Laurie has worked out so many games on his own and then lost because no one believes him
@@TheLastSane1 don’t think this a fair assessment at all. Half the game is the information people have delivered and Adam and Carley did a fantastic job sewing misinformation and believably playing roles that fed into the narrative of the game, but the other half is social reads and yes I used ‘meme team’ to describe what I thought was going on but I was twigged by the way Carley jumped on things I was saying to say she’d made me drunk, even though I’d asked not to be made drunk. Then the thing with Adam and Isaac it was the way he came to me about it and tried to win me onside that made me suspicious. That plus my info lead me to, correctly I might add, come up with the conclusion that the evil team was Adam and Carley. It’s not about always thinking anyone is evil and going from there, most games I don’t trust anyone and in this one I put forward multiple possibilities of what might be going on, and came to the correct conclusion at the final moment when information and read aligned.
@@TheLastSane1 This is funny, seeing someone getting called out for being rude and then doing a full 180 as a result and trying to backtrack what they said by claiming it was a typo.
I think it's because Laurie is just not too vocal, I love Laurie, he is one of my favorites in the cast, but in this particular series, there's a lot of times where I feel like screaming: Laurie, say something, you have all the information, you can figure this out. but I won't go too hard on him cuz A. looking at the game from an outside perspective with all the information in front of you makes it look too easy so I might have done the same in his situation, B. with all the drunk and poisoning stuff it's hard to know which information is true, and C. it does look embarassing when you go too hard on a specific theory and it ends up being wrong so it's easy to get cold feet fearing that would happen
@@Blakestationone
Just getting round to watching these fabulous games and feel that it comes down to everyone back tracks when they have viable information because they feel they maybe drunk and instead of trying to work that out just scraps that information which later confuses them.
This showed on the final day when almost all could still be evil, as if no whittling it down had occurred to anyone of the townsfolk. Maybe just an off day for you all. x:x
Poor Laurie, he ALWAYS carries this game with his info gathering and no one ever follows through with believing him
2:56:50 is the moment the game was lost lol
Adam can only be nominated once in the final round, if you mess it up the game is lost,
Well Laurie managed to make himself look suspect as hell and then nominated Adam.
i am so pissed off with Blair
@@klen4569 None of this was Blair's fault, Laurie had all of the information to prove Carley was a minion but didn't communicate it.
@@RenewedRS multiple things pointed to Adam but Blair decided to make a vote on someone they had all pretty much agreed was the minion
@@klen4569 You know it is just a game right? It is easy to pass judgment when you know all the facts. Blair didn't. Seems valid to me to not fully trust Laurie and his information, and to get suspicious when Sully uses his ghost vote for an execution for which the argument might have seemed flimsy to her (had I not known that Adam was the demon, I think I too would have found the case against him a bit thin). In hindsight you can easily see that using your ghost vote on the last day of the game really shouldn't be a red flag, just common sense, which was pretty much what Sully was trying to state. But in a hectic game that calls for snap judgments, hindsight is not worth much except to learn from your mistakes I suppose. If you wanna be mad at Blair, you should also be mad at Rosie for voting with her, or Brooke and Jon for not voting for Adam initially, making it possible to either tie or overturn the vote so easily in the first place. I personally don't see the point in being mad at all at any of these lovely people, who put themselves out there to have a blast together and create lovely, lovely content for us all, just because they are not automatons who can always surmise all the correct facts. To me, it's entertaining either way. But's that's just me, I guess.
Rosie bluffing as the Fool for absolutely no reason is my favourite subplot. We need a game with Sully and Rosie as the evil team.
They'd loose night 1
If pacifist is a townsfolk, surely it should trigger at least once 😂
I think the reason she was bluffing was so they wouldn’t kill her bc she thought her character was super important even though I don’t think it got triggered??
@@Jellybeansatdusk she did trigger once, when they tried to execute her!
@@RhiannaLynx totally right! They were like, we’re going to go along with this pointless bit to make her seem valid 😂

@@adamgough9333 wait do you think that's long for a movie? Lol
Carley's last "defense" was pure genius. It was so weak, but not obviously weak. It was so good!
she also had a sudden slippage where she confirmed to laurie (and everyone) that she was a minion (and not demon). at first i thought it'll be a blunder for the evil team, but then i realized that it worked in their favor (cuz of the meta ahah). there were other little mistakes (like laurie picking adam and brooke or sully voting for adam out of nowhere)
Also, she specifically targeted Rosie so that she would also vote her out!
@@imsoconfused7684lol yes!!! I found it so funny that she baited her and she fell for it 🤣
@@ComedyGlorto be fair when the two best players in this game are on the same team it will be a blowout; especially with the good team having newer players
Carley and Adam learning they were playing on the evil team together was extremely wholesome content I didn’t know I needed today
They were both so happy.
Am I the only person who thinks they would be an absolutely adorable couple? Lol
Evilly Wholesome.
@@DTLSinger I'm certain that there is some attraction via one of them.
I'm a romantic. 🤗
I'm not shipping anyone, as RL shipping of people I personally don't know seems a bit creepy to me.
Having said that, what happened to the Adam/Blair ship?
I love how good Adam is at just going "we shouldn't kill anyone this round" but in a different way every time
"Oh, you want to execute an already dead player for the 3rd time? Brilliant idea!"
Literally it's just so obvious Adam and Carley were evil because of that. They never ever would've been okay with going 5 days without a single execution if they were good.
To be fair, Blair was the one that was super excited to go for it (though she probably wasn't serious). Carley's face when she said it showed that she was just super surprised to potentially get so lucky.
Adam has such a tell. He always has every possible scenario in mind unless he's evil, then he goes "oh sh**" all of a sudden.
Not sure about that... Look again at "Human Remains of the Day," the final vote. Adam is on the good team, and does the exact same thing (though his realization is a touch too late lol)
@@brockmarie yes, I was going to say that. In that particular case he cracks everything open but it’s the last vote and too late. I think Adam is very good at this game, and random enough to make him difficult to read. Also, when he was a lunatic, he figured it out immediately
@@doctordre3000 To be fair, the storytellers made it super obvious that he was a lunatic by giving him minions. I'm not sure if this script has a poppy grower, but you basically have to tell the lunatic that there's a poppy grower or else they're almost guaranteed to talk to their "minions" and realize that they're the lunatic.
@@TheFinalChapters not really? the lunatic is in base bmr, and you can absolutely give a lunatic "minions", but really the best way to make the lunatic think they're actually the demon is to give them evil players as minions, typically the actual demon and maybe one or two of that demon's minions. that way the good team is a player down because one of the good time is being strung along by the evils making them think they're legit
@@elliottbarker1595 Unless very specific criteria are met, the evil team won't throw themselves under the bus trying to convince the lunatic they're real.
I've definitely seen games where those criteria are met, but they are the exception, not the rule.
Jon continuing to trust Carly every time despite her always betraying him is pure Charlie Brown and Lucy. So good to see the evil team prevail here, great game!
That's y we love Jon
It is and then doubles down with Adam straight afterwards, he also didn't seem to come back to the options that Carley gave at the beginning to work out which was the most likely role especially as she first claimed the gossip without knowing there's a real gossip in town. If you have 2 folks claiming the same role then it's very likely that one of them will be evil. x:x
Anytime Jon and Carley chat in private, there's absolute Evil brewing, and later utter betrayal.
I would love to see Jon and Carley evil tbh
@@Thelunawolf731 that would be fun. They can continue to publicly clash but then secretly work together.
@@wahahabuh Especially if the script has a lunatic
@@wahahabuh ....
Lol the funny thing is I knew he was gonna immediately tell her his role bc last time he didn't trust her at all (despite her being good) so I knew he'd trust her this time despite the fact that he never should 😂 well he should never speak to her during games anyway
I love the fact that you can tell how long this game must've been by looking at Sullivan's window.
Dear goodness, indeed. And I reckon this game would be so difficult to play if you're already tired
I hadn't noticed that until you said it wow
Laurie I’m SO SO sorry mate, carried this game on his fucking back all the way to the finish line only to have his teammates trip him up inches from victory. He was SO CLOSE
He tripped at the finish line by nominating Adam when the others were sitll unsure. This made it very likely that the ghost votes would waver and then have to vote for whoever Blair picked.
Hell, if Sully hadn't voted for Adam, then Adam could have literally nominated anyone, vote along with the minion to make it a tie of 2, and then laugh all the way to the goal.
Laurie calls Carley and Adam and there is still 1 hour 10 mins left!!!! My word.
Group: Bullies Sully for voting Adam.
Adam wins as evil.
Group: I knew it!
Excuse me...
To be fair, Isaac was the one who said it, and he had already used his ghost vote on a previous round.
@@intergalactic92 Brooke and Laurie said it too and Isaac used his ghost vote on Adam
@@Wuzwrongwitdatdolla Laurie literally nominated Adam
@@OffTheCuff444 Ok, that still doesn’t negate what I said
@jetsflyingoffatrain4338 What I said was the truth, dummy.
Pro tip. If you want an editor to hate you, put a Zombuul and a Mastermind in your filmed game of Blood on the Clocktower.
Oh no..😬
Huh, I could have sworn it was random…
@@davidweir1502 I’m pretty sure that the storytellers exerted some control over which characters are in the game. With BMR only being played three times, you want to feature a different Demon each game, for instance. They never claimed that those decisions are random.
What they are saying is that the assigning of the characters to the players were random. There’s a difference.
@@davidweir1502 The Storyteller pretty much always chooses which characters are in play. They then put the tokens they've selected into a bag and the players each take a role from it. So while the characters are never random (as that would be impossible to do, given that certain numbers of townsfolk, minions etc. are required), the players who play them are.
And then add in the Pacifist for good measure! :D I shudder to think how many hours these games must take to edit considering there must be between three to four hours of uncut footage from each player every game...
Props, NRB editor! (James?)
I'm not even 12 minutes in but the sheer joy of both Carley and Adam after finding out that they finally get to be evil together really shows that this is the one they have been waiting for, I'll be leaving a like for their happy faces alone 😁
There should be an ongoing monthly installment of this. I realize that the group has other things they wish to do, but this is too good to let it die on the vine. I would rather watch this than pretty much anything on TV. If you agree with me, please give this a thumbs up.
I wrote this before seeing Adam mention the "custom script" for next month. I can't wipe the smile off of my face. Let's keep encouraging this content. It is outstanding. Kudos to the No Rolls Barred team and a heartfelt THANK YOU for all the work you have put into this. It's absolutely brilliant...signed a fan in Dallas, Texas.
They've been playing this monthly for over 8 months now. Lol
@@Centrifuze I realize that they have been doing this for several months. I am simply stating that they should continue (ongoing). It appeared that they were going to do a trilogy of each script, with this being the last. It wasn't until the end of this video that Adam mentioned that they were going to continue with custom scripts.
Agreed 1000000%! These games are always so so so good.
I'm a huge D&D fan who has been the primary DM for my group of friends for many years. As a DM who values storytelling ability and sucking players in to the drama or tension if a moment just using your voice, Tom is an absolutely incredible storyteller. His delivery and tone are perfect, and he really elevates what is already a phenomenally entertaining show.
Someone asked on a Wrestletalk podcast of there would be a "DnD or TTRPG" on NRB and Adam replied 'watch this space'. Really hoping we get DM Tom!
@@maxgustafsson7802 maybe the return of CBW?
I always find it humorous, but are you under the impression that your little backstory improves your credibility or expertise on the matter? I ask bc your sentence and sentiment would do much more if you just edited that out and stated your opinion. Including the first part only makes it seem more delusional. Here I did it for you: Tom is an absolutely incredible storyteller. His delivery and tone are perfect, and he really elevates what is already a phenomenally entertaining show. End of comment. You are welcome.
@@switters8679 Credibility and Expertise aren't the only reasons to share a "little backstory" (Super condescending btw). Relatability and Context are also good reasons, and on the former especially I'd say that brandonvangieson's comment is perfect just as is.
@@switters8679 lmao you’re funny I don’t know how you don’t understand why they added the fact they’re a DM. They added that to say “as a fellow story teller I really appreciate Tom being a great story teller.” You made a comment that made you look very silly lol.

Isaac: suspicious of Blair and Laurie.
Carley:
It's so weird. The first game Isaak played his reads were absolutely dead on and he seemed like a genius good player. Since then it seems like every single game he's WAY off.
Though this game he definitely did better than most of the village. Really only Laurie did better.
This had to be the best way to end this "season". Its like an anime story arch: Adam and Carley at each other's throats pretty much the entire time, trusting each other last game, and then winning together in the finale
To quote a famous Lawrence: Random my ass.

Sully and Rosie are the 2 silliest people, and I just want to be their friend. SO WHOLESOME
We need Sock Puppet Brooke, so we can have The Sock Puppet Sully Show!
In fact why not have a Sooty Show type show where Sock Puppet Sully, Sock Puppet Brooke and Evil Sock Puppet Carly cause mayhem for Flesh Sully in a series of mildly wacky adventures?

snatching defeat from the jaws of victory
she ruined the game
As someone that always roots for the Evil team, this was the most tense and gratifying episode yet. A fitting way to end the Trilogy Trilogy
I think Laurie made one crucial error, right at the end: when Blair asked whether he would like to nominate first or second, he should have asked to go second. I suspect in that sort of situation -- especially with so much confusion, so many unknowns -- people sitting on a vote are likely to hold on to it for the second nomination, to see whether there's a better argument coming. And then, if they haven't voted upfront, they're likely to vote for the second nomination, so that they can feel that they've participated, and haven't thrown away their vote through inaction.
You're exactly right. It let the evil team spin a tale, any tale, that painted someone else as the "real" demon and then all evil team needed was one vote (aside from demon and minion).
Also not going privately into a room with the other alive person to try and discuss their thoughts together without the dead messing their minds up. x:x
I got so frustrated for Laurie that no one believed him lol Blair is so sweet but really did a number of helping evil win lol. Well done evil team
It's so easy for people to forget that Demon starts with 3 bluffs. If you really trust someone as good, then that's evidence for Demon, not Minion. If there's any chance they aren't waking up in the night and you didn't exorcise them, guess what that means.... Nobody listened to Laurie, sadly, but he had evidence Carley is a Minion that likely doesn't wake (which means not DA, thus Blair and Rosie are solid good team). It's really a shame Blair didn't use her big brain opening strategy to drunk herself when she knew Laurie would test her and Carley. She tunneled into "I must choose someone else." for the rest of the game, sadly. I was initially so impressed she thought to do that. Most players don't even realize they can pick themselves as Sailor and just horseblinds into picking people they suspect.
Well played, Adam. You would've had a very different game if everyone actually listened to Jon's solid advice of actually trying to execute players every day. I was in a game once or twice where the Zombuul is straight bullied and never gets to kill. One time, they lost because we double-tapped on a hunch. You had free reign that game, but you played well. It's crazy how much town just steers in the direction Adam and Carley drove them. It went from "We 100% need to check Zombuul." to "Let's kill Rosie, the soft confirmed Pacifist!" so easily.
Adam’s pure regret after killing flesh Sullivan and hearing sock Sullivan.
For the wrestling fans, Jon is genuinely the Sting of NRB, perennial babyface who trusts too easily and gets turned on in the end lol what a bit

I can't get over how awesome Carley is
THIS is why I subbed to this channel... 3 hours of wonderful blood on the bloody clocktower!
I know that this is the finale planned for this series, but man I reeeeally hope they don't leave Blood on the Clocktower behind. It went from a game I didn't have much interest in, to my favorite thing on the channel. A good portion of what pushed me over the edge to being a Patron is getting more bonus BotC videos. This whole series from top to bottom has been incredible.
They're gonna do custom scripts, were good
Yeah man. Looking forward to the Sects & Violets and Bad Moon Rising Patreon exclusives. The Trouble Brewing one was great.
Yeah! Literally why I also became a Patron!
Just the fact that we’ve had sea shanties and an Elvis cover alone makes this one of the best episodes of BotC
The song Laurie parodied was lonely this Christmas. Hate to be that guy but as a massive Elvis fan .... Elvis didnt sing it. It was a band called Mud
i wish i had friends like this to play board game with. Most of my boardgames i just look at and imagine playing them with friends i dont have
I would play with you!
Yes! Custom script next month. Top stuff everyone, keep up the good work. I'm so on board.
Side note: I'm playing in a game of BMR tomorrow night and this has been a world class display on how not to play as the good team... and they STILL almost won it!!! God, this game is amazing.
The fact that they've been playing this for months now and still don't kill one person during the day is just so absurd to me!
@@143shanks I think part of it is breaking the habit instilled by playing Werewolf. In Werewolf, death is the end and you've either killed a good player or an evil player. Everything in your mind is saying you absolutely want to stay alive.
With Clocktower, as the tagline says, death is only the beginning, you need to execute early to gain information before there are so few of you left that you can't afford to be incorrect.
@@Wooderz245 precisely...
Not killing anyone doesn't help the good team in any scenario at all..
May be because they are not yet too versed with all the roles and what exactly can they do with certain roles has something to do with it
But nevertheless I do enjoy their videos a lot!
3 hours! Daddy Ben coming through for us all to put my uni starting misery aside
