Yes, they have me wrapped around their finger. This is an easy project for anybody with daughters, granddaughters, or nieces! #barbie #barbiemovie #easywoodworking
My favorite video that you've made! Enjoy the Barbie stage while you can because soon enough you will be building vanity tables to hold makeup and hair do-dads 🙂
This is my favorite! The girls are golden and the improvised microphone a "macgiver" for sure. How about a small mousetrap on a stick with the mic swatted in it, or a harbor freight f clamp holding it, you could have one of the girls holding it on a string dangled from a cane pole and it could float inland out of frame like a movie blooper! fun stuff- thanks
Just came across your channel. I'm an aspiring woodworker and have two kids (2 year old son and 4 year old girl). I am still in the process of building out my shop since we just moved into a new home....but I can't wait to bond with my kids through this craft. Your videos are amazing and inspiring to be a maker and most of all to be a moment maker as a dad for my kids.
my daughter asked me to make furnature for her barbie aswell, i started with the closet like 3 weeks ago, i am really slow at this. glad to see someone making real progress
So happy you're back in the shop. We need to get that shop insulated so you guys can make more content. Looks like Princess hip is well mended. When the weather gets cooler, may be time to start on some Christmas/Thanksgiving decorations/gifts.
I just found your channel, and I gotta tell you, what I love most about it is these bonding moments with your daughters. My kids lived with their mom 600 miles away after our divorce, but when they came to visit we made something together in the shop... sharing my love of woodworking with them and bonding with them over the process was the most wonderful feeling a dad can experience!
Was it fun? I think it would be a fun project. Mine already have the super-expensive one they sell in stores though. They earned the money and bought it themselves. It was pretty impressive.
They "made" ...... Sure. I have a daughter... I know what "made" me means. 😂 Also my daughter just got her nails done too 😆 so that bandsaw moment had me laughing hard!.
I raised my 2 girls by myself, and cannot tell you how many tea parties, Barbie dolls play times, stuffed animal zoos and living room camps we built. I’ve had more hair clips in my hair and painted fingernails and toes than is fashionable lol. These memories are forever and I’m so glad you are taking to the next step with your beautiful family. God bless!
I can definitely relate to being outnumbered in the household and my daughters wanting me to do their bidding. Great video and great project with your girls!
Fantastic work, dude! You guys killed it! 😃 A tip about hot glue... When working with it keep a small container with water near you. Every time it gets to your skin, just put your finger under the water. Less than a second is enough. 😊 I've burned my self a lot with it... But since I started doing it, it never happened again! Anyway, stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
@@worstworkshop Well, there was no change lately. Too much things at the same time, you know? For example, yesterday I installed solar panels here at home. But I bought some magnetic strips for organizing some tools. It should arrive until Sunday and then I'm going to have some fun there. 😊
i really enjoy your videos. it's great seeing your daughters become more confident using the tools each video. :) the swivel-tray was also a great idea, props to little bit!
Thank you, Mark. She's getting there. You may have noticed she didn't move much in this video, but she can get around. She usually has crutches, but can walk a little now.
@@worstworkshop I'm glad to hear she is able to get around a little, especially so quickly. Of course, Little Bit didn't look she has slowed down, even a little bit. I hope they didn't make you go see that "Barbie" movie. I'm lucky that my daughter is old enough she can drive herself to it. Please take care and have a great week, I'm looking forward to your next video, as usual.
love this channel - gives me some great ideas for projects with my kids! think you could do a bit of a video on your drum sander at some point. its a project id like to have a go at.
As a guy, when I was young, I used to play with Barbies along with my sisters. My favorite one was a Little Mermaid doll because she's my favorite Disney princess. Honestly, I hope one day to enjoy playing with them with my children. 🤷♂🤷♂ Edit: Yeeesss!! My sisters and I would laugh so hard playing with Barbie and just making up stories and different scenarios.
The bench idea could easily be evolved into an outdoor Barbie porch swing. Romantic and fun! A closet can also be made for all those Barbie cloths with a chop-stick sized craft stick closet rod for hanging and with wire and a template it isn't hard to make clothes hangers. There area fair number of toy dogs that are sized well for Barbie, so a dog house is also easy. If your kids have some Barbie-sized doll horses to mirror your real horses, a more involved project might be a carriage or wagon to hitch to said horses. My dad build me an enormous dollhouse out of good thick wood, as a kid, and it got a ton of play value, before it was passed on to friends who got even more out of it. Houses for Barbies aren't as practical, given the dolls' scale, but a sturdy dollhouse is fun at every stage of the build and gives play value for generations.
I love your videos…. It is so nice seeing the young ones grow up learning how to make something out of nothing.. they will be building their friends ikea furniture in college for sure! ❤❤
Yes! I appreciate you thinking about us. In the last video we did a reveal and thanks. But hopefully it won't be too long before it's at least tolerable.
Say what you will about the sacrifices a father makes for his children, but if you've never suffered the searing discomfort of a glue gun burn, don't say anything here. That's not fun - but the rest of the projects and video were awesome fun. As a young boy of maybe 12, I took a few trips to the bandsaw in my grandfather's basement to make dollhouse furniture for my sister's Barbies. At the time, it was an excuse to use the bandsaw and other tools. Looking back, it was a great lesson in confidence and my ability to create things. Princess and Little Bit will not soon forget these lessons!
Lucky daughters. Lucky Dad!
Thank you!
I think we all question ourselves as to whether or not we are good parents. For you there is no question. You are an awesome father. Well done sir.
Thanks. We all question it though. Especially as they're becoming teenagers. It can be scary. I think effort counts though!
I raised two girls also, and know all about being MADE to do something. Great video of great memories.
I plead the 5th! But seriously, it was a lot of fun, and I know we'll all look back on these in years to come.
My favorite video that you've made! Enjoy the Barbie stage while you can because soon enough you will be building vanity tables to hold makeup and hair do-dads 🙂
It's one of my favorites too, and you couldn't be more right. We're getting there way quicker than I'd like!

Thanks! It's not been a very big video for me, but it's one of my favorites too.

Thanks a lot! You're in an amazing period of life. Make sure you make the most of it!
Your voice overs give your videos a certain "the Wonder Years" vibe! Loved that show, and your channel as well!
One of my favorite shows of all time.
my daughter asked me to make furnature for her barbie aswell, i started with the closet like 3 weeks ago, i am really slow at this. glad to see someone making real progress
A fast drying glue helps a lot! If you need any tips, feel free to drop me an email sometime.
Really really sweet and wonderful video. You have a beautiful family.
Thanks a lot!
Super funny! I will be making more things for my daughters. I only hope that they will be making things with me at some point. Love it, good job!!
I think they will, Scott. Right now you have to go into their world. Later they'll want to come into yours.
So happy you're back in the shop. We need to get that shop insulated so you guys can make more content. Looks like Princess hip is well mended. When the weather gets cooler, may be time to start on some Christmas/Thanksgiving decorations/gifts.
Thanks, Tom! I've been in there, but the girls have taken a break. Princess is getting better, but has several months of recovery ahead.
Beautiful ! Well done Dad.
Thank you, Andrew!

Thank you so much. I can't imagine how difficult that must be, but it emphasizes how much we need to treasure the time we have together.
Thank you for your very sympathetic videos!
Glad you like them!
Outstanding, now do the doll house did my dream house or should I say cabin for daughter

Thank you very much! I'll make sure to pass that on to them. I don't know if they realize how much they're improving.
Awesome job teaching the bandsaw. Man we love that tool.
Thanks. I need to tune mine up soon and get rid of the drift.
It's great to see Princess moving around so well! That was a great idea for a project for the girls. I hope all is wonderful with you and your family.

Thank you!
Nice job! I try to keep my kids involved in my outdoor projects too! Keep it up!👍🏻
Thank you, Johnny! I think it's part of our job as Dads. That and embarrassing them.
@@worstworkshop 100% agree to the last statement! You got to keep them guessing. 👍🏻👍🏻
I love it. That's awesome.
Thank you!
As a Fellow outnumbered girl dad, this video got some sawdust in my eye.
I hate when that happens. Thanks for watching!
love this channel - gives me some great ideas for projects with my kids! think you could do a bit of a video on your drum sander at some point. its a project id like to have a go at.
I plan to when I can get a break. I need to rebuild some of it based on how I've learned to use it. When I do, I'll make sure to film it.

All great ideas! After figuring out how to build a highchair, I've decided there are very few things that can't be built in miniature.
your videos with your daughters make me smile. they are learning so much more then woodworking.

What a nice video. Great to see you getting the girls involved. They are the stars for sure
You're 100% right about that!
Pedulla Studio cant compare with this!
It would be interesting to see what kind of Barbie furniture he'd build though, wouldn't it?
Did you finally get an AC in the shop? I've been taking a break till it cools off here in Texas lol. It's way too hot in my garage.
