Because of the Kerr of the saw blade you should be able to pull the saw need back without lifting the head. I used to run a bandmill and that's how I did it without any problems. If your comfortable trying that I think it would be less messing with the head every time. Just a thought.

What you can do is pull the cut boards off with the saw head at the end of the cut. Then you will have clearance to slide it back and drop another inch. No need to raise it first.

The saw and powerlift work great. Looking forward to the next video. In for the Adirondak chair project if you film it as well.

Looks good. Could you zero the lift at the start of each cut so that it would only go up 1" and you would only have to press the down button once instead of multiple times for the next cut??
Have you used cottonwood before? I have lots of cottonwood available and am curious how it could be used?
Looking forward to seeing the power feed.
    Thanks for the video

Yes. Others have also mentioned that idea, and I found out that it was programmed that way for just that reason. I have never used cottonwood before, but looking up on the internet, it seems that it can be used for a variety of things. It is definitely not a rot-resistant outdoor wood, but I do think that if I prime it and paint it, it will last for a while.

Thank you for the video, i love my dream garage in the background 😊, soon hopefully, this spring 40x60, did you put heat in the floor ? New subscriber here.👍👍I'm thinking if you zero it out each time , after the cut ,it will move down the one inch?

Hi, Thanks for the sub. The shop is 36x36. No floor yet but it is planned for the spring. Not planning on a heated floor. Sounds like your shop will be much nicer when done. I have found that you are right about zeroing it out either at the beginning of the cut or at the end. Learning more each time I use the lift.

I would love to see the real-time lifting speed. The speed continues to be my biggest concern with Epicsaw.

Hi, thanks for watching. I have not had any issues with my woodland. I have had several forestry management people look over the forest and they say that it is a healthy forest.

You should Talk to the Company you Bought The Control Motor from, You Shouldn't have to Restart Height at Zero again.
