I glue Dollar Tree's shot glasses down to one of their long narrow "chargers". I have five of the shot glasses l lined up and labeled with the specific glue for each holder. It really is quite convenient.
That would work to hold it upside down for sure. I bet there are a ton of things around the house to hold it upside down. I used to keep it upside down in the center hole from a roll of ribbon or tape, glue dot roll. But I like that the lid is glued down and secure in mine so that I can rest the glue bottle in it without screwing it together for those quick uses and then when I am totally done, I can screw it together.

Great idea. Thank you
Glad you liked it Debbi!
Or use a shot glass with some glass marbles at the bottom for weight and to raise the lid up a bit.
