peter parker If you knew the first thing about story telling or themes or even video editing you would know what you just said is unbelievably ignorant. The point of the video is to show Clark’s progressive growth as superman, first the joy and happiness and fulfilment he feels for being superman, then the loss and pain that comes through loosing people he loves like for instance his father. And the final part is showing that despite all of that loss and pain he grows to save and protect people so they don’t have to experience the pain that he did and takes what his father taught him (which is why there are a lot of voice overs of both his fathers Jonathan and Jor El) and uses those teachings to guide him. It really isn’t that complex and hard to see...

When I was born my parents decide to put my middle name as Kent. When I was a child I loved Superman and I still do but something about Superman his abilities, his powers made me like him. He will always be my #1 superhero of all time.
I've always felt that MoS was the perfect movie for when it came out. It was still about hope, but a cynical, dry view on hope - the only kind that could ever touch anyone. We've lost a lot of that saturation, that life, that color that defined precious previous iterations. Hope cuts through the darkness - but ours isn't a darkness of blackness, it's one of gray apathy. Gray like snow, like cloudy skies, like tornadoes. I'll admit to my young age, but I've since devoured almost everything on Superman I could get my hands on. And it was because, for once, I saw a character I could see hope in. That movie will always be special to me. And this character, with each and every iteration in both coloured pages and colourless screens and everything between, will always be precious to our history. A symbol of peace. In time, we might join him in the sun.
Bot Force - There were plans for a Batman v Superman movie starring Bale and Routh. It was even teased in I Am Legend with their logos merged together.
This... this right here. This is why Superman will always be my favorite hero. This is why we need our boy scout. He's the beacon on the lighthouse showing us the way. You take away Superman's powers.... and he's still a hero. Notice none of this video is of him punching stuff. It's his willingness to march into hell for heavenly cause. That's what makes him a hero. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. Superman represents the determined defiance to fight our impulses and be better. He represents what we strive for. He's our hope that we can be super. My favorite picture of Superman is from Alex Ross. Superman looking at the first responders after 9/11. Fireman, police officers, doctors, and nurses. He sees his heroes and just says... "Wow." As we go through this crisis with this pandemic let's acknowledge the heroes that exist in our lives that don't have super powers but are just as heroic as Superman. "He hated that term savior applied to him was that he believed he wasn't taking real risks doing what he did. Most of his actions, he felt, weren't life-threatening. He was invulnerable; almost nothing except for kryptonite could harm him. But policemen, firemen, people like these astronauts, they put their lives on the line every time they tried to help mankind take yet another small step forward. They were the real heroes, and he wished they received the acclaim they deserved." -- Superman Returns. ...Wow.

DC seems to be pushing Superman away (or maybe it's just me) I'm so glad their Superman fans out here. This video is amazing, I hate how every idiot is like "Superman is in relatable" he was never made to be relatable, he was made to be inspirational. "And that was the day the boy turned into someone" No matter how many superheros come along, whether you love him or hate him,*the capes and the symbols* he basically started it all. *The Man of Steel* Superman.
Bruh I had to came back to this. This is beautiful. It makes me wish we’d get a proper sequel to Man of Steel. Superman has such an amazing background we all overlook.
The power of Superman is his ability to inspire, to make us believe in the best of us. That no matter who we are, where we came from, we are all capable of rising above. This is the Superman I grew up loving…
You did a great job with this, ill admit it gave me one of those good feelings that sometimes build up in the chest. I wish people could just come together instead of hate, we've such a beautiful planet and could become something truly remarkable if we could stop hating each other for ridiculous reasons.

This was just beautiful, a great tribute to Superman as a character not caring which actor played him, but it gives the Heart he is supposed to represent.
It's amazing how the 1978 Superman movie with C. Reeves stands the test of time. Still IMHO "The BEST" Superman film. Perfect casting. Story telling. Soundtrack. And NO CGI!!! They managed all the SFX w/o CGI...impossible today in a SciFi/Action/animation...
I go to school, where I just don't matter a lot to those around me. I only exist to them when I'm needed or when I'm useful or even then they still treat me like I'm a lower class person. They act like they care but they really just don't. This video just gives me a reminder that Superman is the enemy of a cynical ideal. Superman is the Symbol of Hope. Clark Kent is the man I aspire to be. A man made of hope and all good. This video is motivation. Thank you.
Dr. Fate : And when you show yourself to the world, it will be a different age than ours, Clark. A silver age of heroism that will start when they look up into the sky at you with hope for tomorrow.
If I ever obtained superpowers, the first thing I’d do is go to work on becoming the world’s greatest inspirational figure, a beacon of hope, and to always do right by all because I know that’s what Superman would do. I couldn’t imagine myself becoming a villain, it’s not right and it’s not what the world needs, it needs a Superman more than ever, and I’d to everything in my power and courage to become the worlds actual superman.
In these chaos times it’s good to see there are plenty of good people that still have HOPE! Wonderfully done for the first and greatest superhero EVER!😎
When I watched Superman as a kid the movies with Christopher Reeves I remember I wanted to be just like Superman not because of his powers but because of his character and how he loved and cared about people and the fact that he took his word seriously and that he would do his best to never break his word or his promise and I’ll never forget when I couldn’t look up to my dad. I looked up to this fictional character that made me want to see the world through a different lens to love people where they are and to give people a chance because someday you may find yourself in the same position. So always be a blessing no matter where life takes you on this journey. Cause you never know who’s life you are touching
I never thought a couple of scenes from different movies could make me want to cry now that Henry cavil is no more Superman is a beacon of hope Superman is fictional But in reality he’s more human than we are He embodies hope in us When ever I see that S I see hope I feel hope I see Superman There is no us without hope There is no us without Superman
In these real difficult times, we all have to be a Superman to the people that need it. To keep the hope for those that feel hopeless and to help those in need. To keep the peace and lead as an example to those that are lost and to fight and protest against the injustice that are being inflicted on those who don't deserve it. If you can, go out and help your local businesses and the rest of your community in despair, protect those who help as well. Look to gofundmes if you live far away or want to keep yourself safe, I completely understand, but if nothing else, never lose sight of hope. "Hope is like your car keys. Easy to lose, but if you dig around, it's usually close by." -Superman
This brought tears to my eyes, my nickname is Superman and like Superman I am willing to put my life for them, and I strive to be a beacon of Hope for them. Plus like I like that quote that Kingdom Come Superman said, " Because Lois Even in the Darkest times Hope cuts through, Hope is the light that lifts us out of Darkness" thanks for doing this and help me to become Superman for my friends and family.
Fantastic edit!! Makes me remember what I've always loved about the Superman story. No matter how we might feel about the man portraying him, the legacy is always an awesome reminder of hope. \\S//
What makes Superman truly superhuman isnt his powers. Its the fact that his powers didnt corrupt him.

You captured all the stars who played Superman with honor and hope. If Christopher Reeve were alive today to see this he would be pleased. Thank you.
No Dean Cain?

"Look up in the sky!"
It's not only just Superman. It's the entire Justice League!
They can be a great people if they wish to be. They lack only the light to show them the way. For this reason above all others, I have sent them you. My only son. This brings me to tears every time I hear it. Awesome video.
I was never a huge superman fan till i got older. But this video is amazing.this the the superman the world needs
In time, we might join him in the sun.
why am i going to cry wtf is happening. those scenes from smallville realy hit hard
Cavill's Superman fits with Affleck's Batman. Reeve's Superman would fit with Keaton's Batman and Routh's Superman would fit with Bale's Batman.
Part of me is convinced they wanted to cross over those batmen and supermen just never did.
Bot Force - There were plans for a Batman v Superman movie starring Bale and Routh. It was even teased in I Am Legend with their logos merged together.
@@TheVladMan. that would've been great
Bot Force - Definitely! Especially if it was directed by Nolan.
Routh and Reeve are the same Superman, especially after Crisis on Infinite Earths retconed the post-Superman II sequels after Superman Returns.
This... this right here.
They were the real heroes, and he wished they received the acclaim they deserved." -- Superman Returns.
...Wow.
And the one clip that he’s punching zod, he has no powers because of kryptonite. He’s still fighting to save the planet.
We need a new superman movie that shows everyone what this guy is rlly all about.

@@aniltimsina9779 he’s the only one I’ve ever been able to relate to tbh.
He’s a lovely guy. He always felt like an alien and he grew up to be a great person despite every opportunity not to be. He could oppress everyone on earth but instead he just helps ppl.
His whole planet was destroyed. He's the last of a holocaust. He grew up in the dirt. Finding out slowly how different he was. A stranger discovering every day how strange he was. He has the power to tear the world apart. And he could. With a pinkie. It's not his world. We're not his people. We should be ants to him. Imagine that. Always being on the outside. The pain that would come from always being on the outside. And yet, he took that pain and became the symbol of hope.
A Superman movie unapologetically full of hope.
we didn't get a movie but we did a get tv series (Superman and Lois) about what he's really about
This video is very moving and emotional. It always gets me when I see Clark with his dad Jonathan.
This video shows Superman as the inspirational character that he is, which is possibly his most important characteristic. I hope the WB and CW takes notes from this moving forward with their Superman projects.
Superman - The greatest hero of all the superheroes
This sums up Superman in all his form than anything I've ever seen. Superman will always be the greatest character ever made in the history of fiction that will forever continue to influence people in our world. Thank you for making this video and making my day, for a man shed his tears today.
Whenever I’m feeling down, defeated, and depressed, I read comments like these from fellow Superman fans and feel the light again. You get it.
Superman had the power to become the words greatest threat but he decided to use that power for good and becomes earths saviour.
this is why Superman is a great hero. Not because of his insane powers but because he can inspire others and he is as the video is titled a symbol of hope. He's also possibly the most human of the three main members of the Justice League.
superman is the symbol of hope i wish DC returned too. we need him now more than ever
Superman has the power to destroy entire galaxies and yet, even in the messed-up fever dream Flashpoint Universe, he chooses to bring hope and protect the innocent. THAT'S the sign of a true hero.
Holy shit, this is the best tribute I’ve ever seen
Thank you so much!

DC seems to be pushing Superman away (or maybe it's just me) I'm so glad their Superman fans out here.
This video is amazing, I hate how every idiot is like "Superman is in relatable" he was never made to be relatable, he was made to be inspirational.
"And that was the day the boy turned into someone"
No matter how many superheros come along, whether you love him or hate him,*the capes and the symbols* he basically started it all.
*The Man of Steel* Superman.
Bruh I had to came back to this. This is beautiful. It makes me wish we’d get a proper sequel to Man of Steel. Superman has such an amazing background we all overlook.
This video is enough to make a grown man cry.
That Dr. Fate dialogue is just amazing!
Smallville!
Yes!!!
This is an amazing cut of all the modern versions of Superman! Thank you!
Don't ever delete this, it has helped me immensely...... Amazing
THIS IS THE BEST MONTAGE THAT REPRESENTS EVERYTHING ABOUT WHAT AND WHO SUPERMAN IS. I CRIED! EVERYONE SHOULD WATCH THIS TO REALLY GET THE PICTURE.
2:16 ..."when they look up in the sky at you with hope for tomorrow." That gives new meaning to the title The Man of Tomorrow.
Smallville still owns my heart so much ❤️
This is the best Superman tribute video I have seen to date. Well done

Holy crap man, this was fantastic. Definitely one of the best Superman tribute videos, the editing is so clean. 100% subscribing, can't wait for more
Thank you so much! Been watching your content for a couple years myself. I'm so glad you liked this.
God we really need him today
If I ever obtained superpowers, the first thing I’d do is go to work on becoming the world’s greatest inspirational figure, a beacon of hope, and to always do right by all because I know that’s what Superman would do. I couldn’t imagine myself becoming a villain, it’s not right and it’s not what the world needs, it needs a Superman more than ever, and I’d to everything in my power and courage to become the worlds actual superman.
I'm literally crying. This is so beautiful already and I just started watching 😭
This whole video gave me the feels but when that guy called out, "Look! Up in the sky!!!" I REALLY felt it!!!
And now I'm crying... this was edited to absolute PERFECTION.
In these chaos times it’s good to see there are plenty of good people that still have HOPE! Wonderfully done for the first and greatest superhero EVER!😎
Still brings a a tear to me eye each time I watch this clip.
Thank you. Wonderful editing. And thank you DC for letting me STILL be a child, when I really need to be, at 62 years old.
Superman is the GREATEST being to have ever lived. A pure heart. basically jesus.
Even in the darkest of times, there is hope. Hope is the light. Great line.
I never thought a couple of scenes from different movies could make me want to cry now that Henry cavil is no more
Superman is a beacon of hope
Superman is fictional
But in reality he’s more human than we are
He embodies hope in us
When ever I see that S I see hope
I feel hope
I see Superman
There is no us without hope
There is no us without Superman
For truth justice and a better tomorrow
I wish so bad that there really was a Superman to protect innocent people. We need Superman with the morals of Clark
We don't have super powers, that is true, but we can do our best to help the people around us, to serve, help, encourage others.
Beautifully done. A true tribute to Superman.
Thank you for making this, It was beautiful, I had to see this
In these real difficult times, we all have to be a Superman to the people that need it.
Easy to lose, but if you dig around, it's usually close by."
-Superman
Proud to have the man of steel *S* tattooed on my back!
I come back to this, year after year. It helps. I don't know why, nor with what, but it does.
This continues to be the Perfect Tribute in my humble opinion. Thank you!
Outstanding video!! Superman will always and forever be my favorite superhero & this video really brings out why I love this character so much.
Beautiful clip.Made me cry. Reminded me of an ideal I grew up instilled in me ever since I was a child. That one man can make a difference.
Fantastic edit!! Makes me remember what I've always loved about the Superman story. No matter how we might feel about the man portraying him, the legacy is always an awesome reminder of hope. \\S//
