It seems that the parent domain also needs certificate so https has to be configured for it to work.

A note to everyone saying this doesn't work on their Wix site! Free Wix websites only allow SANDBOXED s, however premium sites are not sandboxed. Embedding your Twitch on FREE Wix sites will not work!

Hello, I am new to embedding, seems im late to the show. I am trying to embed my twitch streams on wikipedia pages that are relevant to what Im streaming. Wiki accepted my iFrame code, but it just reads the code and there is no player. Can you please help me with embedding? The embed also doesnt work on my shopify
I am not sure if they will allow this, as Wiki pages don't belong to you. They allow embedding only on your own pages.
My embedded player on basspig.com stopped working at the beginning of summer.
I modified the code per this video's instructions, but am getting a grey box now with a sad face icon and "player.twitch.tv refused to connect."

Are you sure you entered your domain with all its variants correctly in the embed URL?
I’m sure this works... but no matter what I do it doesn’t fix it for me. Is it a Wix issue still (they are known for not letting you embed Twitch), or should I keep trying?
you could contact Wix support and ask about this, i think it should work, and it might be able to be fixed by their support

I'm trying to embed a clip to my Wordpress free site but it's not working. I typed "localhost" and it gives me a message when I preview: "clip.twitch.tv is blocked and refused to connect" Any ideas on how to solve this? Thank you
What is the URL where you access your WordPress free site? That should be used in the URL parameter.
@@CodeRevolutionTV I used the format: "[name blog].wordpress.com" and I get the "Whoops! This embed is misconfigured". If I remove the "" and just type "[name blog].wordpress.com" it comes back with a message saying "clips.twitch.tv is blocked and refused to connect". It returns the same message if I type "www.[name blog].wordpress.com".
I tried also the "" version (with the "s") AND the "www." and "www." options. They all come up with the "Whoops!" message. The way I'm inserting the code is through an HTML block on my Wordpress blog. By the way, thank you for your reply.

Well, I am not sure if Twitch allows this, please ask their support if they allow this feature.

Ironically, this twitch API update also broke AMD ReLive, since it gets this same error on the stream preview, and the chat overlay doesn't work either

Have you tried adding localhost to the url parameter? For me it worked like this
