I think they should remake the MGS games in chronological order, starting with the days of Naked Snake / Big Boss up to the days with Solid Snake / Old Snake. 😊
We all know Delta will be a success. A lot of fans, both old and new, are looking forward to it. And they're already working on the next remakes (probably MGS1 & MGS2).
If Konami wanted to be bold, they would make a remake of the original Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake. I've never played them, but I'd love to experience them with modern graphics and controls.
Also a prequel to mgs 2 following otacon and snake teaming up to shut down metal gears around the globe would be sick, you can title it mgs philanthropy
If they do these remakes to introduce new people to the franchise, then I think it's crucial to remake them in chronological order, to not confuse anyone. Otherwise new people might be scared off if they release them out of order. I previously thought that Ground Zeroes / The Phantom Pain and Rising: Revengeance don't need remakes, but now I think that they too should get remakes, here is why: First off, Ground Zeroes and The Phantom Pain should just be combined into one game, and secondly, all the unfinished cutscenes should get added to complete the game like it was originally intended. I already love Rising: Revengeance, so just bringing it into Unreal Engine 5 would be enough for me. The remake could potentially be called Metal Gear Solid Rising: Revengeance, like it was originally announced.

I think this because mgs4 finally being available on other platforms besides the ps3 is too big of deal to just be thrown into a collection. A publisher wants about 3 months or more to market the game also so that can push this back to late this year or early 2025 so lets see if Gamescom or TGS got the official release date. I would love for them to remake all of course. But the one I also would love for them no to forget about would be MGS Peace Walker remade for modern consoles, with modern graphics, and for me quite frankly would prefer they do actual cinematic cutscenes instead of the artwork. People that would oppose that I would say if you like the artwork, then just go play the HD Collectors edition. But for a full remake the would have to make that game more similar to The Phantom Pain gameplay wise and level design wise I would think.

They did add extra games, I do think that is a bigger game than the small ones in vol 1. depends how they fit as mgs4 will be pretty big. others might be small so could work.
