So satisfying to watch the whole process. An enthusiast who took the time and came out with better than professional results! These older 70's and 80' and 90's Toyota's are good looking and i think the Chevy, Ford and Dodge guys will agree!
wow!!! I owned a 1980, when I was stationed in Fairbanks, Alaska from 1986-1990, and traded it for a 1978 FJ Land Cruiser. mine was the Toyota factory blue a shade or two darker than yours, also mine had the 20R engine, the predecessor of the 22R and like yours solid axles front and rear... wish I could turn the clock and the calendar back. thanks for the vid. You guys did an absolute fabulous job on the old girl! I really envy what you've done there! I have a 1990 2.8 3L Hilux in mint condition but that still doesnt compare to that beautiful ute!
I have an exact Hilux I bought off my pops, but with a 4Y engine, you sir have given me so much faith in restoring it. This video is more than I dream to do with it, but if you can do this, why cant I? Well done Man. Respect.

Mad skills! I wouldn't have had the slightest in taking out that wiring harness and all the small engine compartment components AND THEN putting them back together...!!!

That truck looked nice unlike mine that sat in a field for roughly 5 year's or more. Got pulling on the high pressure fuel line that goes along the fuel rail then into the under side of the intake cant find a slimier line.

my first truck was the same as this the only thing that sucked about it was NO power streering outside of that i loved it and it had the same paint as you put on ithis one well done and looks awesome thanks for sharing

Excelente trabajo la fabricantes de nuevo la Toyota todo excelente pero tubistes a lo último un pequeño error solamente todo estaba ok hasta q vi el final el tapizados de las puertas hicisteis q se vean los pernos a presión que agarran el tapiz de la puerta es o no se debiera ver en mi opinión y debería ser negro el Tapiz de la puerta ese fue un pequeño error mi opinión pero excelente trabajo amigo hermosa la Toyota hailux

You did a outstanding job on this truck !! Now was this truck a short bed ? A lot of the parts was after market . How you do it? How long did it take to do it ?? Was the engine rebuilt ? I have 82 Long bed . I have 90% original parts but its harder to find rebuilt parts . Where did you get the Decal ??

Lift is to high making the truck look funny,wheel choice sucks,truck is modified,NOT restored to original which would of made it 4x more valuable.
