    How did he miss-out the 2.7 Bi-Turbo version??

    • @RivieraByBuick
      @RivieraByBuick 6 років тому +2

      2.7 was dropped in spring of 2001. judging by the green trees it is a summer of 2001 in the video.

      maybe in the uk. Other markets had the revised 2.7 until end of production. This is confusing actually because as far as i know the C5 was facelifted in 2002 not 2001.

      no, that is for all markets.

    • @Scouter98
      @Scouter98 6 років тому +1

      no it is not. Look on any european or american auto site and you will find enough 2.7T facelifts. The 3.0 replaced the old 2.8 but the 2.7T remained and was received an update going from 230 to 250hp.
      Interestingly my car was registered in 2001 and by the vin it says 2001 model but its a pre facelift so im pretty sure the facelift was for 2002 model year.

    The allroad is such a beautiful SUV wagon sedan even to this day I've always lusted after them but of course they are incredibly unreliable. The 4.2 version is going to be more reliable than the 2.7 turbo but still I would never trust it. The air suspension is such a weak issue, sure the same could be said of many cars with air suspension even Alexis, but this particular one on the A6 was extremely problematic

      I like german cars, BMW is the best. Audi is Rubbish. Mercedes is overrated. BMW is the best

      +Franklin D. Roosevelt Heh. Audi is overrated while BMW is not? How do you figure that? All newer German cars are worse than their 10+ year old counterparts. They are less reliable and maintenance costs have gone up. The only difference is, that buying a 10-15 year old Audi generally means you won't be spending a fortune on simple maintenance and some minor repairs, whilst it's the opposite with BMW's. Not to mention build quality. Really, the only thing buying a beamer over an Audi gets you is that it's purely RWD, whereas Audi's are either FWD or AWD.

      I don't see the point in hating audi lol I think all bmw, audi, mercedes are really good

      Newgenerationisbg That's the biggest wall of shit i've seen in quite a while. This is not true at all. Audi has suffered from major quality issues throughout 2004-2010. They've gotten much better now, but only time will tell. BMW has been good except for the electricity in the early E60's. And don't come with some BS "oh well i had 3 cars that broke down". Either you're shitty at taking care of your car or the previous owners were spoiled brats and didn't care for maintenance.

      J Gripen I accept the correction, I was indeed wrong. Suits me right for answering without doing significant enough research. I have since improved my knowledge vastly, and yes, Audi suffered their biggest shitty quality period from 2004 to 2010. They have since VASTLY improved, and I am aware of this now. As far as the E60 goes, I am aware that it's an excellent automobile. It's the best in it's class from that time period, although it did slightly lose it's edge in terms of being a "driver's car" somewhat since it became a bit fatter. I am a fan of Audi and generally prefer most of their cars over their BMW or Merc counterparts. The exception to this is the A6 up to the C7 RS6 (which I think is just about the perfect car, but that's personal opinion). Before the C7, BMW reigned supreme in the segment of the large luxury sedan, and with good reason, the 5 series is amazing.
      I also agree that maintenance is the key with all of these cars. Yes, they may tend to be (significantly) less reliable, but with proper care you can make sure that it lasts a long time with few problems.
      However, BMW has also suffered from standard reliability issues, although not NEARLY as much as 2004-2010 era Audi. That's not to say it's unexpected from a luxury brand, it's part of the package. You want a cutting edge luxury car? Well, there's always the possibility that the brand new tech might go wrong at some point. Otherwise, you could wait for another manufacturer, like Honda, to implement that same tech a few years down the line, but you still won't get the luxury or driving experience that a Bimmer or Audi provides.
      Have a nice year mate!

    The impressive v8 european engine is the reason y audi and mercedes are overrated. They both r made by state of the art technology and sculpted to perfection no wonder they last up to 20 Years without major failures
