@Xavier Rodriguez You should always bleach the bath after you use it, we do anyways as all the dead skin etc can make the bath pretty dirty

Its better to be obsessed with cleaning, than not bother. The only part I disagree with, is changing the loo seat that often, and putting the cat outside sopping wet, without drying it with a towel first. I really like and respect Dan.

She seems really insensitive, I would understand being a bit defensive because her living standard is embarrassing but he has a medically recognized disorder and he isn't being outright rude and he's visibly struggling but he's gone there to help her and to expose himself to situations out of his comfort zone and she's being so apathetic

@@sinceresong9907 really? Every cat I've owned hates water. My mums kitten soiled itself (she found him abandoned when walking the dog) and it took two of us and many scratches later before he was clean

He hated me for months after wouldn't come near me and hissed at me whenever he saw me all I did was hold him whilst my mum washed the shit and piss out of his fur

Dan is right. That was pure laziness. Immature and making excuses for disgusting hygiene. In Australia when we rent, the real estate firm who manage the property do routine inspections to make sure homes don't get to this disgusting level. They would have been evicted long ago and the property rented to someone who actually gives a sh#%.
Plenty of homeless people would be happy to live there and keep it clean. Their lack of hygiene would certainly
be affecting their health. Sleeping on linen that hasn't been washed for a month!!!! Makes my skin crawl thinking of what is in that bed. The variety of moulds in the bathroom would be making them sick as well as ecoli, salmonella etc breeding in that filthy kitchen. If they just did an hour every day that's enough to keep things under control. The toilet. Pure laziness. So ferral. Have some self respect. Dirty little piggies.

As someone who cleans alot as well, someone please alert Dan during the toilet seat scene, there's a stain behind his toilet seat cover.
Dan is terrific! Dan should see a physical therapist to get some corrective/ strengthening exercises to improve his posture. All of that cleaning seems to be affecting his neck and upper back, and making his shoulders slump a bit. Take care Dan.
With Dan he wash his cat and dumps her outside, what is the point? She going to get exactly same germs as before ..if he gives her bath and dry her and live her in house ,after exploring outside that would makes sense...but to wash her and dumps her outside where she needs to roll on grass or something dry out water, doesnt adds up..

The way that cat eats, flicking it everywhere is hilarious. Dan needs to use a pumice stone and a cleaner for limescale, that bleach wasn’t moving it 😂

I clean my house everyday and it is completely normal. This is a shame if you are healthy and cannot clean your house, just because you are lazy.

How can she act like it’s no big deal?!?!? I get so embarrassed if there’s some dust on my toilet and they had literal poop on theirs! That’s so disgusting, she had such a bad attitude. I feel so bad for him because you can tell he’s stressed out and trying his best to help.
I think he is very unkind to his cats. Cats do not have to have baths, they clean themselves, just brush them.

@@tiffanys6747 He's giving flea baths when they don't need them, it's damaging to their coat and skin. It's ab*sive. Only bathe cats when they absolutely need it, like for when they have ticks and fleas or are actually dirty like they were rolling around in something and self grooming won't fix it.
Where are they getting fleas from if they live in his pristine house?

When im in a relationship I tend to be more attentive to cleaning and hygine. These two seem to be having a competition to see who can be dirtier... and not in a good way.

@@elainebassett9553 They're an invasive species and have a tendency to overhunt native wildlife, they can get hit by cars, attacked by larger wildlife, and the many MANY cat fights that happen, oh and unwanted pregnancies! As well as increased likelihood of parasites and disease.
I have been up at 4 am hearing cats SCREAM while fighting. My dad's cat was attacked by a coyote, etc. Cats have also lead several native species to become endangered. If you wanna take them outside, keep them in a specific space, or put them on a harness.
I mean... obviously you don't have to clean your toilet 20 times a day but... I'd way rather do that than have her manky toilet. There was literally poo floating in that..

Like, I don't know if this person really has OCD, it's kinda hard to tell, because you don't give us his thoughts, just the compulsions... so to me, that just seems like a person who is really anxious about cleaning, but not OCD. I haven't watch the entire show but it seems to me you are just depicting people who might to be a bit obssesive with cleaning, but they are not really OCD. So the fact that your show is based on a name of a serious mental disorder that is already heavily stigmatised with "people who are anal, who clean a lot etc." is just really offensive to me. OCD is really hard and also land on SO many kinds of obssessions and compulsion themes.... you can't be "A little OCD" or "kinda OCD". you are plagued with intrusive thoughts that make you feel like ypu have to do complusions. it can be debilitating. It's OK if you use the name "Obsessive Compulsive Cleaners" if ypu also explain about thsi disorder and the struggle. otherwise, depicting this for pure reality show enterainment is just not right.
I agree. Under a lot of these videos they are plagued with comments saying they're " a bit ocd" or "very ocd" like ocd is a descriptor and not a debilitating anxiety disorder. The show kind of fuels the misunderstanding as just "clean freaks" rather than carrying out rituals and compulsions due to anxiety and intrusive thoughts. Its very counterproductive to any kind of education of the disorder imo
Well they do say before the show whether or not the person is OCD *Diagnosed* because they know there's a difference between being anal about cleaning and being actually diagnosed with OCD. They just don't assume the person has OCD just because they're obsessed with cleaning. Also, not every person that has OCD is obsessed with cleaning either, it's kind of broad So idk why you would think they have to explain it.
The point of the show is just to incorporate people who are obsessed with cleaning, Whether OCD or not, to use their love of cleaning to help someone who isn't and perhaps a hoarder or just not very clean.

He is a bit much when it comes to how often he cleans, but they are just gross. My apartment isn’t sterile like his is, but damn I do my dishes, clean my toilet bowl and wash my sheets. I mean basic things they don’t even do, its just disgusting.

Tell that to people who have clinical depression, ADHD, and or issues with hoarding, which is a common comorbidity with OCD.
