- Hi guys in this video I show you how you can bleed the brakes by your self using the one person bleeding methop. Please like, and subscribe, THANK YOU!!!!!
Can I swap my rusted bleed screw before pumping out the old fluid? Or is there any danger if introducing air when swapping out the bleed screw?
Nice. You’re supposed to start bleeding from the rear passenger, then the rear driver and then the front passenger and finally the front driver side. But it should be fine.
You wanna bet a pizza 😅
That’s the old school way. 10th gen is different. Great video. You did it the way it supposed to be.
How about not commenting on something you know nothing about? Honda mechanic here and not only does he do it correctly, he even shows you my manual. I charge $250 to do this exact job.
@@__emmanwell__Do you press on the brakes for each bleeding on all four sections?
@@timothylee2772 yes
Dumb question, but is 1 quart enough?
Thanks for these videos man. I’m doing a brake bleed fluid change, transmission fluid change, and cabin air filter for a friend today stealerShip wanted to change 600 for all three services
Best vid for the 10th gen civic yet. Well done!
Thanks for the help!
As ur pumping the brakes is the bleeder open or close?
Open of course
Why does the brake fluid have to be above the caliper?
Wonder is the bleeding sequence is the same for 11th gen? Trying to do my own soon.
nah they’re all the same line so it doesn’t matter
Do you have to buy honda brake fluid, or any will do?
Honda recommends to use their Honda DOT 3 brake fluid to prevent corrosion inside the brake system , they say if you try other kinds that you can run the risk of getting rust
Noob question, is it mandatory to bleed them when you change brake fluid or you can just pour brake fluid without problem
Yes.
1.) remove some but NOT ALL fluid from the reservoir
2.) add some new fluid
3.) crack open the nut on the caliper
4.) drain by pressing on the brake pedal
5.) until clear fluid comes out stop.
6.) make sure the fluid doesn’t run low on the reservoir
7. Done
@@danielsong1323 thanks for the info bro!
What happens if air gdts unto naster cylider? Is thatvan expensive fix?
@@raczyk buy another bottle ($20) and rebleed them
Hey bro by chance do you know where the ect 2 sensor is on the civic
coolant temp sensor? usually near the thermostat
What was your mileage when you did the first brake fluid change?
Why from the front left?
its what the repair manual calls for not exactly sure why
@@__emmanwell__ has something to do with the abs system.
