"He's more human than I am" sounds like the natural attitude of Batman towards Superman, as there are things that Batman lacks, even on a rudimentary level, that Superman has in spades. Batman is technically human, but his humanity is something he's had to shun, or even neglect in some instances, for the sake of being who he needs to be to serve justice; Superman, while an alien, has humanity and doesn't forsake it in order to carry out his duty to the people he cares for.
Hate, no Hate. You cant deny that both Marvel and DC have special things about them that make them different. Yes Marvel is great rn, and well DC will have its time, A masterpeice takes as long as it needs to, to be perfect
Rob Zombie01 I really hope DC does get its time. I honestly hope both franchises make it big. I know they're in competition, but TWO successful comic book franchises? Making awesome movies and tv every year? That's a win for everyone.
I feel sorry for those that are always arguing over who is better. DC or Marvel? Poor bastards are missing the best of both worlds. I love DC and Marvel equally and regardless of whether the movie/tv show is great or not I'll always watch anything released by them.
People will use words like "boring" or "old-school" to describe Superman as if it's some form of criticism. But in the words of another red and blue boy scout, "The world can always use a little old-school."
"And when you show yourself to the world, it will be a different age then ours, Clark. A silver age of heroism, that will start when they look up into the sky at you with hope for tomorrow. You will help them embrace it" -Dr. Fate in Smallville This is a pretty accurate description of Superman's legacy, as the one who started the heroic age and truly the greatest hero of them all. As the symbol of the best that humanity has to offer, our highest ideals and hopes, as well as the fusion of culture with human and potential alien, this truly encapsulates the optimism that heroes offer humanity as the symbol of the best of us. Thank you, HFP, for this and thank you Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster for this gift to us. The world is all the better for Superman's existence in it.
"The world needs superman." We need Henry Cavill! We MUST fight to get WB to understand this! Absolute masterpiece. VERY WELL DONE Sir!! Thank you for this.👏👏👏👏👌👌👌
The world needs a people that stand up against greed and tyranny. That stands together and not divided. The world needs less of our stupidity and more of our kind heartedness. It's a Bird, It's a Plane, It's Superman! Now this is what I call a SUPER MASTERPIECE! The World needs people like Superman a Symbol of HOPE and JUSTICE.👍
I have loved Superman since I was a small child. I watched the 1950's Superman TV show reruns when they were on network TV. He has been my hero since then. It is now decades later. I am no longer a small child, I am in the twilight of my life. But I still have all my Superman comic books, I still have all the Superman movies from 1977s Christopher Reeve up to Justice League. There are lines from the comic books that are burned into my mind and I have carried since my childhood and will continue to carry beyond death into whatever may come. My favorite, "What makes Superman who he is? Is it his power? No, for any child of Krypton would have his power. Is it his wisdom? No, for anyone that lives and learns can gain wisdom. It is the fact that he uses this power, and this wisdom to protect others, and do what is right." I took those words to heart. When I was faced with decisions in my life, I asked "What is right?" He may be a comic book character, and maybe I am an overgrown child... But Superman provided a moral compass before I was old enough to understand religious concepts. Jesus is my savior, but Superman was my hero. Thank you for making this tribute. If I had the skills I would have attempted one myself years ago.
I used to think superman was an extremly boring heroe that was just too powerfull until i saw this movie, then i understood what the character was really about and why he's actually quite interesting
So happy to see George Reeves represented this tribute. His Superman is the one that introduced me to the character and that introduction has influenced my life for 60 years.
That Doctor Fate's prophecy gets me every time. It shows us how Superman and superheroes inspire people, in the best way possible. ''Hope for Tomorrow'' Love it! Great work HFP !
I totally agree. Tom Welling did an outstanding job... for ten years. Should he have showcased Superman flying g more, definitely. I would have liked a studio to stand up and put him on the big screen as Superman, when Tom was in his prime. Many people don't realize that he put his own time and money on the line keeping that show going (producing, writing, etc.). 👍🏼
I used to go to sleep with a superman toy when I was 5...he has always been my no. 1 superhero and will always be no. 1....there is more to this character than movies, cartoons or any form of art can explain..thanks for this video...this was amazing and one of the best ways to portrait superman.
Brought tears to my eyes, especially the scenes which included his dad. I had reached a point in my career where I was about as close as you can be to being the "top dog". And then I lost all of it and more, career, marriage, even was moments away from losing my life. Through it all the one solid anchor in my life was my dad. Never once did he ask me how things had gotten so bad. All he kept saying, and showing, was how I'd overcome the obstacles, how much he believed in me, how much he loved me. I did slowly overcome the obstacles, with dad's help and the help of many others. I was able to return his sacrifices in the last 3 months of his life by having the privilege to care for him. Two nights before he died, in the middle of the night while sitting on the bedside commode he said to me, "No matter how old I get, no matter how old you get, you're still my little boy and I am so proud of you. I love you." Thanks dad, for being an outstanding father and man, for being an amazing role model, for being my hero, and for never giving up on me, even in my darkest hours. I love you too, dad. I look forward to being reunited with you after my work here is finished.
Pass on the message to many more, Jack. There's so much in this world which makes me not want to be kind and helpful. Thank you for sharing and I hope you're doing well

@@charvon.s3350 That's Doctor Fate from Smallville Season 9's JSA crossover episodes. It was part of Smallville's annual DC character crossover thing but really between and the Legion of Superheroes episode before it and what came after in Season 10, it very much was one of the prototypes for what would later become the annual Arrowverse crossovers where you had multiple DC heroes show up to showcase.
Chokes me up every time. He represents the best of us. "Until truth, justice and integrity are the reality, I will never stop fighting.". Call me old fashioned, but I think we could use a little old fashioned in the world today. Outstanding video.
I relate to Superman a lot. This is a beautiful tribute to one of the greatest heroes in comic history. I was in tears halfway in. A true masterpiece. I hope you could do one with Batman with such visionary artwork
I want you to know that I come back to this daily for inspiration. Been dealing with a lot recently, and have been in a dark place mentally for a long time. Finally embracing the light and hope through the many iterations of this character has given me so much strength. Thank you for that, my friend.
With all this Spiderman/Sony/Marvel drama happening lately, this video was really refreshing in that it was inclusive of ALL the various media, stations, series, etc. Opinions, facts, & theories on all that aside, it's nice to have appreciation for what we do have.
All of this is needed today in 2021. Sadly need a true hope. As much as Superman was a creation of two young boy's, The idea of Superman has become real. Let's all make it real together.
Please don’t ever take this down. I know this is about to sound cheesy af, but this video reminds me of hose sermons you’d randomly catch in church where it felt like you were there just to hear one line god sent to you that perfectly fit where you were. Every time I think to watch this video I do, and it’s always after I’ve finally learned a lesson from a long and hard struggle or misdirection, and every time I hear what I need to hear in a way I didn’t before. You’ve put the essence of Superman and all the greatness about humanity that the writers have put into him into such a great tribute, that it becomes a message of something more, reminding me every time I watch it that I can choose to serve a greater purpose, and making me believe (even if it’s foolish) that I can be as good as Superman, and certainly reminding me that I can help people like he can. I know you’ve helped me with this video many times already
The world may have avengers, batman, justice league, watchmen, many more superheroes, but no one can't ever be as great, as majestic, as inspiring as truly good, as incorruptible, as the grand and the mighty one and only superman
"Dreams lift us up and transform us into something better. And on my soul, I swear that until my dream of a world where dignity, honour and justice are the reality we all share, I'll never stop fighting. Ever."
If the character has meant anything over the years to anyone, it's too help people find the hope they need and help those find purpose, when they need it the most. To find purpose, I believe, is one of the meanings of life of which there can be several. That's the trouble over the centuries, people have been looking for one single answer to the Eternal question.
This one video induces more emotion on me than entire MCU combined, don't get me wrong I love marvel comics too, but DC hits different. Love that they included OG JL series, other animated movie/series and CW shows too.
The most iconic and perfect hero of all time. Impossible to get tired of him, smallville really leave a mark on me and Cavill movies were outstanding becoming my superman. It's not about his powers is about him as a person
The madlad did it again. I've been a DC nerd since early high school, but I've rarely felt this proud to bear that label. Some truly amazing stories and ideas have been forged with these heroes, and it was great to see them all brought together like this. As usual, an excellent tribute.
In this age we are faced with moral dilemmas. But we have to remember that the heroes that we have created have come from the very humanity of who we are. Never forget that we all have a bit of Superman in us. USE IT!
Hope is what makes us strong. It is why we are here. It is what we fight with when all else is lost. Even in the darkest times hope cuts through, hope is the light that lifts us out of darkness. For hope is something you give yourself. That is the meaning of inner strength. This is the very reason why Hope is the one thing I believe in. And the reason I write this comment is because Kal-El/Superman is not only a Ture Hero but also a Symbol of Turth, Justice and above all Hope. Because that's what he stands for. Turth, Justice and Hope.
"And when you show yourself to the world it will be a different age than ours Clark a silver age of heroism that will start when they look up into the sky at you with hope for tomorrow and you will help everyone to embrace it" - doctor Fate Superman is the greatest hero to ever live
MoS is great (I've maintained this since release), BvS is a catastrophe. But the good parts are the conflicting ideals of Superman and Batman. And how Batman needs Superman to maintain his hope in humanity.
You made a grown man tear up and that is no small feat. Good job on this tribute, it really hones in on what superheroes represent, whether they are real or fictitious.
I can’t help getting tearful watching this. This is what hope is. This is what a hero is, not the powers or abilities but the humanity and willingness to move forward even in with the fear of losing everything and standing strong despite that.
His powers don't make him super! His heart does. He is more human than any single one of us on this entire planet. That is what makes him super. Ofcourse his powers make him a physically superior being on this planet, but that is valid only on the planet. His heart, the goodness in him, that is something that he embodies in himself and that is applicable anywhere in the entire universe. To anyone who thinks Superman is a one-dimensional character, think twice. Each one of us tries to project our own self on to him. Each one of us tries to be super in our own way. We try to help others, we try to save others, we try to save humanity, we try to save the planet. Isn't that what being a Superman is all about? The powers don't matter, all that matters is if our heart is in the right place. I love Superman with all my heart, not beacuse he is ultra powerful but beacuse he possesses the enormous humility to be extremely gentle with each and every one of us. That for me, is the true definition of a real superhero.❤️ Long live Superman.
"The world needs Superman, and the team needs Clark". This line speaks volumes. The world needs Superman for his optimism and his "never give up attitude". The team needs Clark because of his heart and personality. What a beautiful tribute, I've subscribed and you just deserve so much more for putting together something this wonderful. Thank you.
Thank you for honoring Christopher Reeves in this tribute. He was my most favorite Superman and Clark Kent. R.I.P. Christopher Reeves. We still miss you.
Maybe I’m wrong but, Superman isn’t the superhero you’re suppose to relate to. He’s the hero you’re suppose to aspire to. He’s an example of what we can become.
Jor-El said it best when he told Kal-El that Humanity simply lacks the light to find their way, despite their capacity for good and it was for this reason above all else that he sent his only son to Earth. He wanted his son to be that light. To guide humanity.
Yup! Cried through most of this video. Started bawling with this exchange: Clark-"You must be disappointed, I'm not the person you wanted me to be" Jonathan-"No, you're much greater"
This is the best video on all of youtube and I am so happy and grateful for the job you put into this. the other fandoms synced with the music and editing was so amazing. Superman truly is the best superhero beside Batman, Flash, Green Arrow, Spider-Man and many more.
Thank you for this. Through the years this character has given me hope, courage and helped me find my moral compass in so many situations. It was never religion, I never had a real life role model, no dad to show me right from wrong. It was always, what would Superman do?
I'm seeing this again on Jan 1, 2021... perfect! We need to be the best we can be... and Superman can help us see the way. I grew up watching reruns of George Reeves in the Adventures of Superman. Happy to see he was included here.
This really made me cry. This is why Superman will always be the best superhero - he may be an alien from another world, but he's more human than all of us.

Whenever I feel monotony in my life,I will watch this masterpiece video.Such a powerful and motivational visuals which directly hit into the heart like an arrow.
The only franchise where I don't care how many reboots. The character is strong enough.
Fucking true 🤙🤙
"It is a remarkable dichotomy. In many ways, Clark is the most human of us all. Then he shoots fire from his eyes and it is difficult not to think of him as a god. And how fortunate we all are that it does not occur to him."-Batman
Rob Zombie01 the heroes that they’ve created even without the movies make the necessary impacts to be great so I agree with you as well
Rob Zombie01 I really hope DC does get its time. I honestly hope both franchises make it big. I know they're in competition, but TWO successful comic book franchises? Making awesome movies and tv every year? That's a win for everyone.
Nothing is ever truly perfect but I get what you mean
To me Marvel and DC are both great now
I feel sorry for those that are always arguing over who is better. DC or Marvel? Poor bastards are missing the best of both worlds. I love DC and Marvel equally and regardless of whether the movie/tv show is great or not I'll always watch anything released by them.
@@cyndrical2164 same here mate like you said best of both worlds💪
People will use words like "boring" or "old-school" to describe Superman as if it's some form of criticism. But in the words of another red and blue boy scout, "The world can always use a little old-school."
The world needs more old fashioned notions, like fair play.
"You'll never know until you try, keep testing your limits."
- Jor-El
"And when you show yourself to the world, it will be a different age then ours, Clark. A silver age of heroism, that will start when they look up into the sky at you with hope for tomorrow. You will help them embrace it"
-Dr. Fate in Smallville
This is a pretty accurate description of Superman's legacy, as the one who started the heroic age and truly the greatest hero of them all.
"The world needs superman."
We need Henry Cavill!
We MUST fight to get WB to understand this!
Absolute masterpiece. VERY WELL DONE Sir!! Thank you for this.👏👏👏👏👌👌👌
Agreed
The world needs Jesus Christ
The world needs a people that stand up against greed and tyranny. That stands together and not divided. The world needs less of our stupidity and more of our kind heartedness. The world will continue on for a long time after we after we are gone. Least we can do is fight for what's right and stand for SOMETHING GOOD!
Agreed too
We need Henry Cavill.
And we need Man of Steel 2.
A real sequel in road of Man of Steel....
Why am I just seeing this gold?!
I am actually loss for words this is amazing!
Omg I was NOT expecting this!!
Thank you so much David!
This gave me goosebumps. He is by far my favourite superhero.
OMW I just love Superman. The first, and the greatest superhero of all time!
It's a Bird, It's a Plane, It's Superman! Now this is what I call a SUPER MASTERPIECE! The World needs people like Superman a Symbol of HOPE and JUSTICE.👍
And the American Way!! :[ Kidding kidding :'
I don’t care what people say Man of Steel was such a good dc film
Indeed it was
I agree, it also gifted us another brilliant zimmer score.
@@AlejoDeLeonEdits Dude for real!!! I kid you not I would just listen to the man of steel sound track for hours on end!
It was probably my favourite movie in the dcu
I used to think superman was an extremly boring heroe that was just too powerfull until i saw this movie, then i understood what the character was really about and why he's actually quite interesting
So happy to see George Reeves represented this tribute. His Superman is the one that introduced me to the character and that introduction has influenced my life for 60 years.
That Doctor Fate's prophecy gets me every time. It shows us how Superman and superheroes inspire people, in the best way possible.
''Hope for Tomorrow''
Love it! Great work HFP !
"You're much stronger than you think you are. Trust me."
Every time I teeter to the edge, I think of that quotation and come back. So beautiful.
Smallvile and tom weling don't get enough recognition.
Thanks for that.
hes the best superman
Smallville pretty much launched the DC Live Action T.V. movement we have today.
Eternaldarkness3166 not just dc but marvel too
I totally agree. 👍🏼
Couldn’t agree more! My favorite show!
Man of Steel isn't just a great Superman movie, it's also a slideshow for motivational quotes....
Well the good quotes in this were from smallville
I used to go to sleep with a superman toy when I was 5...he has always been my no. 1 superhero and will always be no. 1....there is more to this character than movies, cartoons or any form of art can explain..thanks for this video...this was amazing and one of the best ways to portrait superman.
"Sometimes you have to take a leap of faith first. The trust part comes later."
“That’s all it is Miles a leap of faith”
"Yeah we could be heroes, just for one day...."
“Leave the door open 3 inches.” ❤️
.. what you say? :)
One of a handful of reasons I used the song in my Crossover tribute.
Well written, well said, concise and very touching.
Sounds like you had a great dad, wish I and many others could say the same
Pass on the message to many more, Jack. There's so much in this world which makes me not want to be kind and helpful. Thank you for sharing and I hope you're doing well
@@jasonpye4649 thank you.
@@ultravolt4555 He was amazing! I'm so sorry you and others didn't have that type of experience. It's a constant reminder of how I should treat my children, family, and others.
I got choked up watching this. It's 81 years of why everyone loves Superman distilled into one video. Darkness and a cruel world giving way to a brighter tomorrow. And we need only look up in the sky.
Except in Man of steel
U look up to see falling buildings coz of Supes LMAO
@@Sbonelo_ we don't talk about Snyderman. But even here it is cut in such a way that even Cavill's stuff gives us SUPERMAN.
Bro please tell me who is talking to Clark at 7:14 the music as they’re showing the dc heroes we know as it’s leading to Superman goosebumps
Again, I have no words. I keep coming back to this, man. Superman is a symbol that resonates with all of us.
The world needs Superman." Thank you for honoring our hero.
I relate to Superman a lot. I had two amazing parents who raised me not to be perfect, but a good man and even with all the harsh times and difficulties I’ve remained strong and I will always keep fighting until I see a better world for the people I care about and I will never let anything take that away from me
7:00 this whole sequence always gives me goosbumps. I like to watch this video whenever I'm in a Superman mood. It's so well done
Superman isnt just a made up comic character hes a fundamental embodiment of a human being that we all should strive to be like, his values his honor and selflessness are something we should all look to mirror there is no peace in war it only destroys every possible solution
I’m an EMT, I probably going to be in the first responder field until I retire or die. It gets Easier to get bitter and complacent. I forget why I do what I was called to do. I watch this video at least once a day to remind me, to at least try and be the best version of myself when I’m out in the field.
I know exactly what the Man Of Steel would say if he met you.
"Wow."
Thank you for your service.
Thank you.
YOU...are a SUPER HERO!!! 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you for your service
Respect, love, and gratitude from me to you for what you do.
Not even a major fan of Superman and this compilation moved me.
Superman will always be the most iconic character we have ever seen.
“I miss you son...”
“...I miss you too Dad.”

This was beautiful thank you so much for showing my friends and me that superman means something to other people and me
I also want a Joker tribute PLEASE IM SO HAPPY HE'S IN MK
Thank you, this superman tribute is one of your best, keep up the fantastic work!
Agreed.
The world may have avengers, batman, justice league, watchmen, many more superheroes, but no one can't ever be as great, as majestic, as inspiring as truly good, as incorruptible, as the grand and the mighty one and only superman
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🤝
Thank you for everything Henry. Sucks so much that you’re no longer playing Superman.
"Dreams lift us up and transform us into something better. And on my soul, I swear that until my dream of a world where dignity, honour and justice are the reality we all share, I'll never stop fighting. Ever."
Superman maybe a fictional character. But I have always looked to his inspiration at the lowest times of my life. He stands for something.
Superman is not here to save us; he is here to show us how to save ourselves.
In this age we are faced with moral dilemmas. But we have to remember that the heroes that we have created have come from the very humanity of who we are. Never forget that we all have a bit of Superman in us. USE IT!
This video exemplifies why Superman is the greatest hero written.
This is the heart of DC Comics.
"And when you show yourself to the world it will be a different age than ours Clark a silver age of heroism that will start when they look up into the sky at you with hope for tomorrow and you will help everyone to embrace it" - doctor Fate
Superman is the greatest hero to ever live
People didn't like MoS and BvS when they came out. But starting to appreciate them now.
Me: Men are still good.
The Snyder director cuts are all so good. Snyder understands DC more than most and I’m so grateful for his trilogy.
God, Smallville is easily the most underrated piece of Superman media out there.
And what about The New Adventures of Superman?
@@ChroniclerOnline That one was very Underrated and is definitely my favorite.
Loved and hated it
I can’t help getting tearful watching this. This is what hope is. This is what a hero is, not the powers or abilities but the humanity and willingness to move forward even in with the fear of losing everything and standing strong despite that.
R.I.P Richard Donner, you helped us believe a farmer's kid from Kansas can fly
Superman is more then just a hero...he's a symbol...a symbol of hope.
That's exactly right
His powers don't make him super!
I'm French and my first Superman was Christopher Reeves and today I love Tom Welling in Smallville !! For me Superman is Tom Welling💗💗
What I love about this video is how it starts as a tribute to Superman and ends as a tribute to the whole of DC. Because Superman IS DC.
Thank you.
Superman is my favorite for many reasons. A god trying to be human. This is one of the best Superman tributes I’ve seen by far. Great job!
Thank you for honoring Christopher Reeves in this tribute. He was my most favorite Superman and Clark Kent. R.I.P. Christopher Reeves. We still miss you.
A hero isn’t Super because of his powers, a hero is Super because of his good heart and the courage to never give up
Maybe I’m wrong but, Superman isn’t the superhero you’re suppose to relate to.
Started bawling with this exchange:
Clark-"You must be disappointed, I'm not the person you wanted me to be"
Jonathan-"No, you're much greater"
The part were Batman admit his friendship and respect for Superman statue when he died was so sad.
This is the best video on all of youtube and I am so happy and grateful for the job you put into this. the other fandoms synced with the music and editing was so amazing. Superman truly is the best superhero beside Batman, Flash, Green Arrow, Spider-Man and many more.
I play this one over and over again; perfect combination of scenes and music; makes you cry, makes you cheer, makes you think you can fly!
Superman is the greatest superhero of all time and one of the greatest fictional characters ever. No contest.
Goat superhero for sure
He's Superman,
He is the Man of Action,
He is the Man of Steel,
but above all else he is the MAN OF TOMORROW!
Thank you for this. Through the years this character has given me hope, courage and helped me find my moral compass in so many situations. It was never religion, I never had a real life role model, no dad to show me right from wrong. It was always, what would Superman do?
Your comment I actually found quite touching.
I'm seeing this again on Jan 1, 2021... perfect! We need to be the best we can be... and Superman can help us see the way. I grew up watching reruns of George Reeves in the Adventures of Superman. Happy to see he was included here.
I swear every tribute or AMV you make is Oscar worthy
From the visuals to the music choice to which quotes you choose to add
Keep up the amazing work
This really made me cry. This is why Superman will always be the best superhero - he may be an alien from another world, but he's more human than all of us.
When life beats me down .....I watch this vid and find Hope and a reason keep pushing forward
Idc what people talks about Man of steel but it will always be a part of my life.
This is best superhero origin movie. 💝
Even though he's a fictional character. This man changed my life. I mean with Superman, everything feels that everything's going to be alright. It just makes me feel so hopeful❤️LONG LIVE THE LEGEND OF THE SUPERMAN, WOLRD'S GREATEST MAN AND SUPERHERO
Heroes get remembered but legends never die.
@@jasonpye4649 I believe if the world believed in Superman's ideology, we could had been icons ourselves. That's what he's all about. A guy from a small town who became someone, something bigger than life. Although a fiction, he's well....I got nothing to say. Superman is everything ❤️
this is so beautiful, and yet since the New 52, I see a growing number of people who set out to hate and question Clark Kent, wanting him to be nothing more than Superman, and Kal El
DC is wonderful! And Superman is the greatest Heroe of all times!
“What a blessed life I turned out to have.”
“Is everyone safe? Good that’s all... that matters”
