@@Warkillable it’s too bad a studio can’t make a game like this but make it where you could continue growing a huge kingdom and be able to control full armies like total war but also be able to fight in it like bannerlord, but give us tons of options and stories along with city management, religion, political strategy. Basically combine CKIII, Total War, Bannerlord, Kingdom Come & Skyrim but set in a non fantasy medieval setting.
I'm thinking expanding your village to a kingdom, with a castle, walls, moats, soldier barracks, siege weapons. This could be amazing late, late gameplay. Protect your people from invading vikings
I just wish there's a castle where a lord lives or the king occasionally visits for us to pay homage to.. or even an option to become a noble ourselves within the game. Maybe a monastery too.
@@jon1819 yes but you should have the opportunity or option to become a lord, or a raiding party leader, or a soldier and rank up in the army or become a noble through trade, maybe through force. I think a game like this but with more choices to rise up in the world with lots of different ways of getting there. I know that might not be the original intent but they should continue to develop this game and add on even if it is dlc as long as it’s worth it I don’t mind dlc just haven’t had a game that was worth getting dlc in years.
I don't think this game was ever about being a normal citizen in medieval times. Normal citizens in medieval times didn't build their own settlements and assign people to houses. That was the Nobility's job.
I have a massive city, 80 buildings so far, 59 citizens. In my opinion, the game needs an option to have a larger map. I play 30 days a season. I have more than enough time to do everything possible in that time every season. An option, option mind you for players like me, for a larger map would be fantastic. But the changes in different houses, new furniture and items, weapons and armour, that just gives me chills on what I can do to try and expand. Or maybe, have different locations for villages across the map. Sounds so awesome.
matters if their still sticking with a simple life sim then they may go down a malitia conscription route since their is allready a war maybe their alow u to be conscripted into tenlords army as a low rank troop tbh while i get alot people want more action it comes off like alot of people just want a deliverence clone rather than keep it unique more worried their start pulling it every which way till it falls apart
I caught a bolt to my noggin from an iron crossbow while walking back from doing a side quest. The game needs a little danger because if it's too easy than it's easily forgotten. You can always walk around bandit camps or forest dangers to avoid conflict. But for those who enjoy challenge and reality (bandits are simply old time criminals). To keep new content possibilties we could be looking at an in depth Skyrim. Maybe building ballistae or other Medieval concepts for village defense.
idk , imo this changes nothing .. you can add a Tiger tank to medieval dynasty but without any enemies, ammunition and fuel its just.. pointless... They should focus on you influencing the world more... economy... rival towns if you produce what they try to bring to... a MARKET?
As far as weapons, armor, and more danger, it has to be a customizable feature able to turn off. There are people like my wife who only play for the chill aspect. Years trying to find a game such as this one without real danger and she found it.
Game developers actually listens you guys. They are active in twitter and liked / thanked my short review as independent player. They are actively seeking your wishes. They deserve a larger community and support. I'm so addicted too in this game :)
Mechanical bonus tip: If we send our villagers who can be trained to be army men, if they die, they must die with all their skills and empathy... so we would be sad to loose good men with good skills.
Wow... That will be great becoming village lord, fighting other village lords for looting or expanding rules, fighting with bandits, defending own village from rival lords attack and making own soldiers.. Also monster killing quest.
william shakespeare once Said „ Peace Never tells a good story“ when they add more combat I would By it instantly, war or conflicts are what was interesting in this time, living a normal boring live is Ehm Yeah boring, I can do that IRL why should I do it In a game ?
Watching this video for the first time at the end of 2022, heading into 2023, still no medieval "war type" combat, but I do think there is still a path for armor and weaponry around bandits, maybe even a watchguard with towers and RNG bandit raids on your settlement once you notoriety with the (at the time) "king" until the story line take you to overrule the entire land.
To be honest, having first and third person view in multiplayer games, is the WORST thing ever! In a singleplayer (especially, no competitive) like medieval dynasty... Why not... Having the choice is just better. But if you take for exemple, Kingdom Come, why the hell you gonna play this game in third person, it's clearly made for first person and the goal is to be immersed by the world. But for Medieval Dynasty, it's fine
I wish they changed the handicaps on weight to allow you to carry double the normal weight or something. it's painful walking at 1 inch increments to build a house. and no one wants to do 10 laps to a material storage
Should just be ambush’s on roads so there just a little bit of combat and worry on your back when traveling between villages this game doesn’t need massive battles
In many games where you can have a place with people working you have enemies that show up to kill and rob you, games like rimworld, Kenshin, Dwarf fortress, Etcs... I really think it would be cool that you could have bandits attacking your village and you need to put people as guards to protect your village from bandits and wild animals.
They already have bandits that spawn each season after the first year (I think) they're pretty scary but easy to kill if you're not caught off guard. Have some pretty cool loot though. Not sure if they can hurt villagers
i personally think castles wont be a thing cause the devs said the game is about a normal citizen not a lord or something which rules giant armies small fights might be a thing but anything bigger not atleast not in the base game maybe with a dlc
3rd person will be handy for placing buildings but most games that have gathering have really bad animations for collecting stuff once you're in 3rd person mode or hitboxes for combat that can only be described as wonky. Motion sickness is often triggered by narrow FOV (console ports are notoriously bad) or a frame rate that bounces around like a kid riding a spacehopper on a trampoline.
I prefer third person, mainly cos of character customisation and it feels like I'm creating and watching a story of my character. It also feels so claustrophobic in 1st person cams, even with the FOV up to 110. So I'm looking forward to it, especially with all the clothes in the game, feels a shame never to see them. My worry however is the animations are a bit rough at points, but it may be the case where they have just employed a new animator to create better ones, here's hoping the latter.
The animations are oddly worse in 1st person compared to third At least, if you're looking at your shadow. His entire body just stands still and one arm moves about
What is that gear icon right below your boots? I haven't found anything to put in that slot yet. Looking for anybody to respond and help a guy out here lol.
So to acknowledge that the game just officially released and gave us a bunch of new stuff...you create a video about stuff on a list that won't be out anytime soon. Is that right?
Be a trend setter not a follower. There are many games that incorporate war and fighting each other. Only a very few which combine the elements of survival with life struggles from a more historical simple life. Bandits were a problem at times, but not the norm just the nuisance. Hoping the developers don’t go to where everyone else is going (war, fighting, zombies…), keep the uniqueness of this genre that’s why people are flocking to the game.
worth noting i found when i lived in the uk in boarding school. around 70% of the kids in that school had motion sickness. me being from the usa i thought "that seems really unmanly" and at the time boy george was out and so was wham and well them petshop boys were too and i just thought you all were inferior, you can understand why LOL
It'll be good to hear the dev's end game vision for this game would it be like more towards a bannerlord type game personally I don't think so just because their map doesn't seem to be made for it or it could be more like Villagers against bandit Villagers?
I have enjoyed bannerlord and I know it’s still early access but I really hope they add a lot and I mean a lot more. It’s very addicting but it needs a lot more depth in pretty much every area.
feels like they trying to make kingdom come with elements of bannerlord... love the game, tho im afraid pcs will be able to handle that much... looking forward for weapons, swords, shields... i also hope that since we cant create ur character, the next generation (kid) would be customisable in the future...
Windmill great so sawmill too?? Castle and Castle walls hmm I think this game is great but hope that you can turn some aspects off too like the current bandit checkbox. Eventually, the politics of fealty and wars come with greater fighting abilities that were outside the realm of the game's original scope. Is this a prequel to Kingdom Come Deliverance?
Armors and crests. That explains the 3rd person view.. I also would mind 3rd person view when placing structures. Hell it would be nice if they had a grid view to be able to snap structures In line with each other and bump them out here and there to allow for roads and fences.
Why do all the kids always want to ruin every game by crying for combat. If the focus shifts to combat it will completely ruin this amazing game. I suppose all the crybabies want PvP and zombies too? Wah wah, I want multiplayer and village Vs village wars!!! Wah wah. The Devs need to seriously to stop and think.
Now let us build Castle's and its kingdom come deliverance I wanted. Go from peasant to lord that would be awesome
It would be mount and blade bannerlord at that point lol
@@quebec8557 Not even in a slight...
It would but i would want to raid other kingdoms or have other kingdoms come to try and raid mine to make it slightly more tactical and challenging.

I tweeted both the creators at the same time something similar and Warhorse Studios actually liked the tweet🤷🏻♂️

this. im waiting to play it for this
So basically... it’s Kingdom Come but Henry goes on to live a normal life. Dope.
Castles? I would pay for a Castle DLC!
You’re a peasant tho, not a lord

The focus should be on expanding the map. More villages, towns, extend the wildlife and plants, sleep, illness etc.
I agree , would love to travel to where the King lives and possible explore a new area with some type of add on
Devs said no kings and big combat, but i still have dreams of leading a charge into combat and killing things....
Just released Windmill & Decorations Update and we keep working on the next milestones! :)

Maybe the king will force all the village leaders to join his war. You know feudalism.
Castles in the future would be fun.

it says modules not models, its a different thing entirely
Resonant sounds like he always has post nasal drip.
Building churches, markets for travelling traders, watchtowers, manor house, and possibly a keep/castle would be awesome.

This idea sounds great to me aswell, make the gamename worth its name, x-stend the map, armor, weps, castles and keeps and so on, lets get it all
I hope they update the game with an addition of an inn as a form of revenue and to add moving npc between towns

Those medieval villages look way better than the modern ones.
There's already crossbows. There's a lot more that needs to be added it gets pretty old in the end game
Crest's. My first thought was are we going to become a noble?
If you could like start conquests and siege cities with an army that’d be awesome
So... STILL no customizable key bindings? Pass
