- In this cake decorating tutorial we are going to do something a lottle different! This time we are doing a sculpted cake! How fun:) I will show you how to sculpt, buttercream and cover this shape. Also I will show you how to make sugar popcorn! Here we go!

I absolutely love this cake! You make it seem so simple. I'm going to try and create it in chocolate. I like cakes that you can eat all of it and it all tastes good. So I don't do fondant. But Brava, Mary!! Good job!

How many serving would you get from this? What size cakes would you advise for 20 kids … 8 year old’s party
This was a large one, so it would serve at least 30. Maybe use 3 7 or 8" pans. Kids don't eat a lot of cake at a party from my experience:)

Wondering since you did 6”7”8”9” if I could do just the 6”7”8” ? I usually would put a board half way up so I get 2 shorter cakes when cutting , if that would give me a good taper and feed the 20 kids?
I love watching your work, look forward to it!! I didn't know they had a mold. I just recently did popcorn by hand! Came out really cute tho. I found doing 2 parts a ball and a small flat disc with little bits cut out or pressed in and attached that to the ball with a sculpting to create that hole in the bottom
