I've had this on my watchlist for a while, but I'd had serious doubts, and it looks like those were pretty well-founded. Also really glad you called this an Action-Adventure; as someone who's really fussy about genres, I notice that Adventure in general gets forgotten, whether it's getting rolled up in Visual Novels, RPGs, or whatever else.
The game needs more beta-testing before release. The spikes killed you at 2:18, because there is no invinsibility-frames. Easy to fix : - add a button reverse counter when pressed to avoid fast pressing - add a separate button for Action (one for Action and one for Run) - refine the models of the main characters - create more variants of enemies (with different colors, abilities and particle effects) - repair all bugs Medium to fix : - add more background music when finding a financial success More demanding (hard mode) to fix : - add more story as a DLC
Totally missed this game. I think the graphics are clean and cute, gameplay is simple, story isn’t special. But you know what? Not everything needs to be the next genre defining adventure. Ya, I’m buying it for sure. Hopefully the devs can continue to build on this world.
It sounds like this game might have been ready for early access, but not a full release. In its current state, it just might leave you feeling like you've stepped in a steaming pile of KAKU after playing it.
Sliding puzzles are not fun....no shit Sherloack LOL . Ok so I watched the full review. I played the demo for this a while ago and I liked it but this sound pretty negative so I will wait a year or so and see how many patches it gets/if it gets. Thanks mate !
I hate those silly made-up languages, it sounds so painfully childish. I'd be playing Okami if it just had text boxes. Or, you know, real voice acting.
Will you be checking out KAKU: Ancient Seal? Let us know in the comments below! Thank you as always for supporting independent content.
Honestly, it looks fun.
Thanks for playing and reviewing!❤
Oop, there's a great concept and adventure here, they just need a little more time working on it. I appreciate your review! 🤙🏻🎉

I really miss the "action-adventure" genre🙂
Nice "french" reference.
Thanks for the heads up

I see that there was an Alpha version :
"Kaku Ancient Seal (Alpha)
Release Date : 27 November 2020"

Caca jajaja good one buddy😂
Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
Looks like it needs more time in the oven.
Thanks for watching the review!
The video looks quite fun... but the review makes it clear it is sadly not🙂
Sound like undercook
Honestly, it's a platformer so I kinda like it already.
It's not a platformer, it's trying to be Breath of the Wild and really sucks at it. Trust me, don't waste your money
@@Over_Toasted Thank you, overly-toasted piece of bread. I shall take your word for it.
@@comradestannisthe burnt bits are a sign of life experience!
I'm really enjoying it. Parts of it are like a platformer. Think of it like Zelda meets Phoenix rising
@@Over_Toasted Hehe

So it is not good ? Isn't this a Zeldalike ?
Yes, they said to avoid it. It isn't good. It doesn't really play like Zelda. It tried to look like a Zelda-style game but it plays terribly
I disagree with alot of what was said here. It's not a souls like. Not remotely. More zelda like you said. However...the game has alot of issues
The game is definitely *trying* to do some souls style stuff while also ripping off Zelda. Fails at both.@@CasualtiesOfGaming
@Over_Toasted as someone who has more then 40 hours in I disagree. I think it has very little is an souls like stuff to it

Are you saying that a childish element is included in a game that looks like it's for children? 😮
@@SuperPowerButton Okami is rated 12 and up. Also, don't be shallow.
