- Video tutorial from Jen Best of Beaker Button showing you how to make a crosswheel Dorset Button, the easiest Dorset button to make. You will need a closed ring, a length of strong thread or sock yarn 100x the width of the rings diameter (so a 25mm ring will need 2.5m of thread), scissors, and a blunt needle. See www.beakerbutton.co.uk for more Dorset button goodness.
Thank you - it doesn't half make a difference having someone show you how to do this lovely craft than reading it from a book. Love the accent. Thank you.
Thank you :-)
Truly beautiful and most clear explanation. Thank you so much.
Just wondering, how are your rings made? I couldn't see a weld point but they look very solid.
A very nice simple, and clear to see what your doing, video👍Thank you, I feel confident to try this now. God Bless🙏🏻💖
Glad it's useful. Thank you for the feedback
Great tutorials thank you ,I have made some many years ago but forgot how.
Thankyou. A very clear tutorial.
@BeakerButtons this video is beautifully done, thank you! Is there any chance you could do one for the heart-shaped buttons please as we are now struggling with those?
I make my heart buttons the same way as the round ones. The only difference is I squash the stitches around the ring more. I start in the top left bump of the heart, at the point I would wrap down for my first spoke. I also ski the short spike that forms from the dip between the bumps at the top of the heart.
Gracias 👌🏾 🙋🏾♀️
Olá vc pode me falar se agulha de bordado e a linha é de croche quantos metros de linha eu uso?!
About 100 x the width of the button.
Very beautiful!!
