Also that little hop in the lock-on cursor that indicates exactly when the breakdance animation starts is when you should parry with a round shield, lands every time
I like the fact that the farron greatsword is so predictable that you can parry it while it's invisible.

It honestly makes me really sad how bad that sword is, both stat wise and how parry-able it is. Cause the weapon art and design is so cool :(
It's actually not a bad weapon as long as you don't spam with it and learn how to dead angle the initial L1/LB attack so it doesn't get parried. As for stats it puts out some good damage depending on what build you're using it on
@@salazaarfyrfang2699 Everytime I looked into putting it into a build it does subpar damage to many better weapons. They made the splitlead combo true why couldn't they have made Farron combo true? It doesn't do enough damage to be that strong and would've actually been less broken than splitleaf

It was 3. I believe his reasoning was he preferred its PvP mechanics since DS1 is just Backstab Souls and he was late to playing DS2 so he never got to experience PvP in it

@@acesnick6527 I can give you some tips:
1. Always carry healing miracles
2. Phantoms can't use estus when you invade, so keep an eyes wgen they cast spells
3. Always have a heavy damagin weapon and a light weapon
4. Backstabs are very safe, use them
5. Carry something that permits you to do ranged damage
6. Try to use the enviroment, ds2 has a lot of enemies and traps so is usefull if you know the zone
7. There are a lot of mages, magic barrier and armor dedicated for this is a good option
8 And for last, resummonig is much more risky, and estus is not safe, if the host is alone, is easy to take them down
@@youtubewanderer3347 on my main character I have warmth. Big ol strength build so I use the ring that give resistance to all elements due to only having 20/20 int/fth. Short bow. They almost always have the iron keep clearned out (80% of invasions are possible there, only there)
Do you happen to remember which heavy armor had decent elements resistance, or even medium armor. I have 49 vit so I can use great hammers and heavy armor. (I got quite good)

What shields is that I beat ds1 and 2 I just got 3 and I'm at catacombs of carthus took me 3 hours I want that shield tho what is it called?
It's the iron round shield the thief class starts with it and hollow soldiers can drop it too but you probably alrealy knew that

How do you sprint while in menus? Always boggles my mind.
You have to hold down the sprint button before you enter the menu and keep it held down while in menu
