Trans Men Society I’m late to the party. I’m a cis male. I naturally grew a beard but to add more health and make it come in darker/stronger was minoxidil and biotin pills. Men’s vitamins help too not only for beard health but also keep me going with vitamins and minerals. Perfect for a transitioning person. I sadly can’t relate to being trans but support al of you! what if your not taking hormones yet?
I am currently using the Regaine Foam and it did A LOT to my face, I started using it at 8months on T because I felt super disphoric about my non existing facial hair, now I'm close to 10months on T and got nice tiny beard which I have to shave every 3 -4 days.
Also my genes werent the best, my dad got his first facial hair in his 20s and my granddad even later.
Does old spice have that quality to?

WARNING ABOUT MINOXiDIL/ROGAINE: DON'T USE IF YOU HAVE CATS. If you put it on before you sleep, and you have cats that sleep on your bed at night or in the day, it will rub off on the pillow and then onto them. This can kill them very easily. I learned this the hard way, my dad started using minoxidil a few years ago when he was starting to lose hair and it killed my cats. This isn't very well known information so we didn't know until it was too late. He no longer uses it. I don't know if it's bad for dogs or other animals, but I'd say to avoid using it entirely or just be really, really careful if you have cats.
2022 edit: Yes, he thought he washed it off enough. No, that didn't work and the cats still died- it took several months before we noticed a problem but when we did they went fast and fucking painfully. Be careful please.

Did ur facial hair get darker? Cuz i have dark brown hair but my facial hair is ofc blond ish, i keep shaving it tho hoping it will grow out darker

Is it a special type of oil or just any coconut oil?
Mixing baking soda in with shampoo and then slathering it on your upper lip/facial region/ anywhere else has helped me grow hair quicky (also quite nice for your head hair as well)

you need to be incredibly careful with baking soda, you can get chemical burns.

personally mascara looks unnatural but using a brow brush with a tiny amount of brow product helps naturally bring out the bit facial hair i have

since minoxidil is toxic to cats rosemary oil is a great substitute! i use it myself and have great results
I have 2 cats and would like to grow a bit of facial hair to pass as a 17 year old more I alr pass its just the lack of facial hair and height I'm alr taking vocal training so my voice a bit deeper but thanks for letting me know I don't want my cats to die
Essential oils are also bad for pets, be careful!

All blonde fellas struggle with that, beard may not be seen but if you shave it with an electric razor it gets nicely prickly and that's nice to the touch ☺️

I recommend using beard dye which is henna based!
Race matters. The men in my culture (Native) don’t have facial hair. At all. At least not in my tribe unless they are mix. Facial hair isn’t a gender thing. It’s a race thing. Some races even the women have facial hair, so I try not to see facial hair as a sign of passing/not passing. I’m half white. The only thing growing a beard would do for me, is cause me to have a hard time more often on my own Rez.
I will definitely use these tips after I get my next haircut 👀👌🏻

without anything(hormones/T) I have a small amount of "beard/moustache" so using this advice I'm hoping it helps more. Great vid!
I was also picked on before I even came out as trans for having a 'girl moustache'. Haha, jokes on them, I'm hairy and trans, and my hairiness only makes me more powerful lmao

I'm 19 and desperately want SOMETHING. I do have some facial hair here and there, but it's like very soft so I shave it off so that I don't look like a werewolf. I have one regular dark hair growing on my chin (yay), I'm so happy about it, I've named him Jimmy lol. I'm considering minoxidil but I am blonde af so I don't know if it's gonna be worth it.
Update: Jimmy has been joined by his brothers Timmy and Kimmy and has a newborn brother on the other side of my face.

I know this is late but I have this hair growth oil stuff that my mom buys for my hair. It’s called “wild growth hair oil”. I’ve been using it for facial hair and it’s pretty useful. In the one week I’ve been using it, my small mustache is pretty visible. It is around 9 US Dollars. I hope this helps!

My family has a lot of facial hair, my bro is 12 and he already has a noticeable mustache, my dads a Bare and my mom has whiskers, i even have a lot of body hair and if you touch it, big peach fuzz, haven't started doing anything but i have a lot of reason to believe it won't be hard to get facial hair if i try

I have some natural "miniature beard" on my jaw. But it's too thin to be seen, even if i color it black. I'm pre-T and i'll also try Minoxidil. Luckily i have very much hair, even on my legs, without any help. So i think the chances are good that i can actually grow a little beard with minoxidil.
Here’s a tip for trans dudes with blonde hair, you can dye the facial hair if you want, any color, it happens sometimes with cis guys, I know a dude who’s ginger with a blonde beard
Minoxidil just help me a LOT with the disphorya.
You can also grow your sideburns out and use shaving cream and rub it in and kind of stick it till like your face and it works really good somehow

Not mentioned in the video but coconut oil clogs pores so keep that in mind if that is something you worry about
I might try rogaine. I'm pre t still for a multitude of reasons atm, and I have been working on growing it out for at least a year now. I have some fuzz but not the amount I want. Like I want some stubble, so anything I am willing to give a shot if it's safe.

I have peach fuzz on my lip (since 4 grade) and now several wiry hairs on my chin (now 25) i feel like these tips might really help. I don't even want a viking look lol

Tip the liquid manixidil is way cheaper you can get one bottle for like $8
im now almost two months on testosterone (16 years old) and prior i already had some hair and im trying to stimulate growth, the coconut oil isnt for me because due to testosterone my face is very oily now! im gonna try rogain i mean over time id be good because genetically im already hairy and both sides of my family has beards and stuff!
