restoring those seat brackets is the icing on the cake my freind, looks great👍
Thanks for the shout out Austin... I can't believe that center console arm rest bracket is still in one piece! Amazing 😂
No problem! Its actually cracked on one of the legs, the camera doesn't do it justice lol.
@@OutJeeping LOL Thank God for JCR!
I’m so glad I live somewhere where cars don’t rust.
Needing to do this job on my XJ. I stripped the interior months ago but haven’t had the motivation to start cutting away... also realizing I should’ve kept my old carpet for measurement referencing when I get new ones ....
Fantastic job! Hope I can find time someday to refresh the flooring in mine. Would be the time to replace that center parking brake cable too.
Please make a video addressing the likely cause of the rusty footwells: leaky wiper wells.
Hey Austin I just found out I need to do the same thing to my XJ so I will be following your video great tutorial.
thanks much for these videos. It gave me a lot of hope on restoring my Jeep and rust proofing it. The Upper Peninsula winters are brutal on vehicles. Already cut out the rust and well on my way. These videos are a godsend.
Great job! you took your time and did it right.
Great detailed instruction. Really appreciate the hard work.

Great job.
Amazing!
Good job bro✌️
Thank you for your content. I can help you a little with your welds if you live in arkansas.
🙌🙌
Great video! I've followed a lot of your videos with great success on my jeep.
Do you feel the Mat 66 was worth the effort. Trying to decide myself.
Thanks!
I think it was nice to add but it wasn't a night and day difference in sound. However I didn't do the entire Jeep floor in it yet.
What’s the difference between POR-15 and Raptor coating? Is one better than the other?
One is a bed liner that can handle impacts but surface underneath cannot have any rust underneath it. Por-15 is a great base layer on metal with minor surface rust. The por-15 must be top coated with something as it is not UV resistant. Raptor liner on top of por-15 would be a superior combination.
How do you like the new insulation?
I've noticed it's a little quieter on the inside. I'd like to finish it off and do the rear floor and ceiling as well.
How many days\weeks was it from start to finish on all that?
Took me 6 weeks of a couple hours and a few days a week only. But it could probable be done in a few full weekends.
You should have use the por 15 prep first
Won't make a difference on clean metal. All it is a degreaser and phosphoric acid to convert surface rust to a printable surface. I already removed the rust in this application so there was no need for it.
