- So I attempted Boho Twist on my Natural Hair | Never Again - Here's Why!
It took too long friend, lol, that's it! The hairstyle itself is easy but the amount of time it took to finish was insane, close to 3-4 hours.
I used flexi rods to curl the pieces I left out, the curls were beautiful, however I should have made them thicker so they were more noticeable.
At the end of the day the curls didn't hold and this hairstyle was a mess. I took it out immediately.

Sad to see this style was a bust. Although your hair was stretched, the twists became "puffy" after a while. They overshadowed the tiny curls. I think tighter rope twists or braids would have a better outcome.
Every hairstyle isn't for everybody. But I've feel you. I would be upset if it didn't turn out the way i wanted it to.

Yeah they came out really cute but I finger coiled the ends, braided my natural curly hair, and just put gel in the lose pieces. It also lasted 2 weeks and was easy to refresh with some water and gel. I maybe could’ve left them in longer but the roots start to get frizzy.

When the curls fell after the Gym, I wouldvevsslvaged the style by grabbing a few twists, loose strands and all, and either twisting them into a bantubknot, or tightkybwrsppingbthem onto a flexi rod. Just turm all the twists into big curls, the end. Sorry it didn't work out! 😢

I love watching your videos! Sorry it was a failed. You are 100% correct you really couldn’t tell where the small curls were. Yes you should maybe do them thicker & maybe just maybe do it with some hair coloring too (🥰). Personally I haven’t tried the bojo braids.. I feel like is too time consuming 😅
So let me tell you, I get my natural hair twisted all the time, it’s been about 3 years now. One day the lady decided she was going to do that to my hair because she wanted to, I didn’t like it because to me that look is like it’s been done a while already. Not my style, but it’s ok on others and you.
How long did it take to do? Yeah I feel like women like the “messy” look now.
