I remember my first prell bottle shampoo when I was in my teens mid 1960’s. I ❤️ it. It was the beginning of my obsessions to come with shampoos through the years of my life. Now it’s Silver Shampoos!!😉🤦🏼♀️
I love these old commercials! I also love on Seinfeld when he said he uses Prell the hard stuff 100 proof takes your roots out! LMAO! I loved the shape of the old Prell bottles too.
I have no memory of these women creating hairstyles out of foam, but I do remember the pearl slowly drifting downwards in the Prell. My sister tried that once to see if it really did move that slowly.
It's too bad Prell didn't work as well as the ads claimed. I tried Prell once or twice and it left my hair with a film which felt almost greasy. I guess all that thickness in the liquid remained on the hair. Nothing luxurious about the end result.

Great classic Prell shampoo commercials. They don’t make commercials like that anymore. What memories!
I still use it !!!
Prell is still around today ❤
I remember some ad that boasted, "We've got shatter-proof bottles!"
Some shampoos are thin
Me, 270 pound, 87years old: I’m jealous 😂
I was thinking about this ad today so i had to search for it
I remember the pearl in the bottle! Thanks.
Around 1980, KLOS DJ Frazier Smith said "like two pearls in a bottle of Prell" enough times that I still remember it.
I remember the glass bottle and the concentrated tube and my brother and I getting our hair washed with it growing up.
Good old days

@Warren Hoffman…. So do I …
I do too! The conditioner too
Very damaging and strips the oils out of the hair
I thought it was taken off the market
Still use it! The best!
I'm here because of Jim cornette

Omg the glamour spy!💗
H, the pearls in the Prell! I Love my H, Mr. Bob Holman more than any pearls!
All that nice shampoo, and she wears a wig! 🤣
Did Sharon Tate do a Prell commercial? M. IL.
Little did we know that all that rich luxurious lather would damage and strip the hair and start the country on over washing the hair.
Most shampoos will still do that...
It's nothing more than cleverly marketed SOAP.
A good looking tomato!?
"Tomato" was popular slang for "girl" or "woman" from the 1930s until about the mid 60s...
