I've been lucky enough to see two full solar eclipses and they were incredible. I'm looking forward to seeing how this one dries. A gold sheen would be very cool, but I think I can see the brown - black even before it dries and that does feel appropriate for a color named after an eclipse.
When I thinned this stuff out for painting, I found that it really isn't brown at all... it's a fairly neutral grey... so I'm pretty sure that this is just a black, but with the complete bronze sheen, it looks brown when you write with it. I really like it! Reminds me of Dominant Industry Base Black, which does the same thing but a slightly different color sheen.
I got to see the eclipse earlier this year. It was really really cool and super weird at the same time. (It was the first time i'd been able to view one)
WHAT? IT'S NOT BLUE? What's going on? 🤣🤣🤣 I'm going to withhold judgement on this ink until tomorrow when it's dry. If it's got a golden sheen, that just might make up for some of the kinda-yawn week we had last week. Something I'm pondering - why do companies do Inkvents / Colorvents? (besides to sell us ink, hahaha) To me, the -vents should be special inks - festive inks - inks that make us go WOW!!! The idea being to celebrate the season. I don't think they intend them to be starter sets...although you could argue that this is a pretty nice starter set. But then again, it lacks depth in the "reds" and "greens" department. I'm hoping Colorverse is building up to huge finish! (Major the Cat said a quick hello as he was hitting about mach 6 full burner on the way to food bowl after it got filled...🚀) Hey Maria - You're doing great!🥰🥰🥰😍😍😍
I did this one when dry, and I also hope we're headed to a spectacular finish! It's a great question about why do companies do these. The one from Diamine feels more festive, and this one doesn't. It doesn't feel bad to me, but it's very different in tone and presentation. 🤔🥰

Two of them! Amazing! I was looking ahead and I think I have to plan to be in, was it Australia? In 2026? I don't remember now. 😅🤣🥰

Oh cool! Yeah I love this one a lot, which is interesting given that it's otherwise "basic". 🥰
I was able to see the total solar eclipse in April. It was amazing!! I’ll be curious about this ink once it dries. See you tomorrow!
Eclipses are so cool! Spoilers: I love it when dry. 🥰

Oh awesome! It's kind of unsettling. You can understand why there is so much folklore and superstition around them. 😅

Does it have a golden sheen?? Need to wait until tomorrow 😊
AGREED. If it's got a golden sheen...that would be amazing...waiting for tomorrow anxiously!
It's gorgeous! 🥰
