You missed a few. -Overgrown lothric knight with GS -Pyromancer zoey can be parryed, flame fan is the only pyromancy you can parry -Orbeck of carim, magic sword can be parryed like the flame fan You also missed the scholar blue lothric knights with sword, UGS and spear, but they are just more lothric knights

Proving that he understands the distinction and the distinction is made within the video itself. Many enemies can be riposted through guard break. Therefore yes, it should count. The video deals with parries. Riposte is a different thing altogether that just so happens to oftentimes go hand in hand with a parry.
It's possible to get partial parries on a plethora of attacks. Getting a full, in the flesh parry is a different story for some enemies, like SoC. It's entirely possible he did, and it's not too uncommon.
Huh, I always thought that if the enemy is 2-handing a weapon, I won’t be able to parry him. Like Ultra Greatsword, or Great Hammer. I guess this doesn’t really apply in PvE.

Great hammers, Ultra Greatswords, and the like all cannot be parried while they 2 hand the weapon, unless it's the running r1 or rolling r1. That is if the model of enemy, similar to Eygon, is that of a player character. Also, the guy who said you can parry jumping attacks is wrong. You cannot parry any jumping attacks from any weapon under any circumstances.

Btw the “fancy animation” is called a riptose (not trying to sound mean just letting you know) but in the video he only showed the parry and the ripsote because in dark souls a parry is also a riptose there’s no point of a parry if you can’t riptose so he’s not gonna show dragonslayer armor parry
I found some guy who spent actual months trying to convince me that most enemies in dark souls 3 can’t be parried and kept using certain enemies as an example even though said enemy is one of the easiest enemies on the game to parry I also had no idea you could parry the greater crab assuming this isn’t some “ouroboros parries the world” situation
Also, with the crabs and the Corvian Knights (the clawed one, at least) you can stun them out of particular attacks. I've had the best luck at this with the Claymore.

Usually the rule of thumb in the dark souls series when it comes to parrying; if you can backstab your opponent, then it's most likely you can parry him too. Note: this is a Broad spectrum of one of the rules of parrying. There's plenty of enemies that you can parry, but not backstab.
Second rule is: not all attacks can be parried. Third: not all parries are logical, some are really weird and you can see the animation glitch out in some cases (like parrying evanghelist's left swing, only for the abimation to show the mace going to the right lol .

With some enemies like the crystal lizard in the beginning and the giant crabs, if you hit them enough in rapid succession it makes the parry sound. That means they were guard broken and you can go in for a reposte. You can parry Lorian and get a few hits in but you can’t do an actual reposte unless he’s guard broken. You can also guard break the demon prince but you can’t actually parry him so he’s not in this video. Edit: typo fix.

Wolf Hreda Weapon art on volts mace can do that to the corvian knights. Blocking some attacks from silver knights plays the parry sound but no repost.
