I used to be a professional dancer for Carnival Cruise Line. Sorry for all those that thought this was to staccato. As a trained dancer, I thought this was excellent. He took advantage of each and every beat of the music and turned it into to something unique and never done before. Unless you are or were a trained dancer, you'll never realize the magic in this dance routine. I would love to have performed this. Great job DEAN LEE.

I don't think many people understand that this is based off the MDNA tour choreography. Which is more mechanical, angular, and rigid. It's not meant to be like vogue; rather its a take on what Madonna's MDNA tour exemplifies.

If they remixed Vogue a bit hiphop/Jackswing it would have worked better. With that said, I did like this dance routine but should've been in depth well to the song to avoid divided comments.
Their movements fit with modern or R&B pop music. But the real choreography it´s not so sudden and fast, less stiletto and needs more vogueing, be more stylish.
No, because the Vogue choreography is iconic, all the 80's 90's retro music like classic House, Techno and fashion fits more with the voguing, it's more believable. It's not a matter of being just fashionable but genuine. I know that they want to do it contemporary using more stiletto.
This is not a contemporary update. Even when Madonna updates this song for her tours there is still style and grace without the need for such hurried movements. It does not fit the song. And, vogueing may not be mainstream fashionable but it is still done in places if you knew where to search, maybe YOU should be more informed and less condescending.

While I agree with some of the comments here, I'm a former Carnival Cruise Line dancer and studied dance for over 25+ year now. I actually thought this was really good. I love interpretation and making things different. Yes, Vogue should be fluid in nature, but this is rather an interesting take on the music. I would love to have been in this number.
