Great strategy man, thanks for this video. Useful tip - you can start the fight with more HP, mana and stamina, if you equip with Preservation Orb curio before the fight. It will give you 60 MaxHP, 40MaxMana and 40 Max Stamina for a long duration after resurrection. Just that Preservation Orb is working the same with Incense Trail talisman too. Use Incense Trail talisman near the closest shrine check point from the boss fight. So you will get + 60 MaxHP, 40MaxMana and 40 Max Stamina from Preservation Orb, just before starting any boss fight. And after you get the buff, you can re-equip with other curios of choice, the buff will preserve and maintain during the entire fight. Preservation Orb can be used in the same way for any other builds or strategies and that's why is one of the best curio in game. Keep posting.

And another tip for end boss fights, both fights are on a surface water so you can equip with Waterward orb which Greatly increases defense in water.

I absolutely loved this game up until this point. This is the dumbest shit I’ve ever seen in a game. So I go through 40+ hours of gameplay, beating most bosses in 1-3 attempts, even Yellow Loong. Now everything I learned basically goes out the window with this insanely hard boss fight. It was the same thing in Remnant II

I had to use top take bottom, bottom takes top, the golden armor set(half mystical), a resurrection pill, the rest was your build, and luckily when I died, I came back when he was two hits from dying. Your build helped a lot. I had taken a 2 day break because I could not beat him

For people who struggle using different tactics play it like a normal boss but a lot more defensive and use the fire wolf you get in act 1, his full focus fire bomb attack damages health and his poise. It’s a shit tone of rng on the attacks but that wolf got me to the finish line. Also use the staff spin to deflect needles instead of dodging so you get free focus for heavy attacks and don’t risk getting stun locked.
Without this strategy, I would'nt have been able to beat Erlang at lvl 95. Also, I had 3 mirage pills, a life-saving pill, and resurrection pill, but I don't know if the resurrection pill would've worked against him. Many thanks.
Perfect guide!! Thank you so much, I defeated him after 3-4 hours. Lol. The only thing I did not have is the "Septenary Heat Fire". So, on the very last of his life, I was able to pop the "Azure Dust" one last time and I lay down the hurt while dodging pretty hard to get him over the finish line. Lol. I got the "Azure Dome" (giant monkey transformation). Now, time to go fight the game's final boss. I will do that tomorrow. Lol.

Followed this guide to the letter, took about 5 tries but that’s only because I couldn’t get his shield down in time the 2nd time before he started floating around and regaining his shield. You can use spinning staff to knock away those projectiles when he’s floating. 🙂 Took me about 30 tries but I got him! The payoff is SO worth it!
I keep forgetting about that against anything other than arrows. It just doesn't look like it'd work but it does.
