Listen. I moved back in with my mom in Feb 2023 at age 34 and since then I’ve saved nearly $30,000. I could not care less if someone judged me 🤷🏾♀️ I’m grateful for being able to save. I’m going apartment hunting next week and God willing I find something nice, clean, and safe 🙏🏾

I would do the same but unfortunately for me I got one of those toxic narc mothers. So, I gotta keep grinding because I promised myself I would never go back and live under her crazy regime. I like coming home to peace.

Ain't nothing wrong with staying with yo ppl.I moved out my apartment 2014 and back to my mom house for 5 years. I gave up both my ft jobs after 3 months staying at my moms house and just got to know who God is and the purpose for my life. I fasted 20 days straight just water boy that was tough but I was led by holy spirit to do it. Fast forward now... God bless me with building my own home 2023 and the relationship I have with him is the best decision I did by sitting down at my mom house for those 10 months not working Charger got repo no money but I now know my purpose and what he's asking of me. Sometimes I do miss being at my mom house in my old childhood room ❤

It’s better she yell the total than yo card declined.😭😭😭😭 I feel you on living on a higher floor. My momma always taught me that especially being a woman. You don’t wanna be that accessible. People are weird, ignorant, and they watch your patterns.

I admire how you’re standing on business & I can’t do nothing but respect it.
I’m glad that you had the opportunity to just figure out you and what you want to do next, plus fast and heal. That’s a big blessing that some people may not make the opportunity to do for themselves. I moved out of my last apartment in November of last year and I just felt so ashamed and worried about life back with my familial home, just because it hasn’t always been the most copacetic but after I’ve been here for a while, I’ve been able to take time to heal and connect with God without toxic, loud neighbors and impeding bills on my back. And I’m working and saving which is so much relief, instead of just pouring everything I have into bills. When I step out, I’m gonna be on a higher level than I was ever was before. Also, it’s so important to keep listening to your intuition about how a place makes you feel, because God told me not to move into the last place I lived in, but I was so desperate, that I did, and it was just so many problems that stressed me out! I’m glad I left.

When lifting weights it’s not about the reps but it’s always about good form and not going to failure too much. You gotta preserve that central nervous system as long as you can!
This is a big fact. I worked out with a football coach once, this man was not happy until my muscles failed every session😮😂...from his point of view "that's how you get gains" but that's definitely how you can traumatize yourself too... putting all that pressure on my sympathetic nervous system was not what I needed, GOD also told me that man did not know empathy, which explained a lot... and so I realized it would do more harm than benefit working out so hard in that regard

never lower those expectations sis, consistent prayer to God about it. You will run into the right ones, it'll be when you're least expecting it. great question though, especially in a time where there are not many God fearing men as there once was. I encourage fasting too, you will have more conversations with God and he will lead you to run into the ones you are looking for.

I lovveedd your old place! I’m a fan of high ceilings as well. This new place is nice too, and that was a good deal that they was giving. I’m not sure how much rent is in Florida if everywhere is over 2k for a 2br…so I’m not sure if that would be worth that price, BUT imo, I like the layout of that floor plan. I think apts with unique floor plans be the best looking ones lol. And if you ever decide to get a dog too, that’s something to think about as well. Good luck on your search gang🤞🏾

I like the balcony on the first apartment you showed, but it did seem a little less bright but the bathrooms looked nice. The second was so nice and bright but no elevator.. nahh. Plus it did seem a little smaller and kinda like a box, just two rooms and then the kitchen and living room in one room. That’s how my last apartment was shaped.

I’m the same way when it comes to scenery and where my place is located and what is near it… but to help your apartment hunting - when you find an apartment you like just type the address in google maps then do a 3D view so you can check it out the surroundings before driving. it may help.

today i got into a minor car accident while running errands and just being a responsible, independent person. im an 18 year old college student and artist/painter from atlanta so I've been trying to establish my independence and handle my business on my own.
