holy shit a home world 3 is coming?????????? i salute you CAPTAIN COLLINS. o7 the game of games, to hear you started out on this game, moves my heart, that the best games will never die. no matter how old i get, i love seeing, people still find these games
I always loved the idea of this game, then I get in game and get fixated on capturing every ship with salvage frigates, then I get frustrated when I miss one and give up. Vicious cycle... Still a great game!

lol one of your other videos just pissed me off, and i was going to use THIS GAME AS AN EXAMPLE and i figure you wouldnt even know what it is.... HAHHAHAHAA YES X4 needs to take a page from this game, they did it right! sure, its diffent i know that, but homeworld, cataclysm, just did things right, and they did it first!!!!
Homeworld! This is a gem that will forever live in our hearts, still its tactical gameplay and campaign narrative is unmatched.
I was there back in 1999. This game had a lasting impact on my teenage years. It truly is a masterpiece of its generation of video games and beyond.

Homeworld was great. I especially liked Homeworld:Cataclysm.

the most important thing that X4 needs to learn from Homeworld is: the attack logic for every unit
seriously， why is so hard for X4 ship AI just point head to target, maintain range and shoot
Honestly... when I watch the fighters attack, it looks very similar. And then another thing: since 7.00 Beta, M class ships act almost like frigates in Homeworld, they stay close and shoot straight at you. You will be pleased with 7.00
I had the original, HW2 and HW cataclysm on disk, now have all but HWC, via steam and the remastered versions, replayed a while back around the time of HW3 demo, classic games, looking forward to 3 been far too long.
You will be pleased, believe me...
Note: Bentusi were introduced in HW1, also HW3 is shit thus far

I loved that game. When playing X4 I think of those controls.
Curious if you'll like the new controls then or if you switch to legacy. (Nice that there's an option for that)
