Fantastic guitar solo, this song as much as i know is a bonus track so i'm suprise that the song has a video, Michael Schenker still delivers good songs and great guitar solos in a late phase of his career, thanks for sharing.
Michael's solo is really impressive and his sound he gets with the Dean V and the Marshall amps is, to me, unbelievably great!!! I saw him twice live in October 2022 and he's still got it and then some. No one like him.
Hearing Michael's playing (and songwriting) on the last 2 albums is seriously impressive. Probably one of the few remaining living legends after Eddie passed. He's got the perfect blend of phrasing, note choice, vibrato, tone, technicality, musicality, etc. He's not stuck in a blues/pentatonic box. And he's not a technical robot, nor overplays.
Hello Melody How're you doing, it's been a long journey, and I'm nothing without amazing fans like you who appreciate my musical craftiness, All love to you and yours ❤️
Looks like Romero, Kiske and Scheepers are vocalists on this album, with Mann and Schopf both from The McAuleySG and Fest era. Lots of other recognizable names too.
DIO - One Night in the City - is very similar Oh Johnny was a dark child He was promised to us all But rides in the night Can lift you out of sight When they call, that's all
I'm disappointed in the sense that this isn't what I want Schenker to play - I want to hear Hard Rock. But on in its own merits, this is a decent enough Melodic Rock tune that chugs along nicely and has a catchy chorus, although the lyrics are corny. No surprise that the best bit is Schenker's (too short) lead break. A good production job. A tune that won't shake the world, but it will keep fans going to his gigs. My Score: Good 3*
Long time fan I'm talking 1970's. It's hard since he's provided so much great music. It doesn't get better than strangers in the night for me. I cut my teeth on it playing guitar. My first thought 18 and life ? Kind of but not really. The song is weak the mix sucks it doesn't hold up. I get it my opion so it means nothing. This song has no appeal the vocals are irritating and too out front and monotone. We don't need another theme song for a rocky movie both have run its course
Sorry Michael Schenker, sounds like you’re just trying to make another record. I don’t like the lyrics, but the lead solo is good. McCauley is a good singer but my favorite is Bardon. His lyrics are top notch as well
@@MrCkfox1 ya, I’m starting to relate more to the new music. I was raised on UFO 🛸 and MSG so I prefers his classic songs. Ronnie can really sing the old songs extremely well
I'm the biggest Schenker fan but damn...the boring crap he's been putting out for the last few decades is just horribly pathetic. This is just another example. BORING song...lame chorus and childish, garbage lyrics. And the recording...FLAT and undynamic! Just stick to playing the old stuff or hang it up altogether...this stuff is embarrassing!
This suffers from what a lot of what he's put out the last few years suffers from "Michael Voss Disease" Schenker needs to get rid of Voss and get a real producer.
@@joehahn8817 Michael seems to have switched on the coast switch, ever since he started this collaboration with Voss. I believe he needs to get a producer that pushes him.
@@1Phepsi At this stage in life Micheal I think pretty much creates for leisure and spontaneously without being overly concerned with a specific direction or measuring up to his best works. As a result the recent output is not among the top-tier releases but still for me good enough based on his raw talent to mix in with his other stuff and be enjoyed in that sense. The lyrics on the other hand for this latest release are getting pretty campy and perhaps somebody other than Michael Voss should be penning them. Like seeing Micheal rocking the UFO logo on his apparel though.
Ok...what happened to the REAL Michael Schenker??? I don't even recognize this guy. Michael Schenker plays ROCK AND ROLL not this fucking crapola!!! I understand wanting to keep making new music but if it sounds like something from the '80 that didn't make it onto an album why put it out now. This song is just plain monotonous!!! Judging from that pedestrian solo, it ain't inspiring Michael much either... 😕😕😕 I never thought I would be writing this about one of my guitar heroes, but facts are facts. This is FAR from his best work!!! 😢😢😢
Been on this earth for 65 years and Michael is what I believe to be the greatest of all time!!
you got that right...been here 64 years...

@@SGBlackstar I stand corrected...lol, Ronnie sang in Lord's of Black and that band is from Spain

ROCK GODS!
Good tune. Easy on the ears. Schenker and Romero still shit hot as ever.

Some hommage to Bon Jovi in there!! Great song, positive vibes, just what we need today!

LOVE IS NOT AGAME 😀😂😘
Skid Row - 18 And Life
Ricky was a young boy
He had a heart of stone
Lived 9 to 5 and he worked
His fingers to the bone
DIO - One Night in the City - is very similar
Oh Johnny was a dark child
He was promised to us all
But rides in the night
Can lift you out of sight
When they call, that's all
Вот в концерте эта вещь мне не нравиться а вот отдельно вполне даже впечатляет. -Good.
Дайте классного Бардена.
Sail Away by Deep Purple?
The riff reminds me more of N.I.B. by Black Sabbath :D
Ronnie needs to write and record with Iommi.
I like that idea
Who invented the guitar? Michael Schenker or Dave Mustaine? 😁😆🤣😂
buddy guy
Ritchie Blackmore
Django Reinhardt.

Где другие классные вокалисты?

Where is the rest of the band. Why you cut them out .wow...msg....

Please, support Ukraine #StandWithUkraine!
Any song that starts off with "eeeewww yeah" just sucks.
Does n't sound like him
Sounds like something Scorpions decided NOT to record in the '80s... 😕😕😕
Hmmmm
Pretty lame by MSG standards. I haven't heard anything off this disc that makes my want to buy it. Just sayin
Ya I wasn’t impressed
begining vocal lines from Skid Row "18 and life"
Beeing a really mediocre singer without Personality is worst then beeing a total Zero
Michael Schenker is still a great composer and guitar Player
Same chorus than sail the darkness… only the guitar solo is interesting.
Intro Vocal & the Verses Totally Rip off SkidRow...
Shave the guy maybe he will sing better then
Sorry Michael Schenker, sounds like you’re just trying to make another record. I don’t like the lyrics, but the lead solo is good. McCauley is a good singer but my favorite is Bardon. His lyrics are top notch as well
but..... that's Ronnie Romero singing this song.

My least favourite track on the album tbf. Would of liked to see a video for turn off the world. The guitar on this sounds great though
