These boys are at the top of their game recently and topping themselves & that is hard...this video is all in one shot too ! HARD TO DO !!! Those harmonies are once again on point ! Yep that ,ood they created in the room, just top-notch !!! This has shot to my Top10 of theirs !!!
Rob's voice is absolutely perfect for the doo-wop sound with his velvet voice. It makes you want to move & groove. Just never know what favor Home Free will add to a song & Adam's beatboxing is on point. Even Tim stopped his bass when Chance said "no" bass? Love seeing Adam Rupp singing when they go into their amazing 5 part harmony. Great reaction.
This is the kind of song that sets Home Free apart from others. They are all virtuosos in their own right no doubt, but unlike other a capella groups who rely on theatrics or over the top vocal calesthenics, these guys can just sit and sing and blow people away just with that tight, beautiful sound. To me, songs like this are more entertaining than the ones with more gymnastic moments. Awesome, and the video was a one shot, no edits. Simple and mind-blowing at the same time.
Another reactor pointed out also that right after Chance sings, "...no bass...", you hear Tim come in with the bass. Pretty sure all the stuff was already in the building before they got there. They have a "Home Away From Home" bethind the scenes video that shows part of the making of this. Austin was looking around the room talking about some of the stuff that was there. I love the little interplay between Rob & Adam - when Rob sings, "I'll lay down the beat..." while looking at Adam. Adam kinda grins & shakes his head & his hand at Rob, like he's saying, 'Uh uh, that's MY job!"
Hey Dave while watching home free reactions I stumbled across home free doing a dire straits tune brothers in arms man it's real deep thinking you will really enjoy it
@@marylee7467 Yeah. It's freakishly low. I don't know if the lows are lower than his existing records, but he starts there and just stays down there, curling up in his subterranean dragon lair.
I really like how they all got to sing a verse plus I loved Austin singing in his lower range which I actually prefer. I know everyone loves how high he sings but I've always preferred his lower range. Some of the harmonies remind me of Helplessly Hoping.
This was one of the first videos they filmed after the COVID restrictions were lifted. You can see how much they are enjoying just being together and singing together in the same room. And Tim stopped when he said "no bass."
Great reaction! Home Free did it again! They just keep getting better and better! Thank you so much for your reaction and stay safe and healthy and have a blessed day!
That’s my favorite part too Dave. Near the end when it’s just their voices and the snapping. Soooo good. Loved the video, the room, the lighting, thy lyrics, those harmonies! HF killed it and Adam was crazy good. Loved your reaction Dave!
Great reaction Dave and love your breakdown of the video. Yeah that was a cool room and you’re right…a lot of work. I’m really into this song now. It’s so good and those harmonies! Home Free did it again.
Had to watch this again! It's so awsesome and then your reactions and the cool vibes you're giving out, so good. Thanks Dave. You are great to watch react with how you really enjoy Home Free's music and you understand music. Sure enjoying their Valentine's Month of Romance videos! Another probably coming out for V-Day I'm sure! Can't wait! Take care!
This one is definitely pure ear candy with those glorious percussion-free harmonies! This has such a smooth groove and vibe that I want to put it on repeat forever! When they did the breakdown and Adam was singing, it was perfect!! This group always puts me in such a good mood! Loved your triple replay on that part, too!
One of my most loved covers by Home Free. Such harmonies. I think you’re thinking of “How Great Thou Art” - no instrumental on that one. Thanks for your reaction
Dave congrats on the 13 years....when I met Liza in college, I knew & never dated anyone else. We married 2 weeks after we graduated & then had 8 1/2 years until Cancer (FUCK CANCER !!) took her from me. I miss her so very much but I know I'll see her again. I've been a one man band for 30 years now ...I almost married twice but I just couldn't pull the trigger
Enjoy your reactions! Rupp’s beats were 🔥🔥🤯😁😁! He slayed this! That 5 part harmony! I love how they took turns on took turns on the lead vocals. Such an awesome video! The vibe is so cool! Love Home Free! This is now on my HF favorites list!
You are a Great reactor and enjoy sp[ending time with you !! Thanks for that little snippet into your life, that just makes your reactions more interesting. I am a HUGE Home Free fan and always look for your reactions to one of their new videos.
Loved this reaction and love the song. Every song I hear now I sit there and think how would Home Free do this? Who would sing the lead? What kind of spun would they put on it? Lol
No Dave the background decorations and lights that is the touch of a woman’s hand my bet the boys convinced their ladies to have a part in this and they did it! I would bet money on it! They did a good job!
They’ve got a new release coming out Friday, the 27th. ….. “WORKIN FOR A LIVIN”….cove of Huey, Lewis & the News. It’s Awesome..I had a sneak peek of it 🙃🥰💥‼️🔥. You’ll love it ❤️🥰🔥‼️
As awesome as this is, (& of course we know they never bring less than that), I really wanna hear their take on 3 Dog Night's "One Man Band"! That's what I thought this was gonna be when I clicked on it. And if any of the rest of y'all have heard it, (go look it up), you know how they'd SLAY the falsetto harmony breakdown at the end! I neeeeeed it.
I absolutely love the way you react to songs, especially ones that are not in your normal wheelhouse. I would LOVE to see you react to Laura Fabian singing je suite malade. It is in French, but there is a versian that has English subtitles. The song is beautiful, but the DELIVERY is superb.
Love ALL genres of Music. I have been playing and singing for very close to 72 years now, the voice is not the same, and the guitar has given way to my arthritis, but the trombone is still viable (once played for a guy called Count Basie, maybe you have heard of him).
Tim Foust (the guy with the white streak in his hair) is their bass. He regularly goes subterranean. Their baritone, Chance (the guy opening the song) covers the bass when Tim is singing lead or if Tim needs to go up and cover a tenor harmony (yes, he does that. 5+ octave range).
They do a good job on this song. I do prefer the original version of Old Dominion just a bit better, though. Actually saw Old Dominion in concert - July 2018, last live show before covid - when they were one of Kenny Chesney's opening acts. You should do a reaction to Dame D.O.L.L.A's The Juice. I don't usually listen to rap, but that one is good, and not just because it's Damian Lillard.
Nice vid dude! You should check out Tomi P's new cover of My Mother Told Me... we're talking beyond the dragons... we're talking beyond subterranean...
I love Adam in this one... besides the beatboxing, his smirk at Rob and his smile when he joins in for the 5 part harmony... just awesome!
I love your reactions....🎶🎵🦋🎶🎵

Love the word play in their delivery. They look so happy to be back together.

Somehow it's like they wanna show how happy they are to be able to tour and perform again. Awesome

Hey Dave while watching home free reactions I stumbled across home free doing a dire straits tune brothers in arms man it's real deep thinking you will really enjoy it
He will, I'm sure
Hopefully they made a video of it.
They have the song out but no video yet. But the dragon starts it off right. It's my favorite on the album, which is hard to pick lol
@@marylee7467 Yeah. It's freakishly low. I don't know if the lows are lower than his existing records, but he starts there and just stays down there, curling up in his subterranean dragon lair.
I subscribed to your channel after your reaction to Home Free sang End of the Road. Followed since then.
I really like how they all got to sing a verse plus I loved Austin singing in his lower range which I actually prefer.

And Tim stopped when he said "no bass."
I like the fact when he said no bass and tim stops the bass and starts back up...
These guys are a testimony to this song title. With such skills they could go their own way but together they that top shelf act.
Great reaction! Home Free did it again! They just keep getting better and better! Thank you so much for your reaction and stay safe and healthy and have a blessed day!
Their harmonies : pure happiness!! 😍
I love the fact Adam can go from beat boxing to singing and right back into beat boxing. The man is phenomenal!
If this was a 45 record, this is the flip side to Crazy, love this ! Your reaction is priceless!
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that 5 part harmony!!! Great reaction, as usual! Thank you!!
That’s my favorite part too Dave. Near the end when it’s just their voices and the snapping. Soooo good. Loved the video, the room, the lighting, thy lyrics, those harmonies! HF killed it and Adam was crazy good. Loved your reaction Dave!

At least you had the sense not to marry when it would have been bad for you and her (twice). May your wife rest peacefully until you are reunited.
The most awesome 5-man band!!!
Gotta admit that I never was into a capella-outfits, but these guys, man! They hit home.
Dave, love your reactions and great DJ voice. This is so groovy!!!

They did such a good job with this
One of my fav’s!! 😉😉😉
Dave, love your reactions. You just get it.
Adan Rupp can also sing. Everyone in his family is a singer. i love your story it's so romantic.
They did an awesome job with this one, as they usually do.

Idk who it is, but someone is going bloody infrasonic with how low they're during that harmonizing bit
