- Found out that at 7x zoom, I can align the shot with touch controls! 2 weeks with the Mavic 3 Pro drone was not enough! Having 2 more cameras to compliment the Hasselblad make this a very powerful aerial cinematic beast!

I've flown the mini 3 pro extensively overseas, often in mountainous areas around 1.5km-3km elevation. Yes it can really struggle in strong winds, like 30-45kmph winds which is very scary for the drone, but it will not show in the shot unless the wind is strong enough to overload the gimbal.
the 250g is no longer a feature, as some countries require registration for anything above 100g.
Main draw back of the mini 3 is the RC controller range, almost exactly at 1km the video will start to drop out very quickly, you can fly it in cities or out in the middle of no where, it's range is always 1km. Probably by design, otherwise who wil buy the larger more expensive drones?
Sorry I missed this. Yup general winds are ok, but when it gets really windy then it will struggle, especially in really vast open locations. I was at some dunes and near the sea when hard winds came. Always a good idea to just test it static if you really wanna send it. Yes the footage was stable, but the physical drone itself was bobbing up and down trying to keep locked in location. Of course, I bailed as it would easily deplete the batteries and I have no confidence if it could fight the headwind if im far out. Prolly will make an episode to advise new pilots on this.
Also thanks for the info. Will check out if mine also will give bad recep at that 1km mark. So much for 4kms of clear LOS. Marketing for the win right?

Happy to be back, and sorry for the silence. Needed a deeper look into my finances, as had holidays planned. Kept focus on work as Foodpanda and as a wedding cameraman, and when taking a break on holiday, really found the direction for my channel and right now getting it sorted for the way ahead. Will still make content about drones, but mixing it up with other camera gear for more variety. Also going for more quality than quantity, and wanting to push out YT Shorts too. Excited for this journey and I hope others will enjoy the future episodes. Glad to hear from fellow supporters, and I hope the flying has been great for you. Actually thanks to another YTber, iv managed to have a flight with with my Mini 3, with its RC, AND Goggles 2. Tried it on a Mavic 3 and it works too. After I filmed this Mavic 3 first flight episode, I filmed me trying out the goggles 2 hack. Now in editing, will be out soon! Oh and getting the Motion Controller 2 too as it just arrived in SG. So evaluation segment DEFINITELY on the way too. See you there!
