2 leoploradons in 1 spawn area at the same time.
all i haved. IMO more rare tames was snow/lava golem tamed or abberant araneo, abb dimorph, abb electrophorus, abb manta or trilobite, leechs, lamprey, onyc than titans
i heard if you cryopod the short lasting tames you can keep them forever just make sure nothing happens to the cryopod

if your saying titanosaur is rare because its a pain to tame go look at the big turtle from gen or rock golem, the titans should notnbe on the list besides ice titan i actually agree with that one could not tame it with my tribe, fear evolved will more than likely return in asa
Unicorn was literally my first tame my first time on rag🤣🤣🤣 I've literally tamed everything on this list more then a handful of times. Can't wait till I'm 100% on trophies for ASA like I am on ASE

I was taking a wild unicorn to a safer place to tame it. Half way to my base, I noticed I had dropped it. By the time I found it, it had already drowned. Why can't I have good things!?
P.S. I was flying over the ocean. Thats how it drowned
Unicorns r rare on current maps but with cloning and breeding its pretty easy to get and alot do get.
Yes because titans that are spawned for boss fights at the players' discretion is harder to find than a unicorn with 0.01% of spawning.................... you can't count the titans as something rare when the titanasaur is almost a guaranteed spawn and the titan bosses are bosses so they only spawn when players do the oboelisk thing.
You must not spend alot of time in the water haha . 2 in 7 years for number 4 ? I saw over 10 of those in the last week . I did tame 1 to get bonus on the loot drop but yeah i agree no 1 tame those and it last 3p mins so yeah it make sence its in the list.

I have had all of those tamed at one time or others except for the fish not which I didnt really want in the first place the titans I have tamed all of them several times the wyverns yes I probably still have then on a saved game in AS somewhere most of those tames ar pretty useless now
The Phoenix is the easiest to tame you fly around with a parasour on detection and it will show you where the phonix spawns build a box and then tame it ez

bit unfair to include creatures that are not perminate tames, althoguh in saying that it is possible to get the zombie ones still on ASE [not sure on ASA] since for single players and private servers you can set if an event is happening and what one just not on official anymore

I must be one of those 0.1% of Ark players because I already had all the dinos in the video, on the official server playing solo on Ark Survival Evolved (and Fenrir doesn't have a random level, the level depends on the difficulty of the boss)
On ase rag912 I found 4 unicorns in 1 day 150 145 135 and 125 when we were a tribe called twa

I literally tamed a phoenix in Crystal isles and then i deleted the game data and didnt upload it instead
