    Thank you,
    I was on a different video and a woman in comments said to twist the hair on roller, I didn’t know what she meant, but you demonstrated that really well. This method should really make a difference. Your curls came out perfect. ❤

    I am good until I get to the shirley temple part. It looks so easy to do but my brain and fingers are not connecting.🤦🏽‍♀️ Definitely, going to keep working on it. Great video.

    Your set looks bomb! Great tutorial! You showed and explained all the techniques really well and thanks for showing the back! Lol, the Shirley Temple twist is always a learning curve for me , but you made it look easy! You also reminded me that I need to go and get a long metal pic, like yesterday! The short plastic ones don't reach. Your personality and vids rock! Keep the vids coming!!

      Omg thank you so much!!! I’m so happy the video was really easy to understand!!🤍🤍 once you get the Shirley temple twist down, it’s hard for your sets to fail if you let them completely dry!! And yes metal pics for the win!!! I really appreciate this comment!! Much love to you 🤍🤍

      I washed my hair then blow dried it before adding the rollers!

    Hi love your video I’m definitely gonna be trying this on my type 4 hair. I was just wondering how many days do your curls last with this style? Also would you recommend adding a little bit of hair gel to the routine for extra definition and longer wear time?

      Hey babe!!! I’m so glad you enjoyed the video. This typically lasts me a week but sometimes I’m able to stretch it to 1.5 weeks by doing an updo with the curls. I little bit of gel won’t hurt but i def recommend only a little. You don’t want your hair to get weighed down or crunchy from using too much!! Best to use an alcohol free gel as well 😇

    how do u prepare your hair to go to bed so that the curls last?

    • @nayslayerr
      @nayslayerr  9 місяців тому +3

      There’s 2 different ways that i do it! Really just depends on the day. I’ll put a dot of oil in my palms and do 1 of the following:
      1. Put my hair in 5 satin ponytails and put a bonnet on.
      2. Pull my hair up into a pineapple with my scarf and put my bonnet on
      Always sleep with a satin pillowcase.
      I’ll make a more in depth video on this soon!

      @@nayslayerrThanks for the tip! Here’s my concern…Even with the 5 ponytails, etc, your hair isn’t flattened at night? I attempted this once and woke up with flattened curls-legit squished to my head 😅 How are y’all sleeping bc I’m clearly sleeping wrong? 😂

      @no.6377 7 місяців тому

      @@Shaye.onthescene that's what I'm trying to figure out. With my normal wash n go styles, once the gel locks the curls in, fluffing out the squished curls will bring the style back every time. Maybe it's just a matter of ensuring the rod set is completely dry, with enough product to make sure the curls are _set_ (against any and all forces) .
