When Muichiro killed Gyokko, it was just another Tuesday for him.
I mean he did achieve the Demon Slayer Mark, which isn't just like a walk in the park. Not to mention, after that fight, he was barely standing. In one piece, yes, but he was poisoned and wounded and lost consciousness.

20:04 Yoriichi never gifted him the flute.
It was a gift from Michikatsu to Yoriichi from way back when they were kids cause he felt pity towards him. Later during Yoriichi and Kokushibo' final confrontation, after Yoriichi died due to old age Kokushibo slashes his body up and found that Yoriichi still had the flute with him after all these years.
Maybe Kokushibo chose to keep the flute as a sign of remembrance.
Mixed feelings do be like that. He hated his brother's prowesses, envied his abilities and strength, but loved him nonetheless.
@@Gazing-09I think it was like a mirror thing, Yoriichi and Michikatsu are twins and thus look very similar (not the same but almost). Yoriichi is the one face he could never forget no matter how long, so even though he keeps saying he hates him, he's actually hated himself for what he's done and what he's become and so he's using Yoriichi as a memory mirror.

It’s slightly more nuanced then that, Kaigaku stole money from the temple, and when he returned the other orphans forced him out into the night alone(without Gyomei knowing). The area was known for constant demon attacks, so the other orphans essentially threw Kaigaku to the demons. When he was found by a demon, he was given an ultimatum, remove the wisteria protection to allow the demon to eat the other orphans or die. He obviously chose the former because they were the ones who put him in that situation, leading to the tragedy.
Which makes his utter defeat at the hands of Zenitsu more satisfying, Kaigaku (not unlike Hantengu) had always lie to himself and others to ensure survival, but it wasn't enough
After various battles within the Dimensional Infinity Fortress the remaining Upper Moons are killed by the hands of various Demon Slayers. The last member, Upper Moon Four Nakime, ends up being killed by Muzan Kibutsuji himself to stop the Dimensional Infinity Fortress from being controlled by his enemies.
One of the best characters with the most growth, Genya, didn't deserve to be ignored 😢

Kokushibo gave up, if he didn't see his reflection he would of blitzed and one shotted the hashiras get outta here
I hate how plot armory all the upper moons death from 3-1 were.
Like you couldn’t just At least let the slayers kill them in a creative way.
This is why I hate poison characters such a cop out.
If Shinobu had been shown consuming the poison or just used the amount of poison she needed in battle it would have been more fulfilling

I think the most epic anime fights are still akaza v rengoku and demon slayers v upper moon 6. I like the second more and think it is the best animated fight so far. But rengoku is just too cool not to include. I cannot wait for zenitsus fight with his fellow student. My brother is an anime only and thinks zenitsu is trash (and I can't blame him). But I keep telling his when he comes good he becomes godlike (pun intended).
Their fight was kinda short, tldr zenitsu uses his new move and insta kills him

2) I didn't see the demons as weaker, I saw growth in Tanjiro due to his past fights..
