For authentic and clean Chinese restaurants I would recommend the one Xi Jinping went to several years ago called Qingfeng Steamed Buns. It’s not the most delicious steamed bun I’ve ever eaten, but at least it’s clean. But that restaurant is only found in China, not in America.

I guess not every state has Serv-Safe. I don't eat at Chinese restaurants because almost none of them have current Serv-Safe certification. In fairness, we barely eat out. My Hubby has a Culinary Arts degree, is currently Serv-Safe certified (hasn't worked in the industry in 15 years; he's a HHA now and cooks for some of his patients), and is excellent at keeping any and all vermin outta our home, let alone kitchen and food.

As an ex prep clerk for produce, I say the food near the rags is great for putting both germs and chemicals on the food. That's why we had paper towels instead of rags. Lord help us now. Food safety starts with a clean prep station, folks! Also, proper glove use is crucial with food. Even with clean hands, it's still best to use gloves when handling food. You gotta change the gloves with changing the food type, you touch your hair or face with them, or changing tasks from food prep to cleaning.
