@@tottalynotcMGSV is easily available still on modern systems and PC we're never going to get the cut content because the majority of the cut content is from the long cancelled 3rd part of MGSV I'm sure we'll see some of those ideas come to fruition if they ever do MGS6 but that's not likely
Who would have ever thought we would see the possibility of Konami becoming good guys again, what a crazy timeline.
I think the narrative changing but truth is Konami help make MGS for over 30 years regardless of Kojima wanting to leave to make his own studio they konami were there from start. Kojima personality was key to some story and fun stuff but konami did all the lifting and its a team effort. Glad both are making games is all.

It is good to hear that they are willing to work with Kojima again, even if it is a far fetched reality.

It bs to buy sympathy from new fans. OG fans know it's all bs. They kept asking Kojima to go back to MGS and then they shut down most of his ideas, ideas that were brilliant just so they could feel like they had Kojima on a leash. Now that Kojima is successful with his own studio they talk about Kojima, now they want to work with Kojima and now they want him back. Now they want his ideas back but when they had him they mistreated him and fired him. They stole MGS and the Fox engine from Kojima when Kojima paid for that engine because Konami didn't want to make it and then they used it to make Soccer games and THEN they make a MGS3 remake and didn't upgrade the Fox engine to make it but instead used the godawful UE5 engine that is plagued with all kinds of issues. Metal Gear Solid games run buttery smooth only MGS4 doesn't smooth because it was an early PS3 title but Kojima made MGS:TPP run on the PS3 and is arguably the best looking PS3 game.
The choice to use the UE5 was very bad. This game will run very bad like all other UE5 games and it will take months for them to fix all the issues like every single UE5 game out there. All we OGs can hope for is for Konami to give the rights of Metal Gear and Zone of the Enders to Kojima.

@@chechenko_9430 UE5 is an unoptimised piece of crap. It has only released a handful of successful games and 95% has been trash. Unoptimised trash that runs like crap that is the consensus of the UE5.
@@SWOgottaGOyou realize Konami is a company made up of a ton of people right? Just because Konami heads did that, doesn’t mean everyone at Konami Agreed. The people who did that are mostly gone now anyway. There’s blame on both sides for what happened there.
Damn... even tho the Survival Viewer looks good, i genuinely wished everything regarding the Survival Aspect of the game would be updated into realtime shenanigans. Having to pause your game everytime to do stuff gets so abnoxious after some time, and breaks the flow of the action so much.
Adding realtime menus and animations for the survival features would not only make things visually far more intuitive, but also add a whole new level of immersion and an unique feeling to the experience, since having to pay attention to your surrondings while managing your stuff surely gives a great level of tension.
To not let this mechanic interfer with the flow of the game, they could make Snake only sustain *SERIOUS INJURIES* AFTER an alert phase or a boss fight, outside this, his HP decreases normally, reflecting the desperate and realistic scenario of a soldier in a war, where the level of adrenaline during a moment of tension is so high, that you don't feel the pain.
where did you see the survival viewer? I watched the entire video and didn"t see it.
I guess they want to keep that analog aspect of manually changing the camo through a menu because it would kinda conflict with MGS4's octo camo and it is able to change automatically.
1000% , this n crouch walk was ALL I wanted but the game is already done atp so theres zero chance n them adding realtime survival mechanics 😣😔💔EVEN if they delay it I still dont see it happening, would require a ton of work
Master Collection needs to have MGS4, TTS, PO, PW, GB, and the Acids
VOl 2 we will see, at the moment they dropped 7 games in Vol 1 so why not 7 more? hehe but lets hope for the best.

I agre he been open and honest, they read a fan comment saying MGS is dead and he was like "Look we doing our best to right the ship" basically so for me thats honorable. All we need is good games thou that will cure the rest imo. BTW did you check out the MGO stuff?

They put MGO in survey for a reason like they did with MGO1 theme was playing briefly in David Hayter part 2 video and they had director of MGO2 in the episode and he brought up he was the director of MGO2 if these shows are pre recorded way head they probably announce MGO in one of these Hotline episodes he didn't speak much in this episode

If they do MGO again, they should take tips from MGS4's MGO, and what made it great and what didn't make it great (poor access to the game). Also I'm definitely going to be using legacy filter, undecided on the camera angle right now.
MGS4 engine is dead. It will never come back. MGO2 was glorious but it's over. Let it RIP.

Its actually not, they been making MGS games for over 30 years, it was weird when they stopped imo. lol
@@MetalGearExplained well yeah, but they went all pachinko games with their releases. Like Konami hasn’t really been involved in the game dev industry since 2015 mgs5 I guess mgs survive does count, but they fumbled so hard. Now they wanting to remake silent hill 2 and mgs3? Feels a bit weird I guess. I hope it doesn’t turn out like a dumpster fire.
I love kojimas work a lot MGS was one of my favorite games , it’s the first game I’ve ever played, but the fact that he’s the reason why David Hyter is not in mgsV. So I’m glad that this guy actually caring about what we say. Btw bro I’m glad you answered back to one of my comments thanks you. MGS3 this is the first one I played when I was younger and now that’s the collection edition I’ll literally go broke for it 😂😂😂
They fired the guy that made MGS3. Kojima is no longer working for them.

MGS4, PeaceWalker and MGRR is what's NEEDED for master collection's volume 2.
MGS4 has been locked behind PS3 for a really long time, and a port of it for newgen consoles and PC is probably the reason why Vol.2 is taking so long. PeaceWalker has the same problem with being unavailable on both PC and newgen consoles, however considering there is an HD port of it from Bluepoint already made, its probably already done. Rising on the other hand is still available on PC and sort of on XBOX(only if you bought it for 360), but nonetheless an ACTUAL port of it for newgen consoles would be great, especially considering that this game alone in 2021 probably was THE sign for Konami - people WANT metal gear.
Some might say to add MGSV, but its easily accessible on both modern consoles and PC, so there's really no need to add it into master collection, except if Konami will add the long cut third chapter which is HEAVILY unlikely.
Portable Ops could also be included as bonus content, sort of like Snake's Revenge and MG for NES in volume 1.
I want some delta figures. I have all of the games unopened and also opened copies to play. Some more figures for the display shelf would be awesome.

I hope MGS4 and MGS: Twin Snakes will be on Master Collection Vol 2. I also hope MGSΔ becomes a series of remakes, I’d love to see one of MGS2 especially since it’s my favorite game in the series.

We are not. If you don't have a 4090 you won't be able to play this game on PC and it will have many issues on consoles because of the UE5. It will be a godawful experience on consoles and PC if you don't have the latest and most expensive hardware. This game will get a lot of hate when it releases. You will see.
Something I came to realize is that Konami won't be able to release a new MG game ever. They need Kojima in order to do that. The only thing they can do is either make remakes of all previous games or keep launching all this special edition mumbo jumbo. No more than that.

I hear you on the kojima thing i love him but I also know kojima didnt make any MGS alone. it was hundreds of konami staff and what people dont know is the staff came up with a ton of the things we love about mgs. yet we credit kojima for everything which isnt true. That said a new MGS can be made, will it be masterful like the others who knows but they can and most likely will.

No info on MGS MC Vol 2. Your video is a joke.
Actually I do speak on it as much as the info there is allow. The chart they made said things fans want to see and I pointed out MC VOL 2. There wasnt more info on what it will come with so I didnt address it but I do have a video about VOL 2 I made check that out.

Luck Konami and luck Meta Gear Solid Delta. No Kojima = no money. I hope this game fails and hurt them. I'm a fan that played the original MGS on the Playstation back in 98. I will never forgive Konami for what they did to Kojima and how the kept asking him to come back to Metal Gear just to shut down most of his ideas. MGS4 was supposed to be much more of what we actually got because of Konami. Kojima's war economy was going to be a huge part of the game and Konami scraped it and I will never forgive them for all the troubles they put Kojima through.
Say what you will about the higher ups in konami but the current development team deserves none of the hate. Okamura himself had been working with kojima ever since policenauts and even directed and produced the original zone of the Enders game, a game in which most people give kojima credit even tho he had no involvement whatsoever. And also don’t forget that it wasn’t just konami telling kojima what to do with his games and ideas, there have been numerous interviews with members from his dev team that say that they’d have to work around and change a lot of kojis ideas
@@HAJI_777 Not my problem. If they remained with Konami it means they also hated Kojima. Plain and simple. I hope this game fails so Konami can go back to make Pachinko games with the Kojima made and paid for Fox engine.
@@SWOgottaGO good lord you’re ignorant😭 kojima has been successful with and without konami, same goes with okamura who’s now lead producer for the franchise going forward…it’s been 9 years both parties have moved on, the fact that konami even allowed okamura to even say kojimas name proves that, not even mentioning how okamura is open to even working on a metal gear title with kojima if it were possible.
@@SWOgottaGO so unless you have an actual criticism towards the remake or dev team other than bringing something up from almost a decade ago, then move on. The original games are still there for you to play and no one is forcing you to play the remake. Not only that but kojima has been wanting the series to continue without him for years now and now it’s time for that with the remake to let a new gen of fans experience it
