Congratulations to @debbieburns8140! You win the MCM giveaway candlesticks from last week’s video! Please email me at the email in my description box so I can get your shipping info to mail them to you :) Thanks for watching everyone! 🎊
Oh thank you! I know what you mean by relatable. Things normal people could have the time to do in everyday life when it's not their whole job right? 😊 I have a full-time job as well as a 4-year-old so I do what I can!
I love how you put the baby’s breath together. The 2 shades. I will be on the hunt for something just like that! The print ideas too. I’m going to look into that. I love the way the chest of drawer turned out too.
@@TashaatHome YAY! I I’m getting all caught up watching today so I will be ready to go! 😄. I want to come to Duram for a weekend sometime to thrift shop. The ones you have are so inexpensive and large!
Goodwill Buy the Pound Outlet- it's my new favorite place to thrift. I have found so many incredible pieces in the bins. Lots of faux greenery, baskets, home decor, wall shelves, organizers, craft supplies, ribbon, Christmas decor, etc. Lots of brand name things. The items that end up in the bins are random. It's not just for stuff that didn't sell etc. I've found pieces from Anthropologie, Crate & Barrel, & CB2. Lots of Target & HomeGoods items as well.
For sure! I love by the pound stores! There is not a Goodwill one super close by though. There is a small one run by another organization that I visit every once in awhile. I love it!
I’m so jealous of these thrift prices in other states. I can’t believe the brass napkin rings were .25c a piece! I just saw TWO of the exact same ones for $7.99 at my basic thrift store, here in CA.
@ukurikiatkas I feel the same way. The prices at thrift stores, estate sales, yard sales, etc. are outrageous in NYC. I guess that’s the way it is in CA. & NYC 🤷♀️.
Tasha, just found your channel last week!!!! I have literally binge watched your past videos and just caught up to the newest one this morning. I can't believe you are a "baby" youtuber LOL Not only are you are so creative, but your content is concise. Great job.
Thank you, I really appreciate that comment 😊 Yes I am very new to UA-cam! As for being concise, I always have it in the forefront of my mind not to go on too long about things so as not to be boring, so that makes me edit pretty tightly 😂 Thank you so much for watching! Glad to have you here!
Your tip about neutralizing the yellow on your dresser is a life saver. I have some pine pieces that I love but they have turned orange. This tip looks perfect for me. Thanks
Brilliant idea I don't like the yellow orange tones either and I love the final look of the piece❤ Thanks for making something so beautiful match our own taste and it wasn't a major make over...so much faster and easier😂 God bless your day😊
Hi Tasha You are always inspiring. That is what I am doing too…making the house look more spring like . The dresser looks nice with the orangey tones gone. You have the most amazing prices . I love what you did in the family room. I did that in the living room then needed the table to put our pottery plates, cups, bowls , casserole set out so I moved it to the kitchen. I loved those napkins and I was saying get that frame..so cute. We only use cloth napkins and when I see a set priced reasonably I get them. One dollar is amazing. I love how you compare what you get to more expensive brands. I think I told you last time that we went to three estate sales the week before and the prices were up. This past weekend I got a Pottery Barn striped canister with lid , a plush bunny ( washed and dried it ) for my little four year old neighbor, a beautiful ceramic bunny, a cute skirt to wear with my denim jacket, a hammer for me, a cat book for my neighbor ( the mom) and my husband got two things…paid five dollars for all. The guy said it was seventy five percent off day. I think I got ninety percent off. I think he was in a good mood. Our thrift stores are too high and they never have what your has. That tree where you were thrifting was beautiful. Our forsythia is blooming and soon our dogwoods will…Spring is coming. Tasha , how do people leave their homes the same way all the time???I change ours out on a regular basis. Thanks Tasha..always good “seeing “ you, your thrift items, and your beautiful home. Your kitty was very interested in what you were doing. 😊❤❤❤
It does sound like the guy at the estate sale was in a generous mood haha! That is so nice of you to be on the lookout for treasures for your neighbors. Our neighbor brings our little girl gifts every now and then too and it's so kind. I'm always baking, so in return we share baked goods with her. It sounds like you got some really great deals! I'm with you, I can't sit still at home and I'm always tweaking something or another. I appreciate your comment as always. Thanks for keeping on watching!
I was glad that you didn't paint the chest of drawers. It would be a shame to cover that lovely artwork. What a wonderful fix with the gel stain! I'm definitely going to try it. Thanks for sharing your spring decor ideas.
Hi Tasha, I am so thrilled to have found you! Absolutely love your videos. Packed full of great ideas and SO inspiring, that I had to pause this one to look around my house to find things to suffle around and use in new ways. Thank you, I am a new subscriber and am looking forward to all your content here. With warm regards, K
Thank you so much, welcome! It's so satisfying to move things around and get a fresh look without spending anything at all :) Sometimes that's all I do, although I love to incorporate new things too of course!
New subscriber here! Love that you didn’t paint the chest of drawers! The new muted tones definitely improve the look. Also love the way you styled the pomegranates, the color just pops! You’ve got some wonderful understated style that’s so classy! I’m delighted I found your channel!
I never thought of canceling out a wood undertone - for too red we need a transparent or semi transparent green stain. Like the gray to cancel the yellow the green will cancel the red! Blessings!
Right! I'm on the hunt myself. I see regular green stains but would love to find a gel stain that would work the same way this did. My kitchen cabinets are red toned and until we eventually renovate I'd love to camouflage the red a bit. Thanks for watching 😊
I like the glaze you've used on your chest of drawers, looks really good! I saw Walmart had fresh baby's breath in their florals yesterday...$4.97 for a nice size bunch. I'm planning to grab a bunch to dry out, love decorating with it. You have a beauty home! Thanks for sharing😊
The bundle at Walmart was decent size for that price..i thought about grabbing a couple and drying them out so I'd have them for awhile. I think the size of it is worth $5
Thank you for today's inspiration as it's Senior Day at 2 local thrift shops. Really liked the chest of drawers after you finished adding the Gel Stain.
I'm only really commenting to help push your videos to others...lol. I do find so much inspo in your videos, I cannot believe I only recently found your channel! You are quickly becoming one of my favorites creaters here on UA-cam. I've got to slow down on all the content with all the new hauls. I'm spending more money each month on new decor. I mean it's beautiful but I need to get back to thrifting and diy decor.
The dresser is so lovely!! All of your finds are so good!! I got the Margot bag!! I have been meaning to email you. It will come in handy!! I love it. Thanks again!!🎉❤
If you use some silver or Nicole colored rub and buff or just dab on some gray or silver paint onto the handles of the chest of drawers, you will find that your toning down of the yellow tone will be enhanced even more. The black or dark color of the handles seems a little too harsh of a contrast....I think.
Hi Tasha 😊 Love those pomegranate's they really are so realistic! I also thrifted an oval frame like that , i found a silhouette of a lady on Etsy & it looks perfect in it. Great find on those linen napkins !
1:17 I have that same blue vase! I bought mine at a thrift shop (in the northeast) about 2 months ago! I paid maybe $7 or $8. 12:56 oh my gosh, and I have that same sage green waffle throw, which I also thrifted. Small world!
Tasha, your decor style is so refreshing and unique. That said, I want to copy 😄😄your rug at 18:30 . Would you mind sharing where you purchased it from? It looks like it might work well with my living room refresh.
I had never heard of North Prints before your channel. I’m excited to check them out! Where do you print larger size images like the one over your bed?
Sometimes CVS and sometimes Staples. I use these mainly because they are close by and I can go pick them up same day usually. But there are so many online options. Walmart has been hit or miss on color accuracy for me. I believe on Northprints site they have a list of printers they suggest :)
I thrifted the same exact vase that you showed for $44.50 for only $4.99. It's the exact same color made by Southern Home. That price is outrageous even for brand new! I think someone made an oops.

Wonderful thrifting! There are so many videos of cheesy looking decorating and thift store finds. This is so refreshing and high end!

I DO SEE the subtle toning from the gel stain! Good tip 🤩
I’m so jealous of these thrift prices in other states. I can’t believe the brass napkin rings were .25c a piece! I just saw TWO of the exact same ones for $7.99 at my basic thrift store, here in CA.
Yikes! It does vary here from store to store, so 25¢ isn't the norm persay. Wishing you a great deal of some sort soon regardless 😊
@ukurikiatkas I feel the same way. The prices at thrift stores, estate sales, yard sales, etc. are outrageous in NYC. I guess that’s the way it is in CA. & NYC 🤷♀️.
Yes very true here in Florida everything is so pricy
Very expensive in both Maryland near DC and the Seattle greater area. Q
Same here in El Paso. It's almost as cheap buying new.

I had never heard of North Prints before your channel. I’m excited to check them out! Where do you print larger size images like the one over your bed?
I print mine out at CVS or Staples usually! If you go into their online photo centers you can select the larger sizes 😊
❤❤❤
It's. Beautiful. My son and I did. Our. Breakfast room. Table and. Chairs. 2 years ago. 0
That is awesome!
You're so lucky in the US. Here in England, the only homeware you see in the charity shops is ugly 90's junk or manky, broken, old lady tat.
We can't find nice items at our Goodwills anymore
Kentucky. 😢
Sorry to hear that! Here's hoping you get a stroke of good luck despite the selection 🤞🏼🤞🏼
Try Bowling green if you're in the area. They're the best!

Do you yard sale? That would be fun!
Oh yes! And yard sale season is just starting up. Exciting!
Great! I will look forward to going "with" you...

Looks fabulous!! But please clip the tag off that towel...its hurts my eyes! ;). :)
🤣 Haha oh no! Which towel do you mean though?
Move that harp over on your lamp, and it will be straight
