    This video has been a long time coming for me, I originally made a passing video a few months ago but I was not satisfied with how it ended up so I scrapped it and started over. Hope you guys enjoy this one!
    EDIT: I also forgot to add one more tip, you can cancel a pass by pressing LB or L1 when you are holding down your pass. Will include it in a future passing video.

    Thank you for making this video! I've had a ton of trouble passing accurately this year and I don't think it's my controllers fault.

    Sauces def have utility. I love the diagonal saucer from blue line to blue line on the breakout. It's low risk/high reward. Kind of a poor man's BaC long flip. Takes practice to get the feel right. Also use the saucer on the boards all the time in the neutral zone as well. Another good vid.

    • @Brianstormed
      @Brianstormed  7 років тому

      Yeah the breakout saucer was the one I mentioned in the video, though I didn't mention that it could diagonal. I usually achieve the same result with a normal pass though, haha.

    I have noticed that if you're struggling on penalty kill and you want to get the puck out, use saucer pass. It wastes more time than let's say slapshot along the boards and from my experience, clearing the puck by saucing it makes it more accurate as with the slapshot I mainly use it behind my own net by smashing the puck along the boards and even then the animation sometimes clips with either your goal or the boards and you end up missing the puck.
    I also use saucer pass when I'm on the offensive zone and I see that my players are being covered all around me so I'll just sauce the puck to one of the corners where I think I have the best chance of getting it back.

    • @Brianstormed
      @Brianstormed  7 років тому

      That is a good point that I never thought about, the fact that you can miss the slapper to get it out of the zone. That is pretty annoying when it happens, so the saucer definitely is better there!
      The offensive zone utility, though, can be achieved with a normal pass as well.

      Will do! :)...Usually they are once a week or once every two weeks (since I alternate between Team Builds and Player Reviews).

    What number do you have your pass assist on?

    • @Brianstormed
      @Brianstormed  7 років тому +1

      Its currently at 70 so that my Versus Series is bearable. For HUT I prefer it between 40-60.

    Hey on PS4 what are the controls used for the backhand spin pass thing?

    • @Brianstormed
      @Brianstormed  7 років тому

      L2 first for the spin, and then R2 for the pass.

    • @natemckee33
      @natemckee33 7 років тому

      Ohh whoops wrong one I meant the backhanded pass you talked about at minute 16 my bad lol. Great video by the way

    • @Brianstormed
      @Brianstormed  7 років тому

      Thats just stickhandling to your backhand (if you are a lefty, you move the right stick to the right; if you are a righty, you move the left stick to the left) and then you also have to aim backwards as well. So if you are holding the puck on the right, you aim either left or down.

    What's some movember players to invest in? Under 100k

    • @Brianstormed
      @Brianstormed  7 років тому

      I'm not very good when it comes to investing in Movembers. I still think Filip Forsberg has a chance to light it up like the past two years. Otherwise you can look at a tracker like this to see who is close to getting an upgrade: hutdb.net/milestone

    Great video! Turn down your mic gain so you aren't peaking throughout the whole vid

    • @Brianstormed
      @Brianstormed  7 років тому

      Thanks for the feedback, do you know where I would do that? Is that a microphone thing or software?

    • @malcolmsanger
      @malcolmsanger 7 років тому

      Software! Depending on what you use it may either be volume or gain. Basically you're maxing out the input on the mic making it sound harsh. You should be able to find something and then just play around with the sliders and do some tests.

    • @Brianstormed
      @Brianstormed  7 років тому

      Oh okay, sounds like a good time to upgrade software then as I don't see it anywhere in mine. I knew there was always something wrong going on there but I just didn't know what to do about it :(

    • @malcolmsanger

      Audacity is a solid free option. Lotsssss of people use it. It can really make a difference if you just spend some time learning the software you use for recording whether it's video or audio. Think of it like setting your strategies lol

    • @Brianstormed
      @Brianstormed  7 років тому

      Ah yeah, I have used Audacity many times before in high school and college but I don't really like switching between my video editing software and my audio software here (unless thats what people do?..I'm a nub at this haha)

    • @Brianstormed
      @Brianstormed  7 років тому

      Lmao apparently it grabbed the audio of my other video, because I set the global volume for all the videos to a little over the minimum. I forgot it would've grabbed my voice from there :/..hopefully it wasn't too bad but its certainly a life lesson.

      It keeps turning itself on when I switch accounts to record a different series, I got tired of turning it off so I just leave it on. It doesn't bother me. Sometimes its nice to see when there is a delayed offside or the pass trajectory. I don't have an attention disorder where I need to have it turned off.
