Everyone is saying she's stealing from her neighbor, but they don't know what agreements she and her neighbor might have when it comes to the fruit tree🙄
@@UnhingedHarry yeah it is haha. I lived in places where some neighbors had some type of fruit tree and they always said to take as much as you want, because they either are sick of eating it or it's just a bountiful yield and they don't want it to go to waste.
Sorry for the run on.
@@UnhingedHarry I love making jam! Soo much better than the store bought corn syrup crap.
It adds spice even if she isn’t
Why didn’t she say anything about it though?
@@theuniverseisme432 I wouldn't know. Maybe she didn't think she needed to. The best person to answer that question is the lady herself.
Thank you very much for sharing your wonderful recipe! I can't wait to give this a try!
Yes, yes, very good, SPLENDID!
How beautiful! Congratulations!
Great video thanks. Just picked a huge amount of red plums from neighbor. Filled three 5 gallon buckets. Gonna get brewing w/ your instructions!

Good stuff! Thanks for sharing.
Tremendous video and interesting insight Mai. Absolutely love your gadget! I'm looking to cover a fermented plum recipe, so thanks for your inspiration. This helps, as I don't want to waste my harvest of plums, they seem similar to yours. Keep up the great work. Hibb

Great tutorial, going to have a good go at making some wine, the fruit season is upon us, I'm in a contest with my neighbor and I've never made wine before, so, like I said, fantastic easy to follow tutorial. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and skills 🌹👍🏴🇬🇧

This is a wonderfully informative and useful video.
I value that you took the time to make it. That's splendid!
Someone previously mentioned in a comment they would like to know measurements; might i also politely request those. Also please advise, which is the cloth you're putting over the top of your amazing plum mixture?
We also have a plethora of plums & would love to try and follow this recipe, yet we have no measurements.
Thank you chi.
This video is very useful for me..... Simple and perfect method..... Please if it is possible to mention the measurements....
Low-key beat kinda fire
This should have more likes. Your Japanese plums are so beautiful.
Beautiful wine! How long and how do we preserve this wine?

Notice she calls it "This Plum Tree" and not "My plum tree"
@@mcockerham2003 notice how you're an asshole for being concerned about "your" and "it" you Fucking wannabe English teacher asshole piece of shit!
@@user-th6xg5of4x has nothing to do with grammar, he's talking about her taking fruit from a neighbors tree
Nice demo. I need some fresh plums to eat. They don't grow here!
❤❤❤❤❤❤
I want to try this now, how many plums or pounds of plums do you recommend? And how much liquid do your containers hold? Sorry it would be my first time.
Hi. Interesting wine.. I also want to ask, after a wile, more than 6 month upto few year are your wine color change? The mean change is like reduction of the color become clear wine. Thank you
Thats alot of work.. I use 3 lbs of chopper plums, 5 lbs of sugar, 3/4 gallon of spring water, the throw yeast in. Let it ferment for a month..and wait for it to get clear. Just put it all in a 1.4 gallon container and let it sit.
That smile on her face the whole time just said it all
“I’m about to get F’d up tonight”
🤣🤣🤣🤣
From her neighbor's plums. OMG
Dont b an ass
I like to get F'd up too..
She’s an old lady like your mother 😀
is this like "Kisen Plum Wine" :) thank you
Your Presentation is Very Good. Very gently explanation. I would like to get this kind of device to squce the fruits. Kindly tell me where can i get it form. Thanks and Regards, Raju.
Can you use a juicer?
Is it surf to eat the leftovers that you have extracted the juice?
Thanks for the informative vidio, I can't wait for the grape wine vidio after you steal them from your neighbors. Hahaha
Hi, so you don't need a air lock for the final fermentation process? Won't the jar burst if the pressure builds up?
Watching this process, I imagine there's not much fermentation going on at all during the secondary phase. It's probably not very high alcohol content either, probably 7-9% which probably almost all occurred during the primary fermentation. This is a great method for someone who doesn't have a lot of home brewing equipment or experience but it's definitely not a process that's gonna get you a nice ,clarified, 11-13% abv wine.
LOL!!!LOL!!!!!
"relaxes" your whole body.......
too funny Ms. Mai
😂😂😂😂😂
Her husband is lucky to have her
There was no air vent on the secondary fermenter .I am surprised it didn’t explode.
I don't know, but fermentation + sealed glass container is not usually the best idea (if you do not make a bomb)
Hey can you get me some of your neighbors plums? I'll have some of those grapes too. Lol
Me too!! They look delicious lol I need to buy one of those fruit thiever sticks
Who was in the studio
probably not gates2hell
Is it me or she stealing the neighbors plumbs. :^D
Was thinking the same hahahhaha
She takes the plums and gives the neigbs wine. Issa win win🍷
Lady, you need to use an airlock in the second stage fermentation. Very important.
Just curious is that a must? O thought without an airlock it can be made fizzy?
@@jayjiang yes I suppose so but won't be very nice. Might be too much pressure at that stage anyway so could explode. For carbonation you can always still do that after fermentation is fully completed more or less, plus waiting till the end properly will also allow for a lot of the haze to clear & sink to the bottom.
Unless you want an inferior product....
One of the plums in a group of old plums in my kitchen smelled like alcohol which is why I'm here
Hi Mai! During the second fermentation, do you store the wine at room temperature?
Hi The Jack HQ, I store the wine in a room that's kept at a temp of 75 degrees which is the room temp of the house . Thanks for the awesome support by always commenting and asking questions. Have a great day.
My Basil Leaf-Vietnamese-Asian And American Comfort Food Recipes Thank you Mai! You have a great day as well.

How to make plume wine from the neighbours plums 😂😂😂
*enthusiastic Asian voice* STEP ONE, STEAL PLUMS FROM YOUR ASSHOLE NEIGHBORS PLUM TREE. MMM, DELICIOUS!
Can I use a different fruit?
you can use any fruit that has sugar.
Hi, I made it sort of but the problem is I added the sugar water all at once
If anyone reads this, can you please give me advice on how I can fix it?
Hi Ana did you add the yeast to the sugar water? If you did you should be alright.. just remember to stir the must (Mashed Plums and sugar water with yeast) twice or more daily. The yeast need oxygen to multiply eat the sugar and create the alcohol.
How strong is the plum wine you made?
Hi Karima, about 14% alcohol by volume.
Can you tell me the approximate alcohol percentage please 🥰
40 percent approximately
69%
Im make this with avout 2kg of must. How much sugar should I add in total. The link says 4 cups.. but you amount in the vid looks smaller..
Hi Ryan, (4 CUPS IS THE Minimum) for a good wine 6 cups can help boost the alcohol %. Also using a combination of regular sugar and raw sugar
@@mybasilleaf Thanks My! I will get it up to 4 cups :) I really like your low tech easy to follow method by the way! Thanks for sharing!!
At 2:42’ why do you squeeze out the juice? Can I skip this part?
Hi Hang, mashing the fruit before adding the yeast and sugar releases nutrients the yest need to multiply and helps in the fermentation process-there-by producing more flavor and more alcohol making a much smoother Plum Wine. Hope this helps~Mai

I love Japanese hands, it make everything perfectly
Too bad you can't recognize when you see them...and when you don't.
I’m a little confused… I thought that you had to wait a minimum of 10 months before you can drink the wine? After the second fermentation?
Mimimum of 10 months? Lol I used to make this stuff in jail in as little as 10 days sometimes and have it be pretty strong.
@@goudagrishhdoe8925 it’s crazy how little people know about what they drink
