The caboose is used for shove moves. Not sure about the shed, but the railroad has a proper shop and offices at the other end of the line in Ringoes. The railroad is 16 miles long, but only has a couple of customers beyond the area near the interchange shown here.
This was a Saturday morning. I know they changed the schedule since it was routinely Wednesday and Saturday, but I believe they are regularly operating on Saturdays again.

That caboose at the 1 min.mark--- thats not the ex-- MM&A caboose that was on the train that blew up Lac Megantic, QUE, is it??
No, but that caboose is also part of the Black River roster.
