My God all of them is pain in the ass, I died 20 times to the scorpion lord so I said lets make it later, went for this dude and found the scorpion there I let both faught and guess what I killed the scorpion and didn't get the rewards.
Happiness is having the boss down to 10 percent health and having your transformation ready, tell me I’m wrong lol

That fight though... Was no joke. Almost gave up on this game at that point but then I watched Edge of Tomorrow and was like ... If tom cruise can die 1000 times so can I. All this to get the Weaver's Needle ... Sheesh.

This boss is the worst in the game so far. Every attempt takes like 15 mins and it isn't even close to enjoyable. After I die, I don't even want to try again.

@@karingurganious I'd say it's a contender. It gets a lot more things right than wrong, in my opinion. Opinions aside, you can't deny the work that went into the game. Only Fromsoft has done boss animations as well as this dev team has.
Man, I thought I was the only one that thought that, I killed him on my second try but just from the first try, I was like, if this boss kills me a few times this is going to be very boring
@@alfaomega5532 Unfortunately, yes, it's worth the stress. It makes a huge difference in phase 2 of the chapter boss, which is a harder fight in my opinion.

Upgrade your cloud step until it allows you to charge heavies. Made a huge difference for me in some of these tougher fights.
I don't care if a boss a difficult, but whats annoying about this one is that phase 1 is super easy but takes a long time. So i have to spend a lot of time before I finally get some practice with the real boss. That HUGELY slows down my learning curve of his attack patterns. That feels like like a cheap and artificial way of increasing the difficulty. I don't think I'm enjoying this process enough to continue the game. Was fun though

I completely agree with you. I'm still trying to beat chapter 4 boss without the needle because I don't want to go through this boss fight: phase 1 - easy yet boring and long. It feels like a drag. Phase 2 is such a B ... I'm this close to just not finishing the game which is unfortunate. I'm definitely not having fun with this...
I know this boss is most painful thing in game but you need to defeat him to kill chapter 4 final boss & most important defeat all boss till chapter 6 to fight with erlang & getting true ending I completed this game & man after get true ending that feeling is something else.
My tip is in phase 2 when you are completely sure you can defeat him & you have no healing left your & boss life is low use life saving pill i use it & defeated him
I get it the boss is difficult but it shouldn't take you more than 3 tries to beat him from personal experience and from what my friends and ppl are saying most people take 3-4 tries
If this boss at least had a target to its feet like captain wise voice it would be much more bearable

I beat the final boss in 3 tries with the needle but getting the needle took me 15 tries
I recommend kill scorpion 1st.. if u kill this boss before scorpion he won't show up

yknow, Iv been watching you throughout my entire first playthrough and i gotta say....every single time.....your video is pretty much the most helpful everyone else leaves out key things.... keep it up dude you got me through chapter 4 just about :)

I was doing 80% of these procedures and still could not survive no matter how much I farmed to increase defence and so on. Finding the agate jar, investing on a longer transformation and learning how to dodge the tricky attack pushed me to victory.
Honestly I just beat him 3rd try and my advice is just all in in his first phase so you can kill him as fast as possible without using heal, after that you need to be rly rly rly patient and wait for right opportunity which was when he jumps and smashes his sword to the ground you have like maybe 3-4 seconds to hit him repeat that with one or two transformations you’ll get in meantime. Hope you kill him
Ugh. I've beaten Yellow Loong, Yin Tiger, Tiger Vanguard, Yellowbrow...why is THIS guy so difficult?
I removed my points from all stances, spells, transformations, everything. Then dumped them all in Survival, Smash Stance, and Spellbinder. Then went to work on those chicken legs.

What makes this boss 10x more difficult is his hitbox. Hacking away at his ankles.
Sometimes devs forget the game is meant to be fun

@Elbethium - Maaaan.TDV had been smashing me to bits for practically 2 days straight! 😅😅😅 I've literally lost count of my death number. This strategy worked, but I kept dying near the end. Fortunately I was able to Immobilize him with my HP hanging by a thread, eat 3 mirage pills, which enabled me to transform into the Macque monkey 1 more time, and he brought me home with his heavy frost attack. SHEESH! This game kicks major ass but it's SO much fun, I have to say. Thanks again. You are the MAN!

Got this boss on my third try using manly seethrough in the normal stance. But after 40 attempts to beat the scorpion king solo i thought this one was easy in comparison. At one point way before i entered the duskveil fight, the scorpion king just did not appear anymore on his spot. I‘ve spent many hours in this secret area 😅 i‘m so glad that i‘m done there.
Scorpionking got tired of beating your ass and left for the nearest bar. of course I had no such luck and had to get my ass beaten 30 minutes straight.
I gave up on Scorpion Lord after he beat my ass like 30 times and luckily enough he died fighting this boss. This boss is far easier than the Scorpion lord 😂.
I was stuck at yellow Long for 7h straight and now i gotta do this man

@@Elbethium I think you said it perfectly! I was ready to give up on the Wight way back in chapter 1. Then I saw one of his videos and now I have my solution! I try all of them a couple of times on my own first but then rather than breaking my controller, I look for this gentleman’s videos and I am set!
Nothing was working for me so I had to master this boss and Play with Spellbind and play extremely conservative. It took like 12 mins of tryharding but i ended up relying on perfect dodges to charge up my focus and time my Heavy attack which did 2k Crit. 2nd phase was hell cuz i could literaly not get hit by his big combos. I gotta say full martial arts wukong style was a pretty sweet way to beat this boss. Still would never wanna do that again. Hopefully everyone else has an easier time than me.

This fight took me like 10/15 tries but after watching this vid I got it second try and after getting the weevers needle I smashed the 100 eyed chapter boss first try

Damn last night I was stuck on Scorpionlord (your video helped me out a ton gg) and tonight it’s Duskveils, man than still gotta do the other 2 bosses, to complete chapter. I got like 80hrs so far, haven’t skipped any secrets. taking my time and farmed here and there, but what a grind so far. I never wanted to play Elden ring bc it seemed like too much of a grind but now look at me

This is the one boss that makes you want throw the game away, takes forever dodging and calculating and just when you think you got it, two hits and your dead.
Did you beat him? Use spellbinder. It makes it so easy

I beat him on my first try! But I used the frozen crow ghost and the ice monkey to defeat him, this freezed him a lot so I could easy attack him and do some good damage. ✊🏾🎮

Beat him second try with no items he's easy
This video helped me alot to defeat this boss. But in the 2nd stage you do remember that you should always stay near his feet to avoid his ranged attacks. First one is very easy but I recommend you to use the Bat so that it can also give some damage along with freezing the boss. Then stick ckose to him, keep on doging and hiiting and then boom, this boss will be defeated.
Yes that’s what got me by on his 2nd phase too long as you by his feet he can’t one shot you.
That is what i said in the video. Stick to his legs, and be careful when he jumps behind you and uses that longe range attack
If you don't kill scorpion side boss, then he will come and fight with this dragon and will take care of first phase

@@Animettvyep, happened to me. When he dies you get the schematic but can never craft if because you don’t have the stinger. I skipped scorpion and went for Dusk thinking the needle would help with that fight. Should be another way to get it besides NG+.

I tried your way but… I just maxed my gourds and then beat this wild boss with spell binder. That was satisfying. He’s not too crazy but you can’t approach with a regular set up. You either max spells and transformation or you max your basic stats and go spell binder. Fire.
7 days later finally beat recommended level : 105 😂😂

But your build advice is awesome and your videos top notch. Beat him first time, stay under his feet, dont let him get distance and use cloud step if he gets away. No spells on the first phase, save it all. But follow this videos build advice.

Dude I’m having a mental breakdown with this boss. Literally
As I commented this early on today I finally beat him HOLY SHIT😅
aight this actually works. Almost feel like Cheesing his 2nd phase.
But instead of starting the chain of attacks before he shouts in the 2nd phase.
at the start of 2nd phase, I found it easier to just let him do his blade attack, flying bone attack and tracking flying bone attacks and dodge it all.
Once he lands use Immobilize, attack 2-3 times then use Wight spirit then summon your clones. And then Use your umbral abyss immediately, stack its might, press 1, then spam the ice attacks. IT freezes Duskveil in place for a good 2-4 seconds
With your Clones + armor passive (seen in this video), and the amount of attack buff you get from your armor passive (using spirit skill gives you attack buff). It literally melted down Duskveil HP to 1/4 bar in a space of 15 seconds.
I did not use any attack buff medications nor put points on my Umbral Abyss transformation. So I'd say yep, properly cheesed Duskveil!

This boss is broken, you can't even focus on it. 70% of your normal attack won't hit. 🤦
Great guide. I mixed this guide and another one to help me. I was on the Dusk Veil for two days (not the entire day, but for a few good hours lol). The only thing I did not use is the rock solid. I kept Cloud Step and used it wisely only when health was dangerously low, so I can recharge my health. I only leveled up the first two on the left side for Cloud Step (Gallop and Converging Clouds). What helped me a lot is that I went back to chapter 1 or 2 I think it is to upgrade my drinks to an 18-Year-Old Coconut Wine that gives me 46% of Maximum Health for each sip and equipped my Gourd with Turtle Tear and Bee Mountain. The former for Mana recovery and the latter grants a chance to sip without consuming Gourd usage. Also, under "Survival" level up Spiritual Awakening and Wrathful Might and give Robust Constitution about 3 levels. Level up Stamina halfway down (make sure to have Deft Evasion). On Smash Stance try to level up the left side mostly (the first five. The second one I only had one level to unlock the rest, and I maxed out "versality" and "Quick Hand").

Just put on spellbinder this fight was supper simple. He’s big and clunky just stay at his feet and dodge out when he throws the bone sword in the ground.
If that was all he did you wouldnt need spellbinder. Also, rather have the spells than effect i can replicate with pellets

I did the spell binder idea and it was 10x easier, won on my first try. I even forgot to reassign my sparks I left in OPs build and still won with spell binder.
Yea I sure do wish it was that simple staying at his feet he does plenty other attacks not just throwing the hone sword on the ground
spellbinder is how I took him out as well. melted his hp fast with thrust stance
This boss is the hardest yet & just not fun. Funny how the Scorpion lord only shows up on your first time there…

Geniunely difficult boss. If anyone in the future is attempting this, just try to dodge and stagger him as much as possible and hit with 3 focus points. I got it in 3 days.

Beat this guy on my first play through in a couple of attempts; have no idea how, but my second playthrough I spent 2 straight hours and couldn’t beat his second phase. Ended up turning on a trainer through wemod to beat him, went into challenge mode and fought him there for the satisfaction of beating him 😅

When it get to the second phase it’s literally impossible to fight him because he just flys in the air the entire time
I thought this guy was so much easier than the scorpion drunk before him. He didn't hit as hard and was easier to dodge. Only took me a few tries once I learned his moveset. I put a lot into mana and defense and just kept using imobilize and cloud step as well as dodging his easier attacks to get some quick hits in. Repeated that for both phases.

Its been a few weeks of trying now, used various set ups, leveled up to 100 plus, still cant even get close to beating second phase after countless attempts

Did you know that if you go there before fighting the scorpion Lord he will actually assist you and fight the dude in the beginning phase and then all you have to do is sit and wait till they both die or near death and then kill them both and then continue the second phase
When the boss goes into second phase the scorpion dies
