  • Hello mga kababayan panoorin nyo po ang bago kong video kung paano gumawa ng hopiang baboy. Napakadali at pwede rin gawing negosyo. Enjoy watching mga kababayan.
    Ingredients:
    1st Dough:
    2 cups all purpose flour
    1/2 cup water
    1/2 cup vegetable oil
    1/2 tsp salt
    2nd Dough:
    1 1/2 cup all purpose flour
    1/2 cup white sugar
    1/2 cup shortening or lard
    Filling:
    1/2 cup vegetable oil
    1 medium size onion
    1 1/2 cup white sugar
    1 1/2 cup all purpose flour
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/2 cup + 1 tbsp milk

      Parehas lng din ito ng ibang hopia, sa palaman lng nagkaiba. Masyado kasing strong ang bread flour para gamitin sa hopia kaya i suggest na all purpose flour ang gamitin mo kabayan. God bless

      Dahil na rin sa lard and ung palaman nya na onion parang medyo lasa syang may baboy kabayan.

      Originally, the Chinese recipe used pork lard rendered from pork fat which you can do yourself at home; now commercial vegetable shortening and lard are available in grocery stores. Others use oil for the convenience and instead of the original ingredient of green onions, onion bulb is being used and kundol candy was eliminated.

      Sadyang ganyan lng po ang ingredients nya, cguro sa shortening na rin at onion kya lasang hopiang baboy.

      As explained above, original Chinese recipe used solid pork fat (lard) from fried taba or langis ng baboy, cooled till white solid for use in baking...this can be done at home. Now recipes use vegetable shortening or pork lard from grocery stores.

      Kapag pinaabot po kasi sya ng 2 days pa sa ref bka medyo tumigas na sya kaya i suggest after an hour imold nyo na po sya kabayan

      @@marjorieong245 Originally, Chinese version used pork lard (manteca ng baboy); now we have commercial vegetable shortening and lard, but for other cooks, oil is very convenient to use. Green onion originally used is now substituted with onion bulb and kundol candy was eliminated.

    Kung wala po kyong lard puede gumawa ng mantika ng baboy salain nyo lng mantika. Saka talagang pong sibuyas lng ang sangkap ng hopiang baboy kahit mag ask po kyo sa lahat ng bakery

      Dapat sana ang pangalan pala ay hopiang sibuyas or hopiang gatas at harena,hindi hopiang baboy, or ano kaya sa ingredients ang galing sa baboy?😊 I'm just wondering kasi bakit pinangalanan nilang hopiang baboy yan. Kung paano gumawa ng hopiang baboy.. pinanood ko nman ang video pro bakit parang may na miss yta sa recipe.. yung salitang baboy.. inulit ko pa ung video pro talagang walang nilahok na baboy.. naghanap din ako ng iba png video ng hopiang baboy pero ganon din walang mga baboy kundi SIBUYAS MANTIKA at ASUKAL lng ang hinalo .. just asking lng po .. ibig ko po kc gumawa rin.

      Hello po kabayan, talaga pong wala syang halong baboy pero kapag kinain nyo po sya para po kayong may malalasahan na baboy. Dahil sa pinaghalong sibuyas at may lard or shortening sa dough naglalasa syang konting baboy.

      Buy taba ng baboy, fry without oil para lumabas lahat ang manteca till the taba is crispy. Collect the pork oil and cool down to turn to white solid pork lard....this is how the Original Chinese recipe is done; they used chopped green onions instead of onion bulb and chopped kundol candy.
      Grocery Stores sell them ....Baking Section Aisle as Shortening and Lard.
