The mach 1 is simply beautiful, especially with the handling package. It looks incredible with the GT500 wing, and that massive front splitter. There was a orange mach 1 with the handling pack at my local Ford dealership's showroom when I went in for an oil change three months ago. I think it was a customer build who didn't want it, and was being sold for $65k. Beautiful car, but not worth getting if you plan on modifying your Mustang. I bought a brand new 2020 GT Premium PP1 last year in velocity blue for $50,960. It has a lot of options, including the 400A package with the digital gauge cluster and Michelin pilot sport 4s tires; minus the magnaride suspension, and B&O sound system. The first thing I did to it was install Corsa Extreme catback exhaust with the active valve system. It was worth the $2,300 price tag a thousand times over. The car just sounds ridiculously good now, and the tips look similar to the mach 1's as well. I can even add a roush supercharger + cold air intake down the road, and it will be the same, if not less than the mach 1 I saw at the dealer. So all in all, for collection purposes, the mach 1 is a good addition. For fun, I'd go with a PP1 anyday.
In the US, the MSRP difference between a comparable 2021 GT Premium 301A/401A PP1 MR vs Mach 1 600A/700A is around $5-6k USD. Casual buyers aren't used to seeing the price of a fully loaded GT PP1 MR and don't realize how much they cost for comparison. Whats the s for if you have sport mode don't really get it . Let's say if you put it on sport plus mode and put it on s does that make the response faster instead leaving it in drive meaning leave it in d and sport mode
The simplest way to explain it is- Drive Mode Sport: Sport Steering, Suspension, Exhaust, and Transmission S on shifter: Sport shifting, manual mode activated by paddles
@@JVette01 but you can put the shifter on s and drive auto. Does it make a difference if your in spots mode either have shifter in d or s is my question
@@umairejaz6665 If you have it in D on the shifter, you can use the paddles to shift manually but it will switch back to automatic after a few seconds of you not shifting. If you put it in S on the shifter you can still drive it as an automatic... but if you use the paddles it will *not* shift back. Also, S gives you faster shifts that D in general, when you're in normal mode. (If you're in Sport+, that's not a factor for S vs D, but the paddle differences are.) If you're going to just drive in automatic, the S-vs-D thing is pointless on the 20xA / 40xA cars, which come with the row of drive switches- the drive mode switch will change transmission, exhaust, throttle, steering, and magneride with one control. On the 10xA / 30xA cars that do *not* have those, you'll need to change everything separately- steering mode switch on the dash, transmission from D to S, and exhaust / magneride with the steering wheel controls. (Though I'm not sure whether you can get the active exhaust or magneride on those cars in the first place.)
Manual in the Mach 1 is MUCH better than a normal GT. The Auto is the same for both. Reliability has been iffy with the GT manual, and the automatic has been ok, some people just don’t like the quirky characteristics.

My 2021 Mustang GT premium was a big lemon. I could live with the cheap plastic interior and glitchy electronics but the 6 speed manual transmission was just garbage! I'm not the only one who thinks so, look at the class action that has been launched against Ford. Fortunately I was able to sell it and buy a real car from another manufacturer. It's no wonder Ford stopped building cars...I'll never buy another Ford...EVER!
If you did your research, you would’ve known that the MT-82 does have the best track record. Either get the automatic, or get the Mach 1 with the Tremec manual.

There is a mole (or moles) at Ford corporation overseeing the mustang design and disallowing the “mustang flag” to be raised high as the “American original muscle car king”. Whats the s for if you have sport mode don't really get it . Let's say if you put it on sport plus mode and put it on s does that make the response faster instead leaving it in drive meaning leave it in d and sport mode
The simplest way to explain it is-
Drive Mode Sport: Sport Steering, Suspension, Exhaust, and Transmission
S on shifter: Sport shifting, manual mode activated by paddles
@@JVette01 but you can put the shifter on s and drive auto. Does it make a difference if your in spots mode either have shifter in d or s is my question
No
@@umairejaz6665 If you have it in D on the shifter, you can use the paddles to shift manually but it will switch back to automatic after a few seconds of you not shifting.
What intercooler is in front of the driver side front wheel on the Mach 1?
Not sure. I know it has a trans, oil, and diff cooler though.
great show and very well explained thank you
You’re welcome!
Would the 0-60 differ between the manual or automatic? Also would the reliability change between the two? What would you choose?
Manual in the Mach 1 is MUCH better than a normal GT. The Auto is the same for both. Reliability has been iffy with the GT manual, and the automatic has been ok, some people just don’t like the quirky characteristics.
For those two factors I'd go for the GT with 10 speed.
Gee, look at that. A Ford dealer with good size inventory, a month ago. Bet that lot is near empty now.
You are 100% correct.
*Nice video man,I go with Mach1 just because of the transmission,to me rest it’s all bs,big spoiler, front lip and wider ugly wheels $10-15k more for that I don’t do track anyway*
Id probably get a gt or a used bullitt
Ngl really good vid
Hate those Recaro seats. They would only work if you are short, otherwise your head is on the ceiling.
😂
Honestly same, and it’s about $1,000 cheaper with the regular leather ones
You can't go wrong withe either car. All of these Mustangs are budget super cars.
Mach 1!!!!
Worse gas mileage also probably tied to 20 additional hp on the Mach.
It has more horsepower Mach 1 480hp, I bet just a bit more toque I’m not sure. But yes more more more gas consumption
The torque is the same. I’m assuming the MPG loss is from the additional coolers but I’m not sure.
I sold my 18gt pp2 for 30k to get the 21gt fully loaded
Congrats!
I’m in 2022 the future. GT performance pack is now $7300
It’s 6700 now.. yikes
Used GT350 > Mach 1. Not even close. A GT350 is the only S550 I'd buy. The GT, Bullitt and Mach 1 are the same thing with tiny differences.
Fair enough!
Ask the sales dept if you can get the Mach 1 with X plan. So for $56K GT PP, M240i, or buy my EB PP at the end of the lease for $19K?
You can call and ask. I’m not a salesman so I don’t know
You can compare Mach1 and Bullitt
We don’t have any bullitts. If we did, I’d try to make that happen!
I LOVE THE gt bETTER
PP1 for me.
0-60?
They’re pretty much the same. Maybe 0.1 of a second advantage to the Mach 1. Just look up the bullitt times.
@@JVette01 The bullitt wasn't offered in the 10speed or at least I dont remember it being offered. I was wondering about auto's time.
The Mustang GT 10-Speed usually does around a 12.1 1/4 @ 118. Is assume the Mach 1 would (maybe) crack into the 11’s @ around 119-120mph.
GREAT VEDIO 🎥 YOU BROKE IT DOWN I SUBSCRIBED TO YOUR CHANNEl
Thanks!
When is Ford going to get the mustang on equal ground with the camaro and challenger, power wise
Umm... the Mustang GT has 460 and Mach 1 has 480? The Challenger has 485 but the Camaro is at 455.
@@JVette01 it must then be the hellcats and zl1,I have seen and they cost a lot more
Yeah those compete with the Mustang GT500 which has 760 horsepower
@@kirkmonigold3099 camaro ZL1 has 650 hp. Hellcat has 707. Mustang gt500 has 760. Do you live under a rock ?
The fuk is that the gt looks more meaner then the Mach 1 that makes no sense. Literally about 10k more in 2022 this is y I am leaning more toward the Camaro 2SS. That shit look like a monster/demon.
MANUAL mach 1.
I know Vegas when I see it lol
😂😂
This is like deciding between blonde and black girls.. lol
Automatic Mach 1's make no sense!
they make dollars!
Pirellis lol
Too much money to spend on a car that’s going to sound like a typewriter
Lmao
Remove the “saboteur mole” from Ford Corporation. There is a mole (or moles) at Ford corporation overseeing the mustang design and disallowing the “mustang flag” to be raised high as the “American original muscle car king”. Remove those infiltrated moles at Ford who are paid off by Chevy and Dodge. Why is Chevy making ZL1s and Dodge making “demons” at high output while Ford seems to “always lag behind”. Something does not add up or align here folks. Something doesn’t jive. No sunroof or T Tops on Ford Mustangs. But they allow this with Chevy and Dodge? Hmmm 🧐? Something does not add up here folks. Bring out the moles at Ford and hang them at the gallows.
Should have cleaned the cars first lol
Still gt
TREMEC = Mach 1
Yes it does
Grab her yellow? Triggered. Lol jk jk
Not even a question...All Alpha Chad's already have the Mach 1. You virgins have the lesser, as you always will...
CATFISH MUSTANGS.
Lol
Pp1
There's no 1 and 2 any more with the PP. (Just the PP).
GT500 Front end takes the cake... especially the headlights are good
GT350 front like you meant?
@@StefBelgium I mean gt500!
@@richgenix so for you the Mach1 front looks like a GT500 and not a GT350?
@@StefBelgium nah I was saying the gt500 looks better in the front than both of them even the rear as well
@@richgenix can t agree more! The GT500 is just perfect.
