I bet you’re a brilliant in person teacher because you’re coming across extremely well in this video. I’ve been coming back to in the past week whilst parked up in me car on top of a mountain every morning trying to practice guitar before work It’s a quiet enough place that there’s be no one put out by the noise I’m currently making. It’ll turn to music someday!! 40 years of playing eh? I’ll need to live till at least 92 to get up to speed!! Challenge accepted.

Great tutorial! I figured Justin’s version out, but this has got that big bill bass line running right through. Very difficult to master- I’m far away!
Yeh, Justin is good for the basics, but he’s no bluesman 😂😂😂 You will get there Anthony, sounds like you want to and that’s half the battle. Think dynamics, ie which parts are louder which are soft etc. if you are into the blues check out my patreon page, loads of stuff there to show you how to play good blues www.patreon.com/joesguitarlessons 👍

Come la volevo io Joe . Molto più reale a quella di Broonzy. Veramente ottimo anche il tutorial . Posso ora sedermi in riva al fiume con la mia chitarra e un whiskey e provare . Ho scritto in italiano perché tu parli sempre in Inglese e ci metto un po' a capire Ahhh ahhh. Grazie mille

Hi Colin thanks for getting in touch. Maybe you could try “Alberta’ ua-cam.com/video/BXCIhZwaUPQ/v-deo.html this is quite a nice strumming song, which is not too difficult. Or you could try something a bit more picky like ‘Baby please don’t go’ ua-cam.com/video/OmP3dWdF7zI/v-deo.html
Well there are two ways of answering that question David, one would be 40 years of playing sure makes it smooth that’s how long I’ve been playing, I have been playing big bill Broonzy for a number of years but if I was trying to learn one of his songs I guess it would take me a couple of days, But like I say that’s due to having 40 years experience. However don’t let any of that put you off these songs are great fun to play, whatever level your at. Sorry for the rather long winded reply but that’s about the best I can do
Thanks Joe! One of my faves. Rod in London
Very welcome Rod

I have also this song in my version on my channel!
How on earth do you play the base at a steady pace while playing melody? My brain can’t handle it
HI,what gauge strings you play inthis guitar? Thks
How long did it take you to get this one down smooth?
Well there are two ways of answering that question David, one would be 40 years of playing sure makes it smooth that’s how long I’ve been playing, I have been playing big bill Broonzy for a number of years but if I was trying to learn one of his songs I guess it would take me a couple of days, But like I say that’s due to having 40 years experience. @@JoeMurphysGuitarlessons Thanks! It doesn't seem to terribly difficult, I'm guessing a week or two for me but I'll see how it goes. ✌😎
Enjoy, I’m sure you can do it.
