Skinningrove, located in North Yorkshire, on the North Sea coast, had agriculture and fishing as its main industries, until the local ironworks were opened in 1848, which started the industrial boom of the village.

My dad was born in Skinningrove nice working mens club Tims coffee house lots of shops ad great holidays there staying with Pat & Bill wilson i still go up but not the village i used to love
I lived there as a boy back in 1962 up the bank at primrose cottage.
