- Sharing how I am putting together my slow stitch fabric book including how I am using an old sheet for my pages and how I lay out the fabric signatures.
The book I’m putting together is my Dictionary pf Stitches from the #stitchalong I hosted last year which featured an A to Z of different stitches and embroidery techniques including ribbon embroidery and cross stitch.

Your beautiful book will serve to be a lovely trip down memory lane for you. As well as being a useful stitch inspiration, it will be a reminder of the community that came together at all different times of day and night across the world to learn new stitches and be amongst people who share our love of stitching. Thank you for the time you took to make the videos, you weren't afraid to show us if you struggled with a stitch, and I'm sure that gave confidence to many of us to just have a go and try it, it's only fabric and thread after all. Thank you also to the other ladies who joined in and made it such a fun experience. We need to do it again soon! ❤💐

Yaaay! I’ve been trying to do mine, initially on a wood 🧵 spool but it seems to be too bulky with the fabric I used for the stitches. I have a book now and thank you, as always, sweet Christine to the rescue! The 4- squarish format is a great idea!
As you were flipping through the pages,it brought back many good memories… we had fun! Thank you for that too.

Beautiful! Mine will be pretty simple, more to use as a reference. I still have a lot of work ahead before my dictionary of stitches is finished.

Hello - I will be sure to share that step as soon as I am up to that stage. I’m planning to stitch the signatures onto a piece of fabric and then attach that fabric to the inside spine of the book and cover with glue. Cheers, Christine
