@Divyajyot Shukla These social problems primarily arise due to people strongly identifying themselves with mental constructs like caste, religion, race, language, region, etc. This is more of a psychological problem and our education doesn't have anything to address this. I have seen so many well educated people who still identify themselves with such mental constructs.
In my observation, there are a few things that can overcome this problem, at least to some extent:
1. An environment where you meet people of different backgrounds, work with them, party with them, help/get help, without having any scope to express/exercise your caste, religion, race, language or any such identifications.
2. Focussing on something, that is or becomes more important than your identity.
3. Meditation, which overtime will create a distance between you and your thoughts/emotions.
In past we had social division, but now we have official division by gov in the name of caste/religion based reservation. Divisiveness is so deep rooted that it can never go away. Atleast constitution should not be divisive but still constitution gives more right and benefits to lower caste (even ultra rich lower caste) & minority religions and ignores poor of upper caste, rather treating all poor same. Reservation is a joke system which is total failure from last 73 years and still no political party have dare to remove it. Reservation system has produced low productivity staff in gov departments and created very dirty politics & burocracy. A big reason why I left India and never want my children to go through that crap of injust.

Also it various widely, there's a lot of inequality in quality of education the more well off people go to better schools and can obtain quality of education. While poorer or Middle section of society gets average or below average quality. It's sad reality.

@@blad_3 not exactly, for example agricultural workers arent taxed and the majority of our labor force is in this field, so they dont get taxed, then theres different thresholds like maybe only those beyond 5 lakhs a year should pay a certain share of taxes so that cuts the number down more and then even if they dont pay income tax, tax through sales like gst apply for everyone depending on purchasing power

That tax statistic is really demoralizing, shows how patriotic we Indians truly are! Feels like the creamy layer is on a mission to suppress the poor and the proletariat and increase the divide...

Wrong on taxes.... when we purchase a toothpaste soap two wheeler cooking oil we pay mrp price which is inclusive of taxes. We pay road tax. We pay entertainment tax. So each and every citizen is paying some sort of tax everyday. Now we pay gst also on services. And we also pay toll tax apart from paying road tax. So that 1 guy is not a special who pay income tax.
And reach people have always been given more than necessary by this country.
But reach does not feel responsible for that and their policies never helped any average citizen in country. No mention poor.
My point is tax is paid by everyone. But they never got better roads.
Better food. Better water to drink.
You priviledges people will never understand what actually is happening in this country or you do but you ignore deliberately. Thats your policy.

Dude in 90% of the district of india Muslims are less than 20%, it's a minority only, India is huge , Indian Muslims are diverse group , Kerala Muslim is totally different compare to Muslim in Kashmir, Bengali Muslim has very less common with Gujarati Muslim. It's marginalized community with limited political representation. Only in few state like Kashmir,Bengal and Asam Muslim have significant impact.

@@cvry2813 that's what they are not living in one nation, Indian Muslims are diverse with different cultures which makes them minority, you can not club Kashmiri Muslim with Kerala Muslim they just don't have anything comman apart from religion, Kerala Muslim will most probably enjoy company of tamail or mallu Hindu better than Gujarati or Kashmir Muslim. Just by clubbing them out of such large nation doesn't make them majority.

Well such generalisation can't work in our Nation owing to heterogeneity. In Europe or USA, there is relatively more homogeneous population in context of literacy, consumption, demands, services. However, our nation is divided into Urban, semi-urban, rural and still nomadic tribes sectors. Their demands and consumptions vary a lot and hence such generalisation are meaningless. But ofcourse appreciate the efforts of host.
