+Rich Manchisi well, those are the strategies I usually use, and the best way to get around real players is to cycle the puck around in the opposing zone. Because real players tend to just back up and stand in the slot, so I have been passing around and looking for one timers. And I am a hawks fan so 99% of the time, Chicago.
Works on your goalie against cpu players as well. I've had them score goals on me from the center line off slow wristshots. cpu goalies suck horribly. I even made a pure 99 goalie to see if it works better, but they still score easily off slow wristshots from close to the neutral zone.
when you burn a defender with speed are you pushing anything? used to be r3 and you click it to speed but I can never seen to beat defenders where when I play my buddy, he just basically pushes up and they blow past my guys haha. just wondering if there was any new speed burst tips?

+Dominic Rinallo ok so with a righty, you hold the right stick directly right, left stick goes right so you glide right, then push the left stick diagonally up and to the left, as soon as you do that, push rotate the right stick up to shoot, lefties go opposite. Hope that helps! I know a picture would be better.

Why are the defenders so bad on this? When I play, they're incredible and can get any loose puck no matter what I do. I can barely cross the blue line without being absolutely destroyed and I would call myself a pretty great chel player. NHL 17 is so difficult

+DUBCSTUDIOS25 one timers you basically pass it to a guy and hold the right stick up and as soon as the player receives the pass he will shoot, as for the deke at the last second, it is just moving your stick left to right a few times before shooting, or you can move it left to right and do a toe drag by rotating the right stick from 3-9 on a right hand player, 9-3 on a left handed player then you can shoot. you can do a stride deke at the last second before shooting by pushing both sticks left or right really quickly then you can shoot. as for tip ins, basically you just shoot from up high and if a guy on your team is stand in front of the goalie they might try to tip it in, might not, it is kind of random. but that is really all I can say, this game is much harder to score in

They need to eliminate this shot from the game. So sick of getting scored on by a stupid glitch shots. And if you are saying well you suck because you are getting scored on all the time, look us up Division 1 all through 16. We play the game it was meant to be played. We pass the puck around to open up chances. Not just skate down the ice and try to do a glitch shot.
