OCD Cleaner Tom is shown around Gareth's home. What will he think?
Obsessive Compulsive Cleaners follows people who, by their own admission, cannot stop cleaning and carefully matches them with someone whose home is in dire need of a spring clean. Together these people with such contrasting compulsions explore how their different behaviour affects their lives.

I love this episode. I would watch the entire episode nonstop.
"I use it quite a lot as a foot rest". 🤣🤣🤣 He is funny, I must give him that!
If you don’t care about your home how can you advise me on insurance
Him : the chopping board is there to keep the surface clean
me: I dont think its working mate
I like how Gareth struggle to respond to Tom 's questions....ha ha
Always people get overwhelmed in where to start easier to just close the door block it out 😮🙏🏻
A suppository!
Gareth is so cute. I would love to live with someone with OCD. I’m not diagnosed but I know I have tendency’s. So stressful trying to clean after my partner and 3 cats on a daily basis...
I don’t know why they even bother cleaning that shit, throw that crap away.
I could make fortune if people would hire me.😊
I wanna be friends with Tom.
Hey, what episode is this?
I Do Have A Cat Myself
Why can't he hire a maid once a week? He doesn't have to change his ways and start cleaning...
Has Tom actually been diagnosed with OCD? Judging from his behavior, he seems like someone who is highly organized and likes things extremely clean. This is a personality trait - not a mental illness.
Please be mindful of the language that is used to title videos such as these. OCD is a serious and completely debilitating mental illness. People who simply "like things clean" don't have OCD. I think this misleading association between cleanliness and OCD is the result of people knowing more about the "Compulsion" side of OCD, without understanding the "Obsession" side. People with OCD perform compulsions (for example, let's take handwashing) as a way of alleviating anxiety caused by their obsessions. These obsessions can be extremely different from person to person (some examples: "If I don't wash my hands 5 times, I could give my child cancer next time I touch them." / "If I don't wash my hands 5 times, it will cause a chain reaction of events in the universe and my mother will get into a car crash" / "If I don't wash my hands 5 times, I will get AIDS."). If you see someone repeatedly washing their hands, you might think "Wow! They must really love clean hands! Or they must really hate germs!" , when, in reality, it's a compulsive behavior driven by something much more complex than that. Also, cleaning compulsions are only one type of compulsion that a person with OCD might display. Other types of compulsions include purely mental compulsions and obsessions (intrusive thoughts/rumination/avoidance/thought cancelling/mental repetitions) and physical compulsions (touching things or checking things), among others.
In general, people with OCD struggle with living normal lives, as their compulsions can get so severe that they can't perform daily activities or work. They often need to seek help through therapy - most undergoing Exposure Therapy. Please don't minimize OCD to something like this! It's no different than minimizing depression to "a bad day" or "a gloomy mood".
