- Spring garden tour is the best garden tour! No bugs, lots of potential and good stuff growing and nearly ready to harvest. I somehow manage to mess up the names of at least three plants and forget to tell you what kinds of tomatoes I'm growing so get ready for a wild ride ;)

I love a garden tour! June really is when everything is taking off. The tea garden will be really rewarding, I think. I really enjoyed having my own herbal teas this past winter. I grew cat grass for my boy, and he was decidedly not impressed. 😂🐈⬛️ Catnip fresh from the garden, however, he was much more into....
I really need to get some catnip going! The cat grass is definitely not a hit
Grape vine can be cut back to a stump every couple years once they are established.

I know nothing about flowers but I do like the food aspect of garden, my garden this year is off to a bad start but still got time to catch up! Next year I def need to add some trellises, makes climbing plants so much easier
absolutely love your tattoos btw, the themes of plants and such all being in black/gray/white even the thigh tattoo, makes them match and look so clean!
Flowers aren’t my strong suit either! Only if they are edible 🤣 and thanks! I wanted them all black and gray so my friends kids could color them in and they’d match all my outfits and each other like you mentioned hahah. Plus they just age better that way imo!
@@thecottagepeach I'm unfortunately very allergic to flowers in general which sucks, I took a vitamin that had some sort of flower i forget which one but my eyes got so swollen and hard i couldnt even open them they almost were glued shut D: so I now pass up on flower consumption lol
oh that's so neat colouring them in! totally agree though, colour is nice but unless its done perfectly and taken care of really well it tends to fade a lot or look pretty crappy... Yours look fantastic!
Hopefully you're not going to need a different "Green House" in a different location when your fruit trees 🌳 are matured.

I had to put my spider plant out of constant direct light and it got a lot happier. I’m going to have to get myself some of those purple nasturtium seeds 💜

This summer is mostly getting ready for next year. I'm just now getting my first raised bed filled. Took me all day. I have 11 Birdies raised beds to fill, so I bought an electric cement mixer to mix the soil. Works great. I get free dirt from a property across town. Lots of shoveling. I mix it with vermiculite, coconut coir, commercial soil mix, that white stuff I can never remember the name. It's going to be great or a bust. Planting something tomorrow. Oh well. Next year it will be better.

What kind of info do you have about lemon grass particularly for tea. My aunt in Mexico grows it and i had the pleasure of enjoying some back in 2021.
I've never grown lemon grass, I know it's hard to start from seed and most people regrow from grocery store cuttings
